Last night the BF's parents came to stay with us. They live in New Jersey and lost power with the hurricane. No ETA on when it may be back on. They are in thier 80's. They were so happy to be somewhere warm and have a hot meal. Unfortunatley that meal was at a resturant. I had a martini and glass of red wine. I am up 1.4 today. I learned my lessons and getting back up on the horse today. Already made my eating plan for the day that I will work around feeding the BF and his parents.

Meant to post at the beginning of the week when I started this round, but better late than never, LOL. This is R4 for me, VLCD4. Still haven't lost my load weight yet, but its coming. I stabilized really well in round 3. I planned to do my next round after Christmas, but I stabilized so well in round 3 I just could wait. I am only doing a 23 day round this time as opposed to the 42 day rounds like the first 3. I want to be on P3 for Thanksgiving and vacation. It's great to see new faces.

Im making P2 chili tonight and also a meatloaf and some more baked tilapia. I find that I do much better if I have the food already prepared and can divide it up into individual containers for portion control and it makes it easy to grab for my work lunches and what not!

Morning ! VLCD29 & down -1.8 to 138.8 which means I am at the weight I was on my last drops before my PI
Also I think the hHCG has kicked in because yesterday around lunch time I felt my mood improve dramatically which only happens when I'm on the drops. This morning I did wake up headachey. I was reading again the P3 ebook & the P3 posts on this forum to try & decide how I am going to eat. I think I'm going to try to the ebook version of P3 version this round & see what happens. Very easy on the dairy, 2 big veggies, 2 fruits & 2 protein portions 5 to 7 oz. and I can have my greek yogurt. I really like the P2 way of eating so this feels like less stress as it's more structured. For me (my personal experience) when I ate all the old way tons of fat & protein & low carb my IBS flared up. So sticking to protocol and the next 11 days to see how close I am to goal weight. Happy Releases & Happy Friday ![]() |

I'm lurking ladies! Congrats on those who continue to shed the fat! Friend of the family is very ill so I haven't been upbeat to post. I am doing another weekend challenge. I'm up a lb to 157, but will be 155 by Monday. Sad to admit but I got into a little of the candy Wed night.
Catch up with you all tomorrow morning! |

HI Everyone,
Been kinda bummed out this week, havent lost anything but the few pds I gained from the party last weekend, just goes to show that a cheat sets you back at least a week, SO not worth it ![]() Im having a chill weekend, just renting movies and hanging out, gonna stick to protocol and hopefully can get some more of this weight off! I have decieded I am going to keep doings the shots till the end of this year and then go off them and do low carb/working out after that, I should be at or near goal by then if I can quite cheating ![]() I hope everyone has a great weekend!! Hey all.. Down one more today.. still up one from last week's low weight.
I seem to be having a hard time this round... skipping my evening apple and having wine instead. I usually only do this when I go out to dinner with friends... I eat nothing all day, then have a 7 oz steak with asparagus and wine. Shame on me...Better get back to the apple! |

![]() Sorry it took so long to get back to ya!!!! Yep, I will be going to Dr. Quiroz who is located just inside of Tijuana. He has a gorgeous medical facility (which looks kinda weird among the city...kinda high-tech.) His facility is named Cosmed if you're interested in doing a search. He actually practices in Escondido near San Diego, but the costs are almost half if you cross the border. There is a "recovery house" in which you can stay at 4-5 days after the procedures for monitoring, and has a full-time nurse there 24/7.

Happy Friday Ladies!
I am off to a retreat this weekend that I am working at. I packed my breakfast, lunch and dinners and am PLANNING on staying on plan. Will report in on Monday am. I am proud to say I stayed on plan with no halloween candy. Haven't weighed as I am trying to gauge hunger instead of being obsessed with the scale. Jeans are loose and will officially weigh on Monday. Hope you all have an on plan weekend. |

soon I'm sure others will have advice. From my personal experience attending my son's multiple food involved school fairs & today a birthday party at Chuckee Cheese
etc. I try to eat before so I'm not tempted or starving & make poor choices. At my son's last fair I knew beforehand the menus. They were having a conch ceviche so I planned on having that for my lunch. At this b-day party I know it's cake and pizza so I'm eating my lunch before. I usually grab a water so I have something to drink and enjoy the event. On occasion & this is just me & it doesn't affect my weight but if the smells are overwhelming like at my son's school food truck festival last April (yes food trucks galore ) I had a Coke Zero and it felt like a treat to me and helped me not to cheat. I did find they had chicken grilled and I was able to eat that. I told them to make it plain. But for ex. at his school's end of year festival in June there was NOTHING on protocol so I made sure I had my lunch & snack before I got there & had a Diet Coke. It's not easy & there are those that are like "oh you're not eating" I always politely decline and say I'm dieting but thank you. Don't let anyone push you into making poor choices (unless you want to ) Good luck ! It's a learning process with lots of mistakes but when I'm on protocol I keep my goal in mind & a cheat is not worth all the hard work & then the days it takes to get back on track to me are not worth it ! But that's just my opinion. You have to do what's right for you. ![]() |

