Just fyi, on the milk thing, directly from P&I...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Diet The 500 Calorie diet is explained on the day of the second dose to those patients who will be preparing their own food, and it is most important that the person who will actually cook is present - the wife, the mother or the cook, as the case may be. Here in Italy patients are given the following diet sheet. Breakfast:Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or other sweeteners may be used. Lunch: Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. S 1. 100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed raw from the bird. 2. One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage. 3. One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast. 4. An apple or an orange or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit. Dinner : The same four choices as lunch. The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, majoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing. Tea, coffee, plain water, or mineral water are the only drinks allowed, but they may be taken in any quantity and at all times.
Well today was day 40 for me, I am wondering if I mixed my HCG wrong, cause I still have a ton left and Im thinking the bottle should be empty or close to it
Im gonna stay on it until a few days before Thanksgiving and then I have decided I am going to go on low carb till after the first of the year, I have a vacation planned in December, plus the holidays, I dont want to try and stick to protocal, it would be way to hard. I have a trip to Hawaii planned in June, so as long as I reach my goal by then I will be a happy girl!!Glad to see your doing so well Barb! I will prob never make it in a size 6 ,but I am ok with that, I would be happy with an 8 or even 10 lol. Kelly |
Yea Kelly! Anything is possible. You can do it!!
Barb - It's kinda funny, but when I get to 140s I dread having to spend more $$ on pants!! I am at 157 today and my 8s are loose. I have to parties this weekend, a housewarming and baby shower. Drinking water ONLY! |
170s here I come!! I hope to see them by the end of next week. Getting into my size 12s would be really nice Kelly |
Woo Hoo Sas
Congrats !!Ok I posted this on the other thread so here goes ! I'm still 89.9 % sure I'll be ending my round next Friday. BUT I had already decided after vacation to do another round & get to 120ish (I'm 5'4 small frame). So I started not looking forward to the loading part & that it was feeling almost like a justification to cheat kwim. SO that being said this has been the best round for me (mind wise) I am so upbeat & feeling so positive & focused on diet & health I keep kicking around in my head to just extend the round another 2 weeks & just see what happens. Not look for a specific number (though 125 would be awesome). I'm on hHCG so not worried about tolerance & I've read about people extending their rounds sooo.. That way I could be in P3/P4 for Christmas & vacation & no extra round in Jan. Just focus on exercise which I want to get the P90 for Christmas & start an exercise program. As to Thanksgiving I'm not craving anything & I'll just be rogue that day & have turkey & salad for my 2 meals. All I want is to cook for my family & buy our Christmas tree. I'm noticing as the rounds come & go my relationship with food keeps changing & I have almost none of the old cravings. OK thoughts please ![]() Last edited by pandora174; 11-10-2012 at 09:33 AM.. |
Hey everyone, I still have to catch up on all of your posts but I'm just dropping in real quick to let you know how I'm doing.
This is the last day of my 12 day PI. I have to check my weight in the am, but I think I'm up about 9 lbs. I'm not really discouraged because its about what I expected and it was so worth it. I'll be back on protocol tomorrow until Nov 28th then another PI because I'm going on a 7 day cruise Dec 1st. I know these things are totally screwing up my protocol and causing me to yoyo. That will be my last vacation for a while and I can officially get back on track after the cruise. |
Morning Ladies ! R3P2D39 & up +.02 to 131.6. I had a feeling since I've had 7consecutive days with losses but not too bad considering. I've decided to extend my round another 2 weeks until I get to whatever number I get too. Not stressing on 125 or 120. Whatever the number is I'll be happy !
For now since I'm basically at goal I'm sticking to protocol but adding back in exercise gradually. I did some kettle bell exercise yesterday which I loved ![]() Not to overeat but I have a plan which I hope won't back fire. I'm having a lunch Thanksgiving meal. So breakfast will be strawberries while I cook. Then turkey breast, 2 spoonfuls of casserole (not sure but probably corn), small serving of salad with acv dressing & 2 spoonfuls of pie. Treating myself to Coke Zero. After the meal taking everyone for a walk around the park & then back to the house. Dinner will likely be an apple and maybe another 3 or 4 oz of turkey breast (I've tried turkey breast & not gained so not too worried there). Hope I don't do too much damage but I'll be back on protocol the very next day & thought I'd share a little with my family on this day & since I'll have been cooking for 2 days in a row. Happy Monday ladies ! Hopefully tomorrow I will be one step closer to 130 ![]() |
Down 1.2# this morning, bringing my weight to 192! I may actually make to 180's by the end of my round. That would be super-cool.
Pandora - You are such an inspiration. Your Thanksgiving meal plan looks like a winner. I will be on P3 for Thanksgiving but I am planning carefully. P2 is really hard. The hardest diet I ever been on, but learning to keep it off is the really hard part. Every round of P3 I learn more and more about what my body can tolerate without gaining. In a way, I find my new normal and how to maintain it. Anyway, I appreciate your posts. Keep up the hard work. |
Thanks timsbeloved that is so sweet ! I originally was going to just stick
100 % on Thanksgiving but I'll be cooking & darn I want to try my corn casserole & pie so the 2 spoonful rule should be good specially considering I'm past my 40 days ! I realize I sometimes have to give myself a little pass and not be so hard on myself. I already told my husband & son to prepare for a long walk to & from the park afterwards. I just heard my husband mumbling under his breath but I told him if he wants seconds he needs to do it ![]() Today is R3P2D41 & up +.02 to 131.6 but yesterday TOM came & it is pretty bad. So that explains my last 3 days of same gain/loss. Hopefully once it's gone I'll start to lose again. ![]() |
Yup!! You have to measure out your portion of it though, just like your meat. Dr S says we can have 100 grams in weight of the cottage cheese. I use 2% and love it!!! It has saved my sanity on P2 numerous times. Enjoy!!!
Haven't posted in 2 days. I hate TOM it has set meback 1 week in losses
yesterday I was up +.08 to 132.4 & today since it's almost gone but not quite I lost -.04 to 132.0. can't wait for the weekend. Nothing is more frustrating that being on P2 and sticking to protocol & not losing ! Oh well here's to a nice whoosh. Happy friday !! |
Hi everyone
![]() This is last dose day for me...and I weighed in at 176.0...only 1 pound away But, I am gonna to use tomorrow's weight as my final goal weight. I have decided to FF today, Saturday & Sunday. So hopefully I can squeeze 1 more pound out of that. My ultimate plan is to maintain through the holidays at 180 or below, giving me 5 lbs. which I hope & pray I don't need. I had a hard time last night staying on program, picked at green beans & sweet potatoes...just mental, I guess...we've been pretty grumpy with each other, and I hate that as we hardly ever fight, we are so good for each other normally...been stressing over hubby's new job...it is really a "sucky" job, which he will finally get a first paycheck today for 1 1/2 days...but it's just for another 3-4 weeks when this semester of school is over...then he can apply at an HVAC company...no more school schedules to work around. Anyhoo...have a wonderful weekend all!!!
Good Morning everyone,
I was down a couple more pounds this morning, woohoo, getting close to the 170s which I am hoping to reach before Thanksgiving. Gonna give myself 1 cheat meal, which I know will set me back, but Im past my 40 days anyway. Im really happy with my results thus far. Down a total of 27 pds and I am down 2 pants sizes, gonna have to go clothes shopping before too long Anyway, sounds like everyone is doing great, I know next week will be hard for many of us with all the yummy food that will be present! Stay strong for those of you who are not planning a cheat. Kelly |
