Thank you c marie, I know I've always read p 3 is important. That our bodies need that time to reshape and the skin to tighten. I do want to be done so badly lol... But your right I need to do p3 by the book and maybe try JUDDD in p4. Each round is getting harder and harder to get my head in the game.

Good morning! I sts 191.0 today. I'm not letting it get me down. I love how every round I discover new things about myself and this diet.
I've been watching robin w's youtube videos . She is The author of weight loss apocalypse. Man are my eyes being opened to a lot. I need to really read her book. |

I'm not sure how many days. For sure minimum 23 shots, 21 VLCD. Probably 30+/-. From load day 1 I didn't gain at all. Which is good because I'm already 2.4 above my "window" weight right now anyways.

I did my 2nd loading day yesterday and am doing VLCD #1 today. I did gain 2 pounds even though I again did NO starches/sugars loading. I do Rx injections. I am wondering, since I didn't gain much whether or not I will lose fast here at the beginning or not. Regardless I'm sticking to what I know works for me, and that's protocol. Once in a great while I mix a veggie, and once in awhile I use a reasonable substitute for something. Otherwise, nope. NO CHEATING, C'MARIE!!!! LOL (I still see some sf chocolate almonds sitting there staring me in the face).
So I'm sitting here drinking herb tea cuz it's warm and I'm hungry.

C'Marie, I mixed veggies. Not a lot (more because the recipes I like call for one veggie and spices than because I think it affects losses - I don't think that), but I did mix them.
And as you know, I had a 3 lb loading gain my first round and less than a lb for my second. I would much prefer that, as I like to see NEW LOSSES start sooner. I think if you gain a lot in loading, you might have a "better" first week, but you're just re-losing what you just gained, KWIM? I'm so excited for you! I am thinking I probably will do one more round to get to my new (but not yet official) and final goal of "somewhere in the 130's." Although the number 143 would SEEM like still a lot on someone my height (5'4"), I look rather "small" for that number. I'm wearing 27's and 28's in skinny jeans, and I don't mean "mom" styles, believe me - yuck... (or size 6's, with some 4's), and smalls to medium in tops (depending on boob room). I know it's weird. Maybe it's my big boobs, my extra tummy pouch skin that will soon be lopped off, or that I have a lot of muscle, especially in my legs... I don't know! I actually think the extra skin (some on my arms too, unfortunately) and muscular legs may be most of the oddity here. And I'm not "overweight" on the BMI chart, either. BUT... I think I still have a bit of abnormal fat around my middle (although my waist is clearly visible - yay) that I should get off before I do my tummy tuck. So, I figure I can get through 21 more days. And whatever I lose, that's it! We'll see.

FABULOUS! Me, I'm down the loading weight after only day 1 and feel pretty good. A few more pounds to get down to last round's "window" and then onto new ground. Actually, since menohell and the 10# I couldn't re-lose, I am hoping to at least get down to my old low this round. I would be happy with that, if I can maintain it with JUDDD, and then do another round after 6 weeks or so. I realize, I have done this so many times now, on some emotional level I am wondering *if* it will stop working for me. I have never aborted a round or cheated, but because I do Rx, it makes me a bit skeered that at some point I won't be able to lose or won't be able to maintain. sigh. I hate headgames my mind plays on me! It won't make me stop or give up, but still.....I don't like those thoughts a bit. ![]() |

@Buttah, really? holy cow, woman, you are already rockin the new bod. I would be absolutely ecstatic if I could get into the 140's. I think the only time I was in the 130's was when I was teetering between anorexia and bulemia. I just plain have too much muscle to get very much lower. Although, I do notice since I've aged that I have lost some muscle. I will not join the people who say not to lose more. If you want to, and you can, then do it! After all, you can always change your mind and re-gain if you don't like how you look. That is abundantly easier than losing it!
I do know that I will be joining everyone else who works out soon. I am working on converting the top room of my office into a PT facility. There are several of us at the office who need it. I'm the boss - I have a lot of exercise equipment - why the heck not!? So I am doing it. Call it a perk. Throughout the years, I have collected a nordic trak, a health rider, a total gym, a rebounder, an inversion table, and am getting a treadmill to go along with my glidecycle/trak conversion with the sling for my hip to be non weight-bearing. Maybe that all will, in time, help me firm up some. It's just so hard when walking every step hurts. I would sure like my assistant to get some benefit from it also. I realized I didn't get all my water in yesterday. I did ok, but not great. I had four cups of herb tea and only 2 glasses of water. I really need to pump that up. The losing process takes A LOT of H2O - not just because it fills us up some, but because in the processing of fat burning, your body requires it. That's my understanding, anyway. And I know I always lose better when I drink more water. That is my experience. So I better get on it today! GLUG GLUG GLUG!
