Good Day,

I have been lurking and I must say, you are quite a group of wonderful and supportive ladies. I have been recouping from the flu. I plan to start my load on Wednesday and go for the 40 day plan. I am doing sublingual drops. Currently I am finishing reading HCG Diet 800 Calorie Protocal by Sonia Russell. I have done lots of research and this will probably be the plan I follow.

Continue to do what you have been doing, you have made a believe out of me. Have a wonderful day!

Well finally down a full pound today. It gave me the motivation to keep taking my drops for another day. Right now just going day by day to see how much longer i want to go this round. This is my 23rd day and i've lost 16.6 pre load pounds.

Oooooooooo! Another decade on the horizon! YAY!!

I've gotten through my stall and hit 174.7.

I am sort of doing everyday's a correction day type eating. I know we don't do CD on P2, but what I'm actually doing is having only fruit and veggies for lunch then double protein and veggies for supper. I'm getting all my calories in yet somehow I see losses everyday when I eat this way. It's frustrating to figure out my body with less than a week left on this round. I guess the next round will be so much easier.

WOE: HCG VLCD
Start Date: May 26
Hey ladies,

Starting my load days this Friday. I have a lower amount to lose this round so it was hard to decide if I should do it. I'm going ahead with it because all my muscle has gone and all the jiggly has come back. Broke my wrist Dec. 30 and I've been eating junk since then. Just got my cast off this past Monday and it will be a while yet before I can get back to my regime, so what better time to do a round of HCG then when you can't do anything physical! I'm worried I will have a hard time going the full 21 days of VLCD. Pandora on another thread has some experience with a short round, has anyone here ever had to cut a round short? I think this time I will keep up my vitamins, that's something I omitted the first time so hopefully taking my b12 will keep the dizzy spells to a minimum. Any other vitamin suggestions? Are digestive enzymes useful in P2?
I'm also looking for a good recipe or two for a dish I can make that lasts a couple days at least. Or how long can one keep a cooked chicken breast in the fridge?? For me, I need quick and easy for the most part otherwise I panic and eat something yucky and end up feeling unfullfilled or grouchy!! lol

thanks

Thank you for your replies.

@ Mommyonamission: Your weight loss is impressive. I'm curious; what is your average daily caloric intake?
@ Felina: Yes, my avatar is Natalie Wood, aka Susan Walker from the movie Miracle on 34th Street. Very cute!
@ Sillyme: thank you for answering my question!

I am beginning Round 6 (injections through my doctor) on Saturday (my birthday). I intend to use some of Dr. Lipman's plan, and stay more towards 500 - 600 calories per day, with more protein at each meal.

Thanks for your support! I will need it!

Hi ladies I will be back on p2 on Wednesday its been a challenging interruption. I haven't wanted to weigh in everyday I'm to scared to see the damages. I will report on Wednesday my starting weight.

@ Skeptical when I'm on p2 my calories range from 300-500 calories. I've been eating by the hunger scale on this p2.

Welcome bitsky

Mommy I just started P2 the low calorie part today(did a round last year and didn't do P3 correctly, need I say more?) and I forget. When you do a planned interruption you stop taking the drops, correct? I don't plan to do one but I forget if you do or you don't. Anyone can answer this question if you like.

Yes you stop the drops and still do 500 calorie eating for 2days then you eat p3 style. You don't load again when you want to start the drops back

Vitamins--I take potassium, magnesium and my digestive enzymes (those were "prescribed" --she told me I needed them, but I take OTC ones) .

Chicken--I have kept my cooked chicken in the fridge for at least a week or 2 in my fridge. I make a bunch ahead of time--how can I NOT when it is $1.99/lb???!!--and just pull out and heat up for quick protein.

My easiest quick and easy meal would have to be cottage cheese. They sell pre portioned cottage cheese (I think it is Breakstone) and it comes in 4 oz cups. I keep those on hand whenever I am on P2 so that if I panic and have nothing else to eat, I can break one of those open.

