November/12 Phase2: Right Frame Of Mind! All are Welcome!

OK, here we go.

I'm restarting fresh ... enough is enough ... had some slips before, but will stay OP 100% from now on.

Today is November 3rd and VLCD#1 at 190.0 will report weigh in daily.

Remember to turn your clocks back 1 hour tonight. It's "Fall Back" time!

Days will get shorter ... does that mean we'll lose faster!?! I know, nice try though

Doesn't make sense but I'll take it... I'm down 1.7lbs.... I'm also down a few inches around bust, waist and hips...so obviously something is budging!!

I Would like to join in if there's room for one more....
I have decided to do a short round to keep my eating in check. This time of year I have a tendency to eat too much comfort food. So I need the accountability . Tomorrow will be vlcd day1. I just opened a new bottle of pellets so I'm good to go..

Sweetlady! Wow, you are so tall ... you'll be like a model by the time you reach your goal weight! Anyway, Happy Indulging!!!

Chanel, everything boils down to choices we make, my friend! I have to confess I was not in the right frame of mind either when I came in, even though I wanted to lose this weight so badly.

I just can't go on like this anymore. It's becoming more and more uncomfortable for me to carry this extra weight around. I don't feel good, I feel ugly and miserable. All my clothes are tight and nothing, I repeat, NOTHING TASTE BETTER THAN THING FEELS. Been there and done that many times.

So, if we make a mistake or a bad choice, we just need to refocused and be OP by next meal (bite).

Food is what brought us in here. Therefore, I need to divorce ourselves from foods and only eat what is on our food plan. Not even a taste, nor a lick nor a sip.

I need to do this thing right this time. I need to be honest with myself for this to work for me! Are you in!?!

I'll be here for you! Just focus and let's get going on the right direction! We can do this!

Both times I fell off the wagon I was feeling very sleepy and very tired. So, if I get too tired, I will drink more water to hydrate myself and if I can, I'll take a nap! And that's why I went to food ... I was looking for "energy".

Healthy4life lol I was 130 in high school but tend to look gangly if I lose too much. I am working out though so hopefullly it will all work out. I lost went from 174 to 142 doing atkins about 8 years ago and then 4 years ago I went from 179-147 with atkins. I started June 28th with Atkins and lost about 7 lbs then lost and regained the same 3lbs for a month or so maybe 2. Then started Juddd and went from the 187 I was stuck at to 181. Now I keep going from 183-181 but I am sick of the scale not moving. I started working out to hip hop abs and about 6 jillian micheals dvds on Oct. 15th and have only taken 2 days off so I am motivated. Usually I stay the same weight because I have a physical job but I get the depo shot and my new gyno told me last visit that with the amount of dieting and working out im doing I should be losing and im not. Im going to be getting something like the nuvo ring instead asap but she even said im fighting a losing battle until I do.. hopefully Hcg gives me the weightloss I want. I really am dedicated to losing this.

Bee! Of course there is room for you in here! We're all very happy to have you join us! How much do you want to lose!?! And what's your current and goal weights!?!

Shanan, you are amazing ... I got tired only by reading about all your exercise routine

You look very young, and if you are exercising a lot and not eating enough, your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose any weight. Actually, you may even gain. That's why it's so important to have the real HCG product.

Food has been a love and hate relationship in my life. I love to eat it, but hate what it does to my body and mind. If I keep eating the same old way, guess what!?! I'll look like the same old me. I really need to change my relationship with food. I need to reeducate myself and learn not to use food for comfort or any other emotional reasons.

When are you getting the nuvo ring!?! I had to take a medication called Predinesone and my body was holding to some weight too. But now with HCG we'll release all this extra weight and will not only reach our goal weight but we'll stay there and keep it off.

They say we should not exercise too much while on this program. We don't want to starve our bodies. But I'll start taking walks and doing some light weight training, Yoga and Meditation. My skin is sagging and I'm not getting any younger. Need an exercise buddy too.

I'm so glad you decided to join us. We are going to do his together, you'll see. Can't wait to step on the scale tomorrow. Last night I was at 194.0 and this morning I was at 190.0

Today a little girl in my neighborhood came over with her mother and dropped off 6 cans/boxes of forbidden goodies I bought to help her raise funds for her school! I asked DH to take it away from the house. My mouth was watering just by looking at them. But I'm in the right frame of mind now and will do this thing right to the end. As I said it before, we're going to do this together

Angie I am just planning on doing the targeted workout dvds while on the plan. They are shorter 30 min. Vs 40-47 min on the more cardio focused ones. Ill alternate the abs and buns and thighs one I guess. I don't want to sabatage myself by overdoing the cardio but still want to tone while losing. How about all of the toothpaste and hair product restrictions? Are you guys doing those? I went to vs to get cinnamon toothpaste and they didn't even have one kind! Im checking walgreens next. I don't wear makeup daily anyway so ill see how that goes I do straighten my curly hair and almost every hair product I use has some kind of oil I am going to keep it and see if it makes a difference or not. I went to gnc yesterday and got the hcg with 10x on it so its the real kind, the guy tried to get me to buy another one that was not.
as far as the depo shot goes I am due to get one anytime now, im calling my insurance monday to find out how much they cover of the other one I am not getting the nuevo ring but another kind similar that starts with an M. I can't remember the name right now maybe menerva?
I also m glad to have someone to go through this with! I cannot wait to lose this weight!

