Hello all, welcome back Julie.... I have a question ladies I'm on. P3 day 5, has anyone experienced this everything I eat tastes off. I'm really sick of food right now. I'm forcing my self to atleast eat 800 calories a day. I know I should be eating more calories but ughh even my green tea doesn't taste right.

![]() Well, I'm back after an interesting weekend. I'm just not a huge fan of holidays (except Halloween! ) so that's why it ended at "interesting." There was some unexpected drama but on the whole, I skated about 32 miles, walked after Thanksgiving dinner, and got back to a somewhat comfy space after a pseudo-egg/chicken day Saturday. Two omelettes, one sans cheese, plus a lone chicken thigh and some sugar-free cranberry sauce--does that count? (Btw, the sugar-free cranberry/persimmon combo was fabu! Yum!)But yesterday, I went to see Breaking Dawn with the usual suspects and allowed myself popcorn, candy, and sushi afterwards. Can you say carbs, sugar, and sodium, sodium, sodium? Today--up almost 4 pounds and WAAAAAY over my self-imposed high place. So another Monday cd it is for me today, which I was totally prepared for, as the chicken thighs got baked Saturday night (thus the lone chicken thigh on my egg-day!). We'll just see how much of this is water weight and how much is real weight tomorrow. I think I am coming to the conclusion that my body just likes the space in between 145 and 150 a LOT better than the space 5 pounds lower. I personally would prefer the lower but first I have to get back to 145! There are parts of me that I like a whole lot better on the higher end and parts that I'm not so fond of but I'm still puzzling over what is "normal" fat vs. "abnormal" fat, as a lot of this weight is going to places that are actually "normal"--kwim? I'm still fitting into all my pants but I just don't want this creeping up, as discussed earlier. I'd like to start the new year out right and that means UNDER 150, preferably UNDER 145, thankyouverymuch!Anyways, hi to all! Glad to see Julie back--I was thinking of you when we had our less-than-optimal weather and hoping that you had indoor stuff planned for that day! Julie, Shelby, nice to see you both! Junkn, just adjust your DD calories to the maintenance level and you'll be good to go! Mine for example are 1784 on UD and anywhere from 624 @ 35% to 892 @ 50% depending on how I'm feeling. Once in a great while I go clear up to 1070 @ 60% and that is ok with Dr. Johnson according to his book. I did JUDDD for my P3 and early P4, working on it again now that I hope I have the insomnia thing pretty much gone. Intermittent fasting can bring it on bad in women from what I hear and I've always had insomnia so it's no fun. But if I eat first thing in the morning about 20-30 grams of protein (I do a protein/coffee shake!) then I do much much better. I skip lunch and just eat a light dinner on my DD. You can do it! I'm trying to work my way down to lower numbers again without kicking up the insomnia. I need to get back to my LIW and I'm thinking I'm about 5 pounds above it now. When I did 500 calories or less on DD I quickly went down, but then sleeplessness pushes me UP big time. Doing a sort of CD here today with my DD. I do way better when I eat early than when I "save" my calories for later - but then at night I have to have something with my evening vitamins or I get serious issues in the tummy.

Morning Ladies ! R3P3D7 & finally no gain/no loss STS. So happy about that. Yesterday had 1500 calories so will try that today as well & see if the scale moves or not & then start going up again to see if 1500 is my number or if I can go higher. I sure hope I can since I'm exercising. We'll see but so far the first week of P3 is done & pretty happy with what I'm eating and no huge fluctuations. I basically am having what I want (P3 of course) & eating to fullness.

Good morning ladies, Thank you everyone for the replies.... The digestive enzyme helped, but I think I am a little constipated. I'm going to drink some smooth tea today and see if that helps. I'm going to get some Greek yogurt for tomorrow.
My kids and husband just got over being sick. I have a little sore throat today. But I don't think that is why everything tastes so blah. I think the hcg is still in me. Usually when I get on p3 everything tastes so good. This was my first 42 day round so maybe thats the difference. So Yesterday I thought I'd make some cream chesse muffins (1 egg, stevia and cream cheese) I had 2 of those. Then I made some oppsie bread, I had one of them. I weigh in today at a whopping 210.6. My ldw is 206.6. Not good at all! Tom is still in town too. :/ I'm going to do a correction day today. |

UGH. Being sick sucks.
Still a fraction over my window (around .3) and all I ate yesterday was eggs for breakfast and fat free chicken broth with chicken breast and tons of green veggies (in the broth). I did have a ton of that, though, as I was unusually hungry for being sick. Plus some TJ's seaweed snacks, which are salty. My boobs are killing me, so it's probably my ever-unreliable TOM coming, which means I may be holding water right now and will soon be perfectly fine in my window. Fingers crossed that's what it is. No way I'm doing a CD feeling like this - that's for sure (as you know, I don't believe in them anyway - they seem to cause only temporary big losses, and maintenance is a long term endeavor, but enough about my preaching). I hope I get back to my window (or to LDW, even better) soon. Glad some of you are trying and enjoying JUDDD. I really loved it and its impact on my bloodwork was phenomenal. If it weren't for the fact that I have my goal round coming up, I'd be doing it now as well. But going to HCG straight from JUDDD is likely why I was starving at the beginning, and I'm not risking THAT again!

