Hello everyone

Glad to see everyone working protocol as best they can. Good day for me.
3 liters of water
2 celery stalks , chicken breast, 2cups of lettuce with a handful of strawberries and one apple. Done with food for the day. Couple cups of tea to round out my night.
I use natural calm and find it works well with no cramping or urgency issues.

I also crave something dry with a crunch on P2. Think I will make apple chips for tomorrow.

Looks like the snow is letting up
I really am in a better frame of mind when I don't look at the scale daily
I will weigh Friday or Saturday am.
Have a great night everyone and remember a cheat is so not worth it and will set you back a week.
Bee

Well, the two 150 mg capsules of magnesium citrate from this time yesterday did not do the trick (yet), so I just took three of them. I never thought I'd see the day that I'd be anxiously awaiting ... that. hahahaha

LosingwithHCG, glad to hear you're OK to do this 100% with us! I'm sure you're going to do great!

Wait a minute, I noticed a few things that are not OK according to Dr. Simeons Protocol:

1. Who told you to take 15 to 20 drop 4 times a day!?!

2. Broccoli is not on the menu for phase 1

3. Are you mixing Strawberry and Apple!?!

Pandora174, I'm so excited for you! Just a few pounds away from your goal weight! WOOHOO WE BOW TO YOU

Shana, Congrats on your weight loss. You're doing great! Sorry to hear your DD gave up! But did I read it right (10 Splendas) ... OMG, girl, you have a sweet tooth over there! I can never have a whole package. Why don't you switch to Stevia, it's sweeter than sugar, and you can use much less. Besides, Splenda is not good for our bodies anyway. I get terrible cramps ... Also, the Almond Joy Creamer is not allowed either. Hope it won't slow down your weight loss. We all learn from our mistakes!

MOMMYONAMISSION, Hi there! Good coaching to Sweetlady. Regarding wanting to be in different phases, you're too funny ... , my 2 cents on it is: Focus on the "Present" and enjoy the ride!

Jeanyyy, how much water are you drinking!?! I used to suffer a lot from constipation and the fiber capsules I'm taking now, help me to go regularly, if not twice a day.

Another thing, can I ask you for a big favor? Could you please be so kind as to avoid using the "quote" to reply to everyones posts. Since our group keeps growing in here, if everybody uses it, we'll have an avalanche of repeated/redundant messages. Hope you understand. Thank you!

rjj11755, hang in there, the weight will come off soon!

LosingwithHCG, -4.4 is Fabulous in only 2 days! You're doing great! But no more marshmallows, do you hear me!?! LOL

shelbyla, great coaching!

But can you see what I mean with all the quote's reply!?! I can reply to everybody in here without having to repeat what they wrote previously by using the "quote posts", and they still know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, enough of that. Did I tell you that you look gorgeous!!! I can't wait to reach my goal weight and look like you (body wise) Hey, did your skin get any flabby!?! Mine is already getting too flabby ... any suggestions!?!

Hi Bee, it seems you're doing great over there! Can't wait to see what the scale will say to you this weekend. A big woosh I bet! Hey how do you make your apple chips!?! I'd like to try that!

_______________________

As for me, I was down to 180.2 this morning ... It's working!!!

Keep drinking your water ladies!!!

Good night!

~Angie

Wow- this discussion is growing fast!!! I'm down to 206.1....I don't necessarily feel or look lighter by any means- but I don't feel bloated- which is great!!!
This is what I'm eating
B: Coffee with a dash of milk
Apple or strawberries at around 10:30am

L: 2 pieces of chicken tenderloin cooked on a dry pan which I dip into 1tbs of mustard and 4 cucumber sticks

D: Same as unch- but I change the vegetable. I know to it says to not eat the same protein twice in one day- but it's a matter of convenience for me. I can't get to the fish market that easily- i won't eat frozen fish (cause they're disgusting here (my opinion) and I have not bought any beef due to all the posts I have read about how that can stall you etc...

Plus I drink about 3 litres of water a day- i can't drink anymore!!

A new decade! 178.5! Down 1.5 for the day and 7.9 so far this is working excellently! I almost forgot to weigh when I got up and glanced in the mirror as I was changing and thought Hey! I look skinnier! Lol and hopped on the scale to finally see 170's! Whoooo!

Yeah, im taking way too many drops, I finshed a whole bottle. Shame on me
How many drops is everyone taking & where did you order your drops?

I ordered mines from GFC Health, its buy 2 get one free, it was 40 bucks for 3 bottles , works just as good as meridian, i think.

