Stevie I hope the coconut oil works for you. It is not my friend. I tried it several times and gained weight each time. At first I thought the high fat way was not for me so I tried it with just butter and the weight went down.

I think we were on the hcg drops together year before last. I posted alot here and on Biz web site. She was my coach for quite some time. She is great!

Good morning Terri & Mary.
I decided to add coconut oil today & tomorrow and then next week, unsalted Kerry butter. Just to be safe. I use coconut oil in my coffee sometimes.

I have not drank for 3 weeks so I am welcoming it today! hahaha. Actually, I am kind of an odd ball. I prefer to drink in the afternoon and stop by 6:00 so I can sleep and cut off my foods.

I meant to try on my next goal jeans - I can get them on but they are too tight too wear in public. I hope to take them to Germany.

Are you ladies going to eat veggies? I did read that Kale is a good keto vegetable. I may if I see it on sale.

Today I will shop for HWC and avocado.

Mary,
yes, we both have been coached by Biz. I actually use my notes/binder to remind me of all the things I have learned. Her knowledge is very valuable. I love how she said our lives should fit around the HCG protocol, not the other way around. Because let's face it, there will always be "something" that comes up. I am still on her site as I have some dear cyber friends there. She is also "clean fat friendly". I guess in the end, I am looking at the next 2 weeks as a reshaping round with the goal of inch loss. I am also going to use the hunger scale. I will target 57 grams of protein on non weight lifting days and feel free to double that on lifting days. I would still use her for a coach but I have to save for this big trip a broad ( my DD is due with our first grandchild 11-20 in Germany).

Because tonight is date night ( filet, mushrooms, red wine) I am trying to intermit fast till we eat.

Today I hope to power walk 2 miles. No weights today.

PS: I now do RX at .125

This makes me feel better. I've tried, and tried to add CO to my diet. I love all the benefits. But, every time I do, I gain or at least stall in trying to lose. I was beginning to think I was crazy!! Added it to my BP coffee all this week and was beginning to wonder if the high fat wasn't gonna' work for me. I'm droping the CO today and hoping for the best. Thanks for sharing your experience and encouraging me .

Chantel-you're still P2ing? How was your visit w. your family? I'm sure you had a blast and your trip is coming up soon. You'll look great in Germany!

Good luck ladies!! You can do it!!

Morning Ladies,
Well even with the couple drinks I was able to keep it to 1553 calories. The alcohol total messed with my macros though. 73F, 16P, 3C, 9A. I was however rewarded with a 2.2 pound whoosh though, so loading weight gone. Now to focus on lose. I love the "our lives should fit around the HCG protocol, not the other way around" quote. I'm going to use that!

I eat veggies. Usually salads with green onions & tomato, sometimes broccoli & cauliflower, but usually something.

Hope everyone enjoys their Saturday night!

Hi!
Well after we all started early Sept, I ended up jumping ship with DD here. It was so amazing. I actually got to see her pregnant which I never thought would happen her being so far away. After the baby shower, I started again and finally had a momentum going. I am back into my size 6's and want to try and get a handful if inches off to wear 1 pair of lonely size 4 Levis. We shall see. Those suckers are still TIGHT! haha...so this will be very interesting how I do. One of my cyber friends appears to be doing this and is losing inches like crazy but the scale is not really budging.

Welcome back from MX! Bless you dear Julie.

Yeah, dang I didn’t think about measuring until after breakfast. Tomorrow.

I think the big difference in attitude for me Mary, is although I’m still in the same size, last year my thought was “if I keep this up, I’ll need to start looking for smaller sizes”. This year it’s “if I kept this up, I’ll have to pull out my larger sizes”.

Hey Julie

Oh My the BP coffee. That is what started me down this trail and I gained every time I tried it. With all the great info about coconut oil, I just tried having it alone and darn if I didn't gain. I worried that my metabolizm was messed up because the calories were pretty low and all the info says coconut oil will make a person lose. I finally googled it to see if other folks had this problem and some do. I wonder if it is some sort of auto immune response?????

Hey Julie
I feel the same way. Some of the smaller clothes I bought last fall are a little snug and I don't want to buy new ones. Last fall I hadn't been on the drops since April, I think and the weight was staying off but again I think there have been more eating and drinking events in my life.