P2R3D30 & initially I was down 1.4 to 137.4 and then for God knows what reason I stepped on the scale 10 min later (nothing in my system) again & the scale read 138.2 which would be -.06. So I'll probably choose the smaller loss just in case tomorrow the scale is not kind. But anyway a loss is a loss. I can smell 135

Down 0.9 lbs today (thanks to SM tea lol )... 17.3 lost as of Day 31 !!
soon, if it's a potluck, can you not bring a veggie plate or big bowl of salad? Then carry your protein already cooked and cut up and discretely put it on top of a nice salad? Just a thought.... Last edited by Jeanyyy; 11-03-2012 at 10:50 AM.. |

What do ya'll think ? My friend at work who also is going hHCG with me is in
P3. She is rogue where I tend to be a protocol kind of gal. Anyway whatever she does seems to work for her. She just did her first round & is going to Weight Watchers with her husband & is still losing on P3. She's losing about 2 to 3 lbs a week. She doesn't count calories but points but told me eats about 1000 calories a day or less. When she gets to her goal they increase her "points". I'm not really familiar with WW but she is doing P3 foods but with the WW point system. A part of me is thinking this would be a nice way to keep losing after this round. Another part is too chicken to even try it because I would be scared with my luck to gain weight ![]() Anyone heard of someone doing what my friend is doing ? |

I finally found you ladies again ... had lost this thread and lost control on my food program ... So, I'm restarting today. VLCD#1 @190.0 I'm feeling so bloated ... Definitely NOT worth it cheating
It seems like most of you ladies are at goal weight or almost there. And since I didn't know how to find you guys again, I started a new thread for November: November/12 Phase2: Right Frame Of Mind! All are Welcome! If anyone of you would like to join me, I'd love to see you guys over there! I know I have a long way to go, but it's going to be one step at a time. So, I'll see you all soon! heahyou00 how do you make P2 Chili!?! Would you like to share your recipe!?! Sas, hope your family's friend is doing better today. Pandora, you're almost there ... the last few pounds for you, huh!?! I'm so happy for you! Keep going! They say these are the most difficult ones to release ... but hang tight ... in no time you'll be there! Jeanyyy, what is SM tea!?! walkingwoman, whenever you ready, come back to us!? We'll miss you! Crazy PreK Teacher, what procedure are you having done, if I may ask!?! helpingrachel, you are doing so good! I want to be near you, maybe it will rub off on me too! Have a wonderful and resting retreat this weekend! Congratulations to all the losers in here ... you guys are doing great! Question: Why some people post pictures of foods we should not be eating right now!?! I guess they are on a different Phase of the program or on a different plan all together ... I just don't get it. ![]() Anyway, have a nice weekend everybody! And remember, it's daylight saving time (1 Hour back tonight)! I love that extra hour of sleep ... Good night ladies! |

I actually need several procedures...total lower body lift, thigh liposuction-then thigh lift, breast augmentation, batwing removal, and excess skin removal of skin underarm near ribcage...BUT just having total lower body lift for now... DR. estimates 30-35 lbs. of excess skin...here lately tho...I seem to be losing well in the thick areas & I think it may be less. |

R3PD31 & down 1.8 to 136.4 which is the lowest I've been since dieting !! I usually don't have such big drops back to back so the only thing I did differently is I drank ALOT of water yesterday about 100 oz so going to keep that up
![]() This past weekend I fit into size 29 or 7 jeans & I'm buying size Small tops that are a little lose I went to a b-day party for some friend's little girl yesterday & the parents didn't recognize me. Everything is shrinking. I had to go back to my optometrist because my glasses kept sliding off my face & he had to tighten them (though the jerk told me to go eat a sandwich when I explained what happened but I was in such a good mood I smiled & told him "no, thank you"). Happy Sunday & Happy Releases !! |