And sorry about any weird typos I usually post on my phone and some buttons on my keyboard are wonky I am not super young 37. I want to lose this weight while I can enjy it though! I read a post by a lady in her 60's who had in her signature that she just wanted to be a normal weight before she dies! Omg I laughed so hard but its sad too. I don't want to be worried about weight for the rest of my life.

Morning everyone.
My starting weight after loading for 3 days is yikes 171.... Thank you Storm Sandy for letting me add an additional load day. I was not emotionaly ready and wanted comfort junk food. Goal is 155. I'm 5'9"
And wear a size 10. Goal is a solid 8. Hcg really reshapes the body. I'm more interested in being able to maintain a realistic weight for life then getting so low and not staying there.
171 has been a set point for me in the past. I need to hang in there and work thru it.

I'm in the right frame of mind today and will stay in the right frame of mind today. I need a daily reminder to stay on plan as I know this works. I will not weigh daily. The scale has an emotional hold on me I can't break and has caused me to lose focus and cause binge eating. I will weigh again Friday am.
I really want people to stop telling me how good I look. When I hear the compliments it doesn't help me....it makes me think well maybe I do look ok and maybe I'm done....
No I'm not done....I want and need this round to help with the loose skin and also a little cushion for the Holiday season.

Thanks for the We can and will do this.

Off to do my 10 mile walk. I have been walking for years so it's ok to do this exercise for me. It's starting anything new or adding additional exercise that will slow weight loss.

Good morning, my new buddies!!!

182.8 this morning what a whoosh from 190.0 WOOHOO I LOVEHCG

I need to get ready to go to church, but will post more later this afternoon!

Shanan, I also use my iPhone or iPad and it messes up my typing too. Don't worry about the spelling. I also don't worry about make up, shampoo nor toothpaste. I'm 56 and I need my creams!

Bee, I'm so glad you are so close to your goal weight. We'll do this together, you'll see! But I got a little worried when you said you need a little cushion for the holidays ... Are you planning to eat sugar and flour!?!

I'll be done with this round on Dec. 1. Then I need to be on Phase 3 for 21 days and that will be by Dec. 22 or 23. I'm planning to eat more veggies and protein but no sugar nor flour. Then I'll do my last round to take off the last pounds and will maintain that. I don't think I will ever be able to eat that junk food again. It makes me feel so sick and my body hates it. It's only a moment, a few minutes or even hours of pleasure for days, weeks, months and even years of pain, shame and discomfort.

I'm also wearing a size 10 right now. My 8s are all tight. So, when I get to a body that I feel comfortable in, I'll stop. The last time I was 140, I was 22 years old ... man, that was a long time ago ... But I'll know when to stop.

Bee, I hear you with regards to all the compliments . That is what messed me up too. I couldn't handle it. But now I just thank them graciously and say I've stopped losing. Just to get them off my back and I keep doing whatever I want and need to do.

Some people are jealous and they just want us to stop losing so they don't look too bad next to us. Others are sincere in their compliments and just want to encourage us. So, it's NOT what others say that matters, but how we take it. It's up to us and how we want to interpret it! And our attitude will determine that.

Girls, I need to run now or I'll be late for Sacrament.

Hi All, I've done this diet in the past, but since then I've had another baby and need to lose some again. DH and I loaded Thursday and Friday, so today is our second day of VLCD.

I'm 5'9.5" and my top load weight was 169.5
This morning, 165.5!

Question: I usually take fish oil supplements, should I cease on Phase 2?

down .5 today....not bad considering i did cheat yeaterday. But no more today- I have my all my meals sorted today and for the next three days...so no cheating, no excuses!!

Hi all. Today was VLCD#5 for me and I was stalled this morning. No loss, no gain. Hmph! Not letting it discourage me though! Instead I committed to drinking a gallon of water or more and staying OP.

Been planning my meals and cooking today. I cooked up about 5 servings of my baked chicken tenderloins using pepper and chili powder, cut up 3 servings of cucumbers, and got a new bag of spinach ready to go! Have to run out for new tupperware so that I can package up my meals. Knowing its all prepacked and ready to go, is such key to staying OP for me.