I have precooked onions, radishes, chicken, fish. I also buy bags of asparagus that comes in the steamer bags so all you have to do is heat the whole thing in the microwave. So easy!!!! That lasts me for a few meals. All those I can cook ahead of time so all I have to do is pull out, heat and eat. HTH!!

Thank you so much for the info!! I was thinking about trying cottage cheese this go round, not a huge fan but I'm willing to try it. I'm happy to hear the chicken is good for a few days!! I guess if things are in the fridge all is good, like leftovers...it's just things don't sit around too long normally around our place to experiment with times lol.

Today is my VLCD 1 so I've just had black coffee and water thus far.

Last round I went with a regime of 6 drops 6x/day, it was a pain in the butt but seemed to be OK, I stalled for a few days a couple days in and decided to up my drops to 7x/day because of some info I read (my stall was due to what I ate though so I SHOULDN'T have messed with my dosages.) Did the 7x/day for a couple days then went back to 6x/day then I was told to always follow the dose directions that came 'with' your HCG, well mine said to do 2 full droppers a day, that's about 20 drops each time; did that for 1 day but then felt REALLY hungry the next afternoon, after talking with reputable source she advised me to skip my next 2 sets of drops then continue with 10 drops at 3x/day. She said if I'm feeling strong hunger pains or any really overwhelming feeling (dizzy, nausea, etc.) that means my dose is too high. I'm reading over my notes from last round and over the course of the last 2 weeks in that round I stuck to drops 3x/day but played around going from 10 drops to 9 drops. I don't want to mess around this time, I feel that my some of my slow losses towards the middle and end were due to changing my dosages so much, maybe it doesn't hinder it though??
Has anyone else tried different dosages? I hope I can find out what will work for me before too long, I want to feel stable, not having to worry all the time if I'm dosing right or if I'm harming myself somehow.
It's funny I told myself I wouldn't be scared this round or that I was going to at least 'feel' prepared since I've done this before... nope I still feel nervous and unknowledgable.

R2P3D1... My weight to maintain is 142.

I can't believe I am down to 142!!!!!
So happy.
I have to say, I found it hard to get the calories up all day after being on 500 so long. R1 I was nervous to gain any weight and I ended up losing 20 lbs on my own when I was supposed to stabilize. This time, I am going to do everything I can to stay in my window.

I made my own Mayo (never tried that before) and forgot to eat to my avocado

I only added bacon to my day as my only new food. Tomorrow, I am adding dairy.

VLCD # 3 and I am down 5.8 lbs. Loaded this past weekend and gainned 3 lbs so I released that and I am down 2.8 lbs so far so I am a happy camper. I think best of all I am beginning to feel not so bloated I am peri-menapausal so bloating stinks! I plan on doing a 40 day round(plans can change as I know very well) and know as the days go on my releases will not be so grand. Hang in there everyone and have a nice Wednesday!

Great on the losses! Only had a headache the first 2 days which is a miracle, as the first two times it lasted 5-7 days. Lost my loading weight and now at 140. Going for 20 pounds loss but basically how I look and jeans fit (at 123 (first round 2 years ago) I was in 2's - the new sizing of clothes, not my old size 4/6 which is the what it use to be from 40 years ago). Picked up some gorgeous strawberries yesterday while picking up supplies for the ice storm that was/is coming our way. So far the weather isn't bad and we still have power. The berries were wonderful, and tomorrow I think I will make them into a smoothie with my allowance of milk and ice. Have some white egg powder so could do it for a complete breakfast/lunch meal with my melba toast. Will have to decide tomorrow. Cj

CJ - Glad to hear you didn't have a headache longer than last time.

VLCD #4 and 8 lbs. down. 3 load pounds gone along with 5 other pounds. How are you doing Mommy loading and getting ready for P2 or are you in it?

Have a great day everyone!

WELCOME CJ,keep up the good work.

Well ladies I am ready to start p2 today. I am up 1.6 from yesterday. Today I am 190.8
I will drink all my water and tea. I'm not going to drink any coffee or eat the melba toast today. I pray I'm down at least 4-5lbs tomorrow I'm ready to do this again.