R3P2D35 & down -08 to 133.2 Went to the Dr for a check up & first time since my weight loss & she was amazed & very supportive & not critical at all about the hHCG. BP was normal but she is running all types of blood work to double check everyting & to check my thyroid since I told her that the HCG puts me in such a wonderful positive mood

Happy releases ! p.s. I am wearing a size 6 in pants

Hi Angie! Thanks for the compliments! I try to be helpful but I learn something new everyday myself. As for the looks--well, you should have seen me in high school! Let's just say that I've "grown into my face!"

I TOTALLY see what you mean about the quote replies. It does make the thread kind of long BUT... while YOU may be able to go back and remember what everyone said and what you want to reply to and say back, some of us older folk don't have as a good of a memory or don't want to have to take notes just to reply. What can I say? Ya hit 45 and it's all down hill from there! I personally do try to trim my quotes so that they aren't super long and I'm just quoting the bit I want to reply to. I think that's a decent compromise! I won't clutter up your threads too much though--I'm primarily a lurker!

As for flabby/sagging skin etc. I DID experience a bit of that in the last days and into P3 in all my rounds. I found that a proper P3 and P4 was SUPER helpful in tightening up the skin. A lot of people (myself included) are tempted to go past the 40 days recommended by Dr. S but I think that is a mistake in many cases, and not just because of potentially developing immunity. It really really is true that fat moves around and you keep reshaping. I am 4 pounds heavier but a full pants size smaller than I was at the end of my third round in January. P3 is really the critical piece to the tightening and reshaping. I also did exercise through all my rounds. Not intensely, but I kept up some daily cardio and weekly yoga, which I continue today. I've recently picked some limited weights again, which seems to be going pretty well too.

@losingwithhcg I use the Intermountain drops which I had stocked up when netrition sold it. I take 10 drops 3x a day. My round ends next Fri. I do have 1 bottle left for my Jan. round (thinking of maybe trying to get to 120). Next time will try the pellets. My friend raves about them & she got them directly through Intermountain's website.

My weight was up 2.0 lbs 182.0 today. But I caved in and had peanut butter last night.

I'm so sorry ... but I still eat when I'm feeling very sad ... Am I ever going to change that!?! I wish I were like those people that when they are sad, worried, anxious, angry, etc ... they just can't eat anything.

Shanan, you're doing great, my girl ... WOOHOO 178.5 WOW!!! CONGRATULATIONS! Now I need to hurry up and catch up with you ... wait for me ...

Shelby, you are so sweet! I'm not that young ... 56 over here. But I'll share my secret with you of how I remember who said what: I open a parallel second window and in one I reply and on the other I scroll down and read all the posts

I'll finish this round and then I'll be going to the gym and hiring a personal trainer on the first of the year and see if I can tighten up my skin a little. I don't exercise much, but I walk my dogs every day and do Meditation. I also love Yoga. I don't like the jumping up and down of the aerobics.

Pandora174, you look so serene, so peaceful! I'm very proud of your accomplishments. You're such a great asset to be here with us!

LosingwithHCG, I also take HCG 10 drops 3 times a day and I payed 200 for the 45 days (2 bottles). I'm so afraid of buy the false stuff and lose lean mass (muscles). There are many cheap things out there that I don't trust. May I ask how much did you pay for yours!?!

Jeanyyy, how are you doing over there!?! Have you got any relief yet!?!

Chanel, we can have lean beef (96 or 97% fat free). I use the Taco seasoning and mix it with chopped cilantro and it's so yummy! You're using Powdered Mustard, right?!? Regular mustard has oil and it's not allowed. Your chicken tenderloins you weigh them right!?! (100 grs or 3.5 oz raw). Also, your cucumber sticks are the fresh ones, not pickles right!?! Just double checking.

I'm having a early Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow night for some of my girlfriends, and am planning to eat a little off the program. I will not go crazy, but will have more than allowed on the program. I'll jump right back on program after that. Promise!

Keep drinking your water, ladies!

Good night!

~Angie

Good morning -
All is good for me at the moment. Still on plan had a bit more protein yesterday as I started to feel very hungry. Probably because I didn't get enough water in.

The weekends are the hardest part for me. I need to stay focused and plan around my activities NOT cave in.
Im looking forward to weighing in tomorrow am. So far my frame of mind has been good by not weighing daily. To help stay on plan over the weekend. I will weigh Saturday and again Monday.

HEALTHY- to make apple chips .Core and slice an apple into thin slices sprinkle with cinnamon bake for 2hours at 200 on a metal rack. Vent oven doors with a wooden spoon to help the apples dry out and get crisp they are so good and help when I'm craving a dry crunch like pretzels.
Has anyone tried drinking the sugar calorie free seltzer ? I'd like to try some as the favors seem interesting.

What's your plan t to stay on track over the weekend? Please share.

Off to a clothing food drive for Sandy relief. The need is still so great and some folks are forgetting once thier life goes back to normal there are many who have nothing.

