@buttah, I'm 5'4.75" so not much taller than you! LOL. I have always been large boned and hefty size muscles, even when I was thin. I know I won't look the same as someone else at the same weight or even the same size, just the proportions that I am built. But I did hide the higher weight well, to a certain extent. People look at me now and don't guess my current weight. When I say I want to lose more I get told "from where?" but still I can see it very easily. Ah, well, and now the extra skin from being very overweight for very long - but I'm still motivated to at least continue to try!

Getting ready
Hello,
I'm getting ready to do my 2nd round starting Feb. 15, I'm doing the drops again. I didn't prepare for anything on my first round so this time I would like to be ready & do things better. I want to eat proper loading foods for my loading days - any suggestions? I am going to make a week's worth of food already portioned out for quick & easy meals - any suggestions for simple and tasty creations? I haven't been creative with the veggies, usually get bored of the falvour and end up having a hard time stuffing them in. I would love to try beet greens or chard but have no idea what to do with them. Also this time round I'm actually reading P&I, which contradicts some things that we as the dieters have come to discover about the diet and ways to tweak it to suit our goals/needs. That's fine because everyone's different but I would like ask what your thoughts are on taking vitamins during the hhcg. He says not to but I've heard others claim to take them, I would like take them because I would think the body could only benefit??? I did experience light headedness and headaches during my first round, which I read was normal but I wonder if there's something I can do (diet legal) to help with that. It just gives you the feeling that your body is really lacking something and I want to fix it lol. Should I just try to enjoy the weak and frail feeling till P2 is over? thanks for everyone's time and thanks for having this thread!!! |

@Bitsky, I take my vitamins NOW - prior rounds I didn't because I wasn't good about taking them. I am having MUCH less headachy, frail, dizzy, wobbly feelings this time around. ALSO a big part of that I think was loading completely low carb. I stopped all sugars several days before I loaded. I had no sugar and only a teensy starch when loading (I had a few of those nut crackers to stuff cream cheese on top of - and they have a little rice flour in them) so I had almonds, avocado, olives, full fat cream cheese, sour cream, and Greek Yogurt, and lots of bacon. I basically almost did a fat fast. I highly recommend it.
@ME - down again! Woo Hoo! I'm at last round's LIW now Mommy! You're doing grand! @Buttah, thanks for being my cheering section! LOL |

Hi all
I use coconut oil while I'm p2.( not original protocol) That seems to help me a lot. With my melba toast I've been adding cinnamon, stevia and a tiny bit of coconut oil. It's sooooo goood. I stayed to same today as yesterday 186.2. I totally see the inches coming off, This round. Yay! C Marie |

Per my RX HCG clinic, I take vitamins as long as they're in tablet form (I guess there are trace calories/carbs in the gel caps, etc.), but no fish oil (as it's adding fat to the) during P2.
I use CO as a moisturizer (also approved by my clinic, much like Simeons was okay with mineral oil), but I do not eat it. That just seems risky to me. Seems to be okay for some, though. Everything else, I'm by the book. Although I skip the melba and make up the calorie deficit with a bit more of approved veggies. Oh, and I sometimes mix veggies. Other than that, protocol all the way baby. Oh, and I load high fat/protein with no carbs or sugar. MOMMY, that's AMAZING!!!!

Just wanted to introduce myself...
Ready to start soon!!! Ordered pellets, but the website said it may take 1-2 weeks. Hope not! I did one long round a couple of years ago and one short round. i managed to stay within 2 pound of lwd ? until recently! Gained ( 6 lbs.)over the holidays and then we had to put our beloved cat down and that has taken a tremendous toll on me! Having a reunion in April so maybe this will help give me some incentive. Looking forward to posting again. |

I've only been down ounces in the last few days, no full pounds
216.2 215.6 215.4 215 today Its still down but a day or two of 1 or 2 pound losses would be nice to see again! I plan on doing the short round only and i'm starting day 18 today so hopefully it will kick back into gear soon and give me a reason to want to stay on longer than the short round lol. Also needed to add anything under 215 will be virgin weight territory for me. The last time i saw 215 was in 2007 and only for 1 day before i bounced back up and never made it there again no matter how hard i tried with Atkins, don't get me wrong i love atkins it just wasn't working the same for me anymore which is why i ended up here! New to the thread and forum
WoW.... I came across this site 2 days ago ad pout this post yesterday and read through all 12 pages of posts and what a journey you guys have been on!!! I feel like I have been on a roller coaster of emotion with the ups and downs (mostly downs). I am so please and excited to have met all of you (although you don't know me yet). This is my first post on the forum.
I am on my second round of hhcg. The first started at 182 lbs. July 22 of last year, did 40 days and lost 20 lbs. I didn't drink nearly enough water, seldom reached 500 calories and after P2 I was 162. On P3, I lost 18 lbs. without the drops so I did just about everything wrong (except cheating. I never cheated and stuck strictly to the protocol food-wise). I ended up at 145. I Gained again and started P1 at 157 lbs. on Jan. 26 and after the load was done, I was a 164. I agree about you learn more about yourself when you are going through this journey. I love hcg. I am 38, 5'3", have a 6 year old and my goal is 120 whenever I get there. So happy to have found you girls. My husband had gastric bypass 3 years ago, and he started at 430 and lost 210 lbs, but they crept back on and he is now 250. I encouraged him to do hcg with me and he is doing reluctantly so I have learned my lesson that you cant push someone else into something they are not ready for. He went up 6 for the load and is down 8 right now. Thanks for letting me get all that out there. Euny |

I am seeing a nutritionist who highly recommends the diet as the healthiest diet she has ever seen in action in her 20+ years of working with clients. She recommended I do 3 weeks on P2 and 6 weeks on P3 and back to 3 weeks P2 until I get to where I want to be.
Thank you for your welcome... you are a rock star. Last edited by Eunytuny; 02-05-2013 at 08:33 PM.. |

silly what has been your menu the last few days?
euny thank you so today i am wearing my goal shorts and they are loose. They are a size 12. I was a size 22/24 this time last year!! I'm so happy. Its time to go buy more goal clothes. I seriously have to throw out all my big clothes, because they look just plain ridiculous now. I used to love big baggy clothes to wear around the house. Now it feels so heavy and uncomfortable. So now to a size 9 no more double digits |

I'm not worried about my menu its basically what i've been eating from the start, an apple a day, cabbage with a bit of tomato and rotating between very lean ground beef and chicken, occasionally I have romaine lettuce or cucumbers and shrimp. I'm always very close on the 500 calories. I think TOM is on his way since i feel kind of crampy the last few days but as of yet nothing happening! I am still moving down on the scale just at a much slower rate. 214.6 today. Seems to be going down in 0.4's instead of 1's lol.

I was just wondering because on my last round tomatoes and lean ground beef all of a sudden started to slow me down
