Have I eaten enough?
Hello everyone- this is my very first time starting HCG. I have the drops (homeopathic, thats all that is available in Australia) Today is my second day of "loading" and normally I would eat a lot more- but I have been on my own VLCD for the last 10 days and my stomach must have shrunk- because I can't eat as much and I am no longer craving junk food like I used to eat late at night. (which is great but hard with the loading)
Anyway, I started with having whatever was convenient to me and that included half a bread roll filled with lettuce, ham tomato and mayo. For dinner I had some pizza, some pasta with a meat sauce(i figured i might as well eat pasta since i'll need to say goodbye to it for a little while) some squid and for dessert creme caramel. Today I have eaten 2 danish pastries a couple of handful of nuts and a huge bowl of pasta with Bolognese. Is that enough? I feel so stuffed!!! I do not want to jeopardise my chances of succeeding. Should I continue to load for another day? or just start 500 calories tomorrow? Thank you for taking the time to read this! |

I had some tiramisu last night, which I know is high in fat. I have started my first day of low calorie today. I weighed myself this morning and after 2 days of loading I have not put on any weight- is that normal?

I would load for a third day with as much fat as you can muster. It's hard to stuff yourself because the hcg is already taking away your hunger, but it will be worth it to help you not be hungry in the first week or so.
Add butter or coconut oil to things. Eat some eggs, heavy cream, etc. |

Dr S says that if you are on a very low calorie diet or some other type of diet prior to doing the hcg protocol, you can do more than the 2 load days. You won't do any harm. How do you feel today? Hungry much? If not, then continue on the VLCDs. If you are very hungry, then load away tonight. Go by how you feel.