P3- Help im 9 lbs over in the first week
Hi everyone. I messed up this p3. I immediately ate 1600 caloried with a few carbs then thanksgiving. . dinner (one plate) crackers. I haven' eaten over 1700 calories yet and today is my first CD. My period is due today too. How can i get this off do you think it will stick??? Help!!

Dawn-good advice and all, but how 'bout an update on you? How're you feeling? Are you JUDDDing?
Buttah-glad you're back in. Hope you stay there or even lower tomorrow, and hope you're feeling better! Thanks for the insight w. JUDDD before your hcg round. I think I'm doing a round late Dec. so I will prob skip JUDDD. Tameka- That's a rough place to be. Esp. at the beginning of P3 when your LDW isn't quite locked in yet. But, hopefully, since it was just 1 day, it'll go quickly w. a good CD. The steak day (difficult though it is) should work wonders for you. BUt, like Dawn said, it may take a few days. that's a frustrating place to be!! (I know b/c I'm out of window too, but mine was well deserved and earned over my 12 week vacation!! Julie---everything has been out the window. I am not even weighing now. Hence the new hcg!! LOL. I will start a new round once I am over this virus. I feel like crap--my throat is killing me and my voice is still not 100%. I am tired of being sick. Because I feel like crap I have been eating whatever I can find. Seriously--my son works for Little Caesar's and brings pizza home--I have never had as much pizza this past week as I have in a whole year!!! I have to get back to something because this eat whatever I want is not working. But I feel so bad, ah....that is why no updates from me. I would just rather not post at all. Not really feeling so cheerleady right now.

Julie, I can't say for sure if JUDDD is the reason I struggled early in my round, but at my clinic, I'm the only one they've ever had w/ SO much hunger AND the only one who went straight (and I mean straight) from intermittent fasting to HCG.
We are talking STRAIGHT from... As in, the day before I loaded, I had less than 500 calories, and every other day going backwards before that. Even Robin W. thought it was the cause of my struggles (and she is not against IF in general - she too has seen the remarkable health benefits in clients.) YMMV, but it's probably not worth it to JUDDD right before a round, I figure. Then again, I'd also been losing in general (using different WOE's before JUDDD), so it could've just been general depletion. On another note, I worry that I have had VERY few carbs in P4. But then again, maybe that's just how I have to live, which is fine. But I'm also afraid I will gain a ton in my next load. My plan is load LC/high fat, but that's tricky to do. Robin W advocates 3 days of loading, I think the 2nd and 3rd injection days. I'll have to ask what you eat on the first. Loading will be around Dec 17. Anyone else? Dawnyama, really? Another round? Are you sure you're not already where you're supposed to be? Do you worry that the body just isn't meant to spend that much time on HCG? I have no idea. I'm truly asking. It is really hard not to eat whatever you feel like when you're sick. I could go to town on all sorts of unhealthy foods. Fritos sound particular good right now. And Ramen. Hi everyone. Wow, long day today for me! Well, like Lara, the magic number appears to be 3.6 as I was down exactly that from my chicken day yesterday.
Super duper excited about something that will be happening in the next month or so--getting a new car, fingers crossed. I know it probably doesn't sound like a big deal but I've had the same car for 16 years and I figured out a way to re-fi my house at a lower rate, still pay my mortgage off in the same amount of time, take a little cash out and still be paying slightly less monthly, except for increased insurance. For a new car! I'm really excited! Never even thought it would be worth my while but the credit union guy walked me through it so I am jazzed to be able to do it and keep expenses pretty much the same. Sorry to hear everyone is sick. (from a good safe distance!) all around! |

Having a tough day
Just really hungry ! Haven't cheated just eaten more calories that I wanted to. I did 30 min on my exercise bike but I had 1900 calories. Breakfast was 2 sausage patties (no sugar), 2 eggs & guacamole/ lunch salad & 8 oz of lean ground beef, full fat dressing & a pear, snack handful of blackberries/ dinner 2 burger patties with Duke's mayo & snack can of albacore tuna with mayo & coffee with orgabic hnh...![]() Oh well going to take a long bath & go to bed & hope for the best tomorrow. 1500 cal is just not enough...I AM HUNGRY If I go over I have some steaks I can make with a tomato but darn will I then really be hungry..I got the 1500 from running my BMR for my weight...I miss P2 sometimes & the lack of hunger !