I got this!

Good job to all of you ladies as well! Angie & Chanel, great job on the losses this morning. Keep it up! You can do this! It feels so good to see the loss each day, doesn't it?

Its funny how while on HCG I look forward to getting on the scale each morning. Any other time, I act like I'm afraid of it! lol

Well I am all loaded and ready. My DD 16 is also joining me. She is notorious for wimping out on diets though lol. I hope she sticks to it. We also got tiny tupperware type containers and I made a menu for the week and went grocery shopping. My bf let me use his digital scale to weigh all the meat portions out and we grilled shrimp and chicken for my dd and my lunch. We are having tomrrow:
Brk... Apple
Lch...grilled chicken 100g raw
Half of a medium tomato w/ sea salt
1 melba toast
Din...Talapia 100g raw
Asparagus
1 melba toast
1 orange
doesn't sound very exciting lol but atleast I don't have to wonder what to eat.
hope the orange and melba toast don't hinder anything but I can't just eat apples and I don't like strawberries except in shortcake form lol grapefruit is too sour.

Timsbeloved, I'm so HAPPY FOR YOU!!! I know exactly how you're feeling!!! My highest was 265 at one time and I couldn't wait to see "ONEDERLAND" on the scale again!

I did Atkins for a while and lost 65 pounds ... then switched to Medifast and lost some more. Now I'm doing the HCG to get down to my goal weight. I will succeed this time. I know for sure that this time I will reach my goal! Because I say so ... And so it is ...

My lowest was 160.2 and then I thought I was fixed, that I could eat sugar and flour like a "normal" person again and I lost control and gained 40 pounds again. So here we go again ...

As I type this now, you probably are already in "Onederland" ... I'm keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you! That's a huge accomplishment!

Angel, you are so right, I look forward to weighing myself every day. Sometimes I even weigh myself at night. You are doing great! Doing all the right things, preparing all your meals ahead of time and I love your positive attitude towards everything. Just hang in there, my friend, and you'll continue to lose the weight, you'll see!

I don't expect to lose anything by tomorrow either, because I just lost 7.2 lbs today. Our bodies need to readjust when there is a big Whoosh like that.

Chanel, thank you for acknowledging my loss! You're so sweet! Congrats on your weight loss too. Remember, a loss is always a loss! It doesn't matter how much we lose ... we should always celebrate every single oz our bodies release!

rjj! I don't know if you should or not take your fish oil supplement on Phase 2. But since we cannot even eat Salmon nor Tuna right now due to its high level of fat, I would stop the supplements for now or until you get to maintenance.

Going to watch the Secret again! I love that movie! It puts me in the right frame of mind. Our feelings are the true feedback mechanism to us and it tells us if we are on the right track or off track.

Sounds good, Shanan I find I *love* an orange smoothie in the morning, but I just use 1/2 of the orange then eat the rest an hour or 2 later.

Ok during my 2 days of loading I went from 181.6 up to 186.4 ughhh. Was hoping it wouldn't be so much! So today it vlcd1p2. Heeeerrrrrreeeee we go!

Hi! What have you lost on each round? Im trying to get an idea of what I can expect. I am hoping to do either 2 or 3 21 day rounds. How long of rounds did you do?

HI Everyone, I'm horrible at posting because I read from my phone most days and it is just to hard to post on it..anyways i'm on VLCD 20 and have lost 13 pounds..I'm 146 today and started to really notice my arms are less toned. I know your not supposed to lose muscle but there is not doubt that I am losing some. Does anyone incorperate weights into the exercise to keep from losing muscle tone. I need to up my water today as I'm slacking on it badly today. Hope everyone continues to lose..come on day 40 for me

Healthy 4 - no I don't plan on eating sugar and starch over the holiday. I just want the wiggle room for added stress and lack sleep as they also cause me to retain water and gain a bit.

On plan today. I feel I ate a bit too much and should have stopped with less. I will weigh in on Friday and see the results. Still feeling a bit of hunger then hhcg hasn't seemed to take a way my hunger just yet . I plan to start p3 December 1st no matter what the scale says. As I have extended rounds in the past and it was so not worth it for me.

I need to concentrate on not eating for emotional reasons.....the funeral home called me today about pre planning for my Moms services and I so wanted to reach for the candy dish. I ate a cucumber instead.


Today a friend said to me, I'm so glad you are filling back out....you were starting to look sick.....yikes these loading pounds do make a difference in how I look and feel. I didn't say I was starting a new round. So I'm hoping my loading bloat is gone soon. I'm not happy if they say I'm skinny and I don't like it when I look filled out. I will ignore all comments.

Have a great night everyone. I'm off to the store for more cucumbers and tea. I need to prep for the next storm heading our way.
