Lol!! I'm fighting some serious cravings today, dunkin doughnuts has a new velvet cake doughnut w cream cheese frosting on it. I would love one with a big cup of hot coffee. I want some cheese so bad. And I want some popcorn!! Mmmmm

Those tiny losses can be hard to push through, but at least you are still moving forward. You have been doing this for so long and your body is STILL losing. Yea!!!

Today is VLCD 4 and I am down 1 more pound, to 121.6. I'm starting to wonder about my scale because each day has been an even number. -1,-3,-1,-1. Never any extra ounces. The scale measures in .2 increments, so you would think it would change over the last 5 days.

I think tomorrow, I will weigh and if it's still xxx.6, I will drink a couple ounces of water and weigh again, just to make sure that it's. It stuck on .6 for some reason.

Anyway, I am really weak today. I feel kind of dizzy and having to take a lot of deep breaths. Did you go through this? I know I'm not eating enough food, but my bidy should be releasing extra calories into my system, right? I just can't get down 2 servings of plain meat and vegetables each day because I don't like meat and veggies without breading, dip, etc.

I've also only been eating 1 fruit because I want it to be balanced with the veggies. I don't eat the bread at all because that will send me off the rails into carb land. So, I've been only having:

1 100g meat
1 veg (don't measure)
1 fruit
1 protein shake
Vitamins
Lots of water

No wonder I feel bad. I'm not sure how to change it though. Right now, I'm just hanging on for dear life.

Congrats on the loss!!!! . Ive gotten like that before. I think I read somewhere that we almost feel like we have the flu sore and run down, because our body is going thur detox. The other day I was feeling really run down made some chicken tenderloins with like half an onion and lots of coconut oil. I felt like I had a treat lol maybe eat your fruit a few days a week. But I have used melba toast as bread.crumds and made meatballs and homemade pasta sauce.

I'm only down .4 pounds this morning, VLCD 5. I was sure that I was going to be down a lot today because I woke up to go to the bathroom 6 times overnight! I didn't drink any more water than usual, yesterday, so I thought that I must be releasing extra water or fat. I was so excited to weigh this morning, but it was the lowest loss to date. :-(

Oh well, maybe it will show on that scale tomorrow.

Thank you! And congrats to you too I hate when that happens up peeing all night then a small loss. Today I used melted coconut oil to coat my chopped romaine lettuce I added cold cubed chicken tenderloins added some salt, pepper and garlic powder... It tasted like a treat! I had an Orange and melba toast. And dinner was a p2 approved chili, yum yup... I hope I see a big loss tomorrow..

That sounds yummy. My fingers are crossed for us both to have a big loss tomorrow.


Hopefully, I can get through the night without eating off plan. I've been pretty dizzy and weak today. My body is screaming out for a real meal.

I'm going to try something I've never tried on p2. I'm going to eat egg whites and a whole egg with sauteed asparagus!!! I'm so excited lol then cottage cheese as a protein.

Tink - First off ! Sorry you're feeling crappy. But you really really need to be eating more to keep this hunger at bay. Less food does NOT help on this diet and without enough, you can send yourself into starvation mode which is dangerous for your body composition (your body eats it's own muscle) as well as for your health (hypoglycemia, etc.). You've got your two proteins. You say you "can't eat" veggies without dip. How about taking some cottage cheese as a protein and mixing it with some spices or mustard/sweetener or soy sauce or hot sauce and dipping veggies in it? Celery or cucumber are both good like that. How about an omelette or a scramble with spinach or something in it? Spinach would probably help with feeling weak. Also, it's a little rogue but have you checked out the Walden Farms products? They make a cole slaw dressing that's really good. Also their versions of Ranch, Blue Cheese, Chipotle Ranch, and Bacon Ranch are decent if not great and can make salads palatable. Also, veg or no veg, EAT YOUR SECOND FRUIT, for pete's sake! HTH

MOAM - I posted to you in the other thread too so sorry if this is a repeat. The eggs and asparagus sound awesome but the eggs are your protein already. You can't have eggs AND cottage cheese at the same sitting. Sorry!

Sure, those two meals absolutely CAN be your lunch and dinner. I read it wrong--that you were eating the eggs then having cottage cheese too in the same meal. You're all good!

Thank you for the advice!! Shelby what do you think I should do I'm bouncing around the same numbers up a few oz then down a few. Is that considered a stall? It's been for this last week now. I can feel a difference in body like I'm losing inchs but I don't know what I should do. I ended up eating p2 approved chili for lunch today, I made extra last night. My 3 kids are sick so thank goodness I was prepared, so I didn't have to cook. I may do the cottage cheese for dinner.

I'm on day 34 of vlcd I'm using hcg drops. Thank you for any advice I do appreciate it

MOAM - Ok so you have a couple of options here...(and again, I'm sticking to protocol advice!)

Option 1 - It looks like you are coming up on 40 days of your round pretty soon. Sometimes when you get this far in, your body just refuses to release any more weight. I don't know how long a round you had planned, but since you have been hovering around the same weights for this long, you could transition to P3 now, do your 21 days of P3 and 21 days of P4, and then go for another round after the first of the year (I'm thinking the timing is about right for that???). Good thing is that you have been pretty stable, you should stabilize relatively easily in P3.

Option 2 - Do an apple day as a stall buster in P2 and continue your round for AT LEAST a week after your apple day. An apple day is where you eat 6 apples in a day, nothing else, and limit your water/tea/liquid intake.

Option 3 - (slightly rogue) Do a mini-steak day. Fast until dinner (can have coffee and water) then combine your two protein portions into a single 7oz steak or hamburger patty and eat with 1 large tomato. No fruit. No breadsticks.

Option 4 - Stick it out until the end of your round and stop weighing daily. Just pick a day as your end date and whatever you weigh on that day is what you weigh.

That's what I'm thinking anyway. Congrats on holding out THIS long!

Thank you so much for your advice! I wanted to go 60 days (I know its not protocol to go that long but I had my mind set on losing as much as I can before New years) lol but I don't think my body is going to allow that. I don't want to waste my hcg and not lose. I think I'm going to go with option 2 tomorrow, I'll see if that helps. I really thought I could lose more weight. This is my 5th round, don't I have to wait like 6 month to prevent immunity on round 6?
Maybe I will be having some turkey next week lol. I wasn't planning on partaking. I'm just so deticated to p2 right now I havent cheated at all on my last 3 rounds.

You only need to wait the 6 months if you are doing rx hCG. It's usually not necessary on hhCG. Which are you on?

Congrats on not cheating. That is super hard so you are to be commended!

I'm actually well into P4 now. I've added back rice, legumes and potatoes and a bit of the occasional wheat and sugar. I am generally sitting right around LDW+3. The range that I've set for myself is 140-145 so I am happy to be in the middle which is a comfortable weight for me that I seem to be able to maintain.

Oh okay great, So I only would need to wait 42 days before I can start my drops again? I'm using hcg drops, it says 12,000 ng homeopathic pharmaceutical grade hcg 12x 30x 60x

With 3 full strict rounds I guess losing 73 pounds since May is alot. And maybe my body needs a break again.

I had cottage cheese and strawberries for dinner, I didnt take my drops today either. I pray I don't see a gain tomorrow , fingers are crossed!!
