JUDDD...maybe a modified program?

JUDDD does appeal to me after I reach goal...Simeons protocol every other day(I'm weird...I enjoy Simeons' menu)...but what program to use for UD's. I feel like I would be eat everything wrong those days. Has anyone tried doing FF's on UD's, and Simeons' on DD's?

But then those yummy low carb treats...rib-eyes, cheeses, salad dressing, avocados, veggies, butter, PB, almond butter, low carb bread, etc. really wouldn't fit in somewhere. I really LOVE my low carb stuff when I'm doing 100% low carb...but after HCG...I don't think it is do-able...

Maybe this would work:

UD=FF (1000 cal.)
DD=Simeons' menu (500 cal.)
UD=low carb (1800 cal.)
DD=Simeons' menu
UD=FF
DD=Simeons' menu
UD=low carb

So...3-in-1 program. Too complicated? Not good? Anyone wanna try?

Let me know what you think, please? The good & bad!!!!

I posted a response in the other thread. But I think you need to understand that when you do JUDDD for life--or P4--you are maintaining. Your goal will NOT be weight loss. Therefore you will have more leeway with your calories. You adjust them to where you maintain your weight and no longer lose. You can certainly do low carb on your JUDDD program. But I would think the FF would be too restrictive on the UDs. You can choose to do the FF on a day or so a week, but enjoy all the low carb foods you can in P4 AND in JUDDD!

I would use JUDDD when I finally reach goal. I would not use it to lose more...it's HCG for me all the way to goal!!!

BUT...your suggestion of a FF on one day sounds great!!! See...that's what I need you guys for

It just seems 100% low carb causes gains for many people after HCG...just like what you're experiencing. But, low carb UD's & DD's may be the trick. Did you try JUDDD this way? Can't remember...

Now remember that this is only my 3rd day of P3 Give me a chance here I know that the first week of P3 can be tricky. So I am not freaking out yet. Next week, maybe I think that once you reach 3 weeks on P3 and start on p4 you CAN introduce starches/sugar on the UDs. On the DDs you can stick to the protocol 500 calories, because it is soooo easy now that we have done hcg for so long. That way any gains you have on the UDs can be taken care of on the DDs

When I did JUDDD I did it non-low carb. On the UDs I ate whatever I fancied. And I fancied a lot of sweets but the DDs took care of any gains I had because I ate very lightly on those days. I think it is a wonderful plan if you want to live life You can go out to eat with your family at a restaurant, you can go to a barbeque or a party and enjoy food. Imagine that

Oh sorry...I wasn't chastising you I know you were following by the book.
HECK...I'm usually up on my first day after P3 starts. I guess that was the point I was trying to make...the first week or so is soooo crazy That's where the CD's come in to control it I wasn't clear (hadn't really thought of it yet)...but I gather JUDDD would be better after P3...more for P4 & life-long living...that way CD's are used to correct fluctuations during P3 & set-point cements in.

Oh, no that is not how I took it at all. But I cannot believe I am doing a CD so soon. I usually don't need to do that. I had a feeling I would be up, not sure why but just a "feeling". I am hoping to not have to hop back to P2 next week, but we will see. I might just hop over to JUDDD instead to see if that tames the CDs to nil. You can do JUDDD in P3 as Marie did. I would just prefer NOT to count calories in P3 after coming off a P2. That part sucks!!!! But it is soooo doable and would take your mind off that danged scale.

I think any plan where you eat less than 500 calories at least 2 days a week is considered intermittent fasting. It would likely control the UPs to a certain extent. I eat LC almost all the time because that is my preference. A bite or two of something carby one time a week or whatever is about all. I am going pretty much grain free except I reserve my right to eat popcorn at the movies!

Dana Carpender has some great info about doing the fat fast. Just google her and fat fast and hcg. She has a few interesting articles and I signed up to get her fat fast recipes too. She said she would like to fat fast a few times per month. Even perhaps Monday through Weds and the rest of the week do just low carb. There are so many things to do post hcg to keep the weight off. Should be interesting to see what all everyone chooses.

In fact I may do a fat fast this week myself. Just going to see how my correction day today goes. I will see on the scale in the morning if my favorite CD worked. I love the shake days! If not, I can try the fat fast and see if I can drop some pounds before getting out of hand with my weight.

CrazyPKteacher, as someone who has now done both JUDDD and P2 Simeons, I just shared some of my experiences and observations on the P3 thread.