Biz is so full of knowledge and I also love the lives fitting around hcg. You are right there is always something that comes up. I am going to measure on Thurs morning and keep track. I have a luncheon once a month that always has a great deal of carbs but it is not a place the I can take something or not eat so I am going to have to start the drops on that day.

This is going to be a reshaping round for me also and it's exciting. Glad we are doing this as a group. Lots of fun to compare results.

I promise to consolidate my posts next time.

Ack! I am terrible at consolidating posts Mary! hahah

So let us all measure, shall we? Biz said that anyone who has less then 25, to eat clean fats on protocol. So that is encouraging.

Something about CO...My HDL went up (AWESOME!) and my LDL did too ( hmmm, not so awesome due to ignorant doctor and fluffy LDL particle size. CO always increases my LDL higher...and that is a struggle for most docs)

DH cooking us steak right now. Have had a lovely day with him. He has worked 15 days straight so it is nice to hang out with him finally.

Mary,
drinking events this summer were a huge downfall for me. I tend to eat carbage. Yep, not happy to say that but I do terrible.

today I did something different. I had some GY and berries, drank some wine and well, not snacking!!! Wow! What happened here? Even husband commented on it and said he was happy! That means we can drink again together?lol....
Some times I say "No drinks...makes me eat bad"...and he gets a sad face. hahaha

Sad faces here too. Only need to have one drink and then everyone has a happy face. Hmm GY and berries, might start a new trend.

Thanks all. Cannot believe my "baby" is going to be a mommy.

Mary,
9 years old! What a wonderful age.

Well, date night was fun. Now to get back to it. We do have that party tonight but since it is on a Sunday, its not tempting for me. I have to teach my DS in the morning and work out.

Off to ****** to figure out how to manage my meals.

Terri,
down .70 is a wonderful start!

Do you buy pesto or make it? And are you making your HWC for the jello?

How do you get your protein up to 60? Has it been difficult?

I'm a working girl. So if I can find good store bought stuff to make things faster and easier I do. Don't ask me about my homemade mayonnaise debacle So store bought pesto, but I check the labels for the highest fat, they do vary quite a bit. And my SF Whip in a can is sometimes my closest friend and not necessarily the most wholesome, but a vice I allow myself and try to contain at the same time.

Actually keeping my protein down is my challenge. But I have found that less and less satisfies, especially the fattier cuts. I.e. on my tri-tip salad I only had 1.8 oz of tri-tip and chicken wings are the fattiest chicken.

We are the same height but I am 65.

I will be looking at your menus for sure. The protein issue is hard for me, also. Love it.

The cream cheese muffins were the ones you and Stevie discussed earlier in this thread. We loved them.

Little bump up for me this morning. Weekends are always the toughest as we love to travel and no matter how great my choices, it's never as good as I make at home and know all the ingredients. Plus a few extra carbs and a couple classes of wine, well you know. I'll skip the menu today, certainly nothing to write home about.

I did take my measurements, Yay! I'll post those and goals later.

I hope everyone has a very successful week!

Hi girls,
well I went to the Halloween party and only had cheese & water. So yesterday was my first start of it all. I also ordered a blood/ketone meter, we shall see if I get the free one. I will create a log to test my ketones once I figure it all out.

Calories: 1129
Pro:60.2
Carbs:25
Fat:86

Today my carbs will be lower because I finished the GY.

Will report food tomorrow vs what I plan today.

Off to the gym for a weight work out, cross/circuit training.

Yeah I ordered the meter also a couple weeks ago. Some people get it right away; some people have had to wait six weeks. I suspect I'll be the later since I answered truthfully about not having diabetes, etc.

Your numbers look awesome! WTG!

Nice job Jeanyyy!

1431 calories, 78% fat, 18% protein, 3% carbs

Well I have another bump today. Often I have a two day stall/bump after wine. So I'm caulking it up to that and I know I need to get my fat up. So I'm going to make my cream cheese muffins tonight and do a little more menu planning.

A funny thought occurred to me. If my stall persists maybe I'll do a couple protocol days to break it.