I Need to advertise the next drive..I'm thinking of calling it a sock drive and saying Sock it to SAndy. New socks in any size needed.

What do you think?

ENJOY YOUR DAY.

@sweet good for you that's the right frame of mind. What happens to me is the social part of the weekend. Im fine if I'm home. Tonight we have a high school football game - my plan is to eat lunch late and have an apple at the game. Tomorrow is another story. I will be with my mom and grandmother and they are always feeding me.....they treat me like a child and say "you need to finish your lunch before we can leave the house". I know they mean well but I'm 46 years old.

I will be with them all day. I plan to say I've already had my breakfast. Lunch with be an issue. We will be at an event for dinner so I can handle that, they won't see what I eat or don't eat.

Sharing this plan with them is not an option.

I will be strong and stay as close to plan as I can.

You have done great. Keep it up.

I checked every container of mustard I have and not a single one has oil, just vinegar, water, and spices. Which ones have oil? I have Dijon and regular yellow. I must admit after being around here a long time, this is the first I've ever heard to not use mustard.

Also, my dill pickles just have vinegar and cucumbers and salt/spices (no sugar). Sure doesn't seem off plan to me.

Morning Ladies ! R3P2D36 & down -.02 to 133.0. Any loss in my book is a good loss. Now that being said I know I didn't have 100 oz of water yesterday perhaps 80 I"ll be vigilant today & drink my water. So far so good. One more week to lose these darn 3 lbs & then P3 here I come.

So far I have decided to do another round after the holidays & my vacation (which I might choose to load) and try to get to 120. But haven't said that out loud or to anyone until today. Most people would think I'm crazy but at 5'4 & a small frame I think I can pull it off. Specially considering I want to tone & tighten up. So after I stabilize in P3 starting a light work out & then after my round in Jan want to seriously work out to tighten the loose skin. Not too bad considering all I've lost but I really need to do something about my legs & butt !

@Bee: that slogan sounds great! Very creative. I drink sparkling water. They have different flavors like orange, lemon and lime. Helps make me feel very full from the carbonation.

Phase 4, so slowly adding starches. I'm ok with rice and potatoes but still have issues with wheat.

Both the mustard and the pickles should be ok as long as they don't have sugar or starches. Some people might have issues with the sodium content of the pickles.

No loss yesterday, but down 1.4 this morning. That's a total of 14.2 pounds (including load weight) on VLCD12. Very pleased with the release.

Chanel - I eat beef every single dinner meal for my entire round. I have never found it to inhibit my weight loss. I have tried eating other things like tilapia or shrimp for dinner, but it didn't seem to make a difference. For me simplicity is best on P2. I don't want to be in the kitchen. I have chicken every day for lunch and P2 chili for every day for dinner. Boring I know but it works for me. You might give beef a try if you like it. It might work for you.

Great losses everyone. Hang in there and stay the course.

Morning Ladies !! R3P2D37 & down -.02 to 132.8 !! Feels great & I really think that PI recharged by batteries. This has been my best round so far. I'm not talking #'s but in how I feel. I have tons of energy, very happy & positive, I'm seeing a lot of reshaping overall a feeling of well being.

So I'm going to put out there what's been rolling around my head so ya'll can tell me what you think I'm planning on ending this round next Friday & go to
P3. I've noticed that thanks to this diet as my rounds go forward each one my relationship to food changes. When I used to get excited about pizza & cake I now can get just as excited when I have my chicken tenderloins with spicy mustard (no sugar lol) & cucumber salad That being said in my PI I never binged what I gained was purely from alcohol. And now I have no desire to repeat that & I realized that it wasn't as fun as before. So next vacation no alcohol.

Soooo to get to my point. I was planning on after my vacation to do another round for shaping & to get to 120. But being that I am so close to goal I've been kicking around in my head to extend this round another 2 weeks & see what happens. I'm on hHCG so I'm not worried about tolerance... Am I crazy to think about this ? I'm thinking the difference is another round, loading & then P2 & worried I'm not going to be in the frame of mind I am in now. I feel like I need to take advantage of it kwim ?

Also for me Thanksgiving is not such a big deal food wise (which is a total change) & I really am not craving anything. I just want to cook for my family & then put up our tree If I do this I'll just go rogue and have turkey as my protein & salad for that day. I could change my mind next week who knows but for the last couple of days the thought has been going round & round in my head.

Please thoughts ? Support ? Kick in the pants ? Am I crazy or not ? also I did check with my Dr & got a clean bill of health. She said that with my height 5'4 & small frame 120 would be still a normal healthy BMI.

@Mommy OAM - the coconut is AWESOME! Add a little liquid sweetener, a little pineapple flavor extract, and you have a real treat! Its also good with a squeeze of orange or lemon...
