Robin W.'s BEST WLA video yet!!!
I identified so very, very much with what she and this woman are discussing in this video, especially:
=the "guilt" I feel over restricting my food/alcohol intake and not indulging with my boyfriend on the weekends. This is ALL on ME. He does NOT make me feel guilty. = Using the protocol as an excuse to be able to eat excessively but remain thin. In other words, eating w/ abandon when I want because in the back of my mind I always have the protocol to "come back to." It's really actually a very sad, exhausting diet rollercoaster I've put myself on these past 2 years. Thanks! This is a good one!! The fact that her patient has done repeat and failed rounds, combined with regaining the lost weight WHILE BEING ROBIN'S PATIENT, is both sad and encouraging!!
She "continued overconsuming" because "she was travelling, etc". This is a HUGE problem for me. How do you live life while watching constantly? I can't just have "a little bit" and be ok. I need to stay LC while I'm watching portions too. I can't rely on hunger as even when I'm eating "to hunger" or even a little under, I can gain. Sigh. It's going to be a lifelong battle. As Robin puts it "get off the crazy train". You have to CONSTANTLY stay vigilant. There is no slacking off, resting and just eating "normally". What I've learned and observed is that to maintain our losses, we need to always pay attention!! It's kinda' exhausting, but so much better than the vicious cycle of regaining then relosing. I'm hopeful I'll be able to live life (with many upcoming holidays and trips) and still maintain. Remains to be seen. ![]()
