What is making you feel so bulky? I find I feel like that if I eat a lot of lettuce or celery.

Just food in general. In P2 I was hardly eating anything and that feels so light and clean. Food fried in butter and eating bacon and coconut oil=heavy.

Ok, so need some advice. Every year my family has Lasagna Night the evening before Thanksgiving. Without looking like a total goof and family asking questions...what should I eat? They will have salad, so I could bring my own dressing. I guess there is no P2 or P3 friendly lasagna?

I started RxhCG 9/24, switched to hhCG on 10/12

If I am just starting over with the pellets then 11/21 will be Last VLCD+NohcG.

If I count back to 9/24 and use that as my start date I will be on 16th day of P3.

Either way I can't have pasta, but I really want to finish the round of pellets because I think I will need that time to get to upper 140s.

My Mom mentioned today that she made the lasagnas to freeze and it got me thinking about what to do. Not gonna blow it like I did last year!!!!

When I was faced with lasagna on P3 I did that very thing! I ate the meatballs and sausage along with a huge salad. My family knows that I am a low carber at heart and didn't say a thing when I didn't eat the pasta.

Hi all, just checking in to see if someone can help me think of some protein ideas. I'm in week 2 and getting very tired of plain meat/poultry/fish, but am not wanting to do any crazy recipes or mix veggies. I sometimes have cottage cheese or eggs, but was wondering if tofu is allowed in P2? If so, how much?

No tofu. Have you tried extra lean ground beef? I also do bison sometimes. It's even less calories than the beef but more expensive. I put home made taco seasoning on it. YUM!

Oh, Sas!

Since you'll be on P3 but don't want to eat pasta- you can always make an eggplant/ricotta bake. It's basically lasagna made with long slices of eggplant as the "pasta" layer. Personally, I love it so much better than regular lasagna. When I do my bake, I do it in stacks instead of a whole tray. I just slice the eggplant across and use 3 slices layered with all the stuff. It's super easy and super yummy!

Share with anyone else who is 'watching' their carbs.

Shrimp!! And, you get to eat a good amount if you calculate the calories to equal the same as 3.5oz of other protein. They're low in fat, too.. yummy!!

I put in about 1T of chilli powder, 2t cumin, 1/2t oregano, 1/2t of paprika, a dash of garlic powder, a dash of onion powder and salt to taste. It's quite strong so mix it up in a dish and use it to taste. I use all that for a whole package of meat. mmmmmm!

@Sas, try a zucchini-cheese-egg bake with sauce and meat on top. I make them all the time. 2 cups zucc, 1.5 cups shredded cheese, 2 eggs, italian spices. In greased pan 400 for 12-15 minutes. Then pull out. Add sauce, more cheese, cooked meat, olives, whatever sounds good - back in that oven for another 12-15 minutes. Tastes like lasagna or pizza and YUM.

It was great reading everyones post. I am amazed at how quickly the weight has come off. I have to get more creative with my foods. I am a pretty good southern cook - use to lots of butter and heavy cream. I would love suggestions. This is my second week.

There's a great thread in the sticky section of this forum.. lots of great P2 recipes!

Simeon's Protocol Recipes Only

I have to giggle a little- my hubby's grandma, God rest her soul, lived in Forsyth GA and we visited her often. She always had yummy leftovers in the fridge that sat uncovered. One day I asked her why- and in her true southern style, she said: "See that layer of butter and cheese on top? That's southern- tupperware!"

vlcd16 & down -1.8 to 143.0 So I lost whatever water weight from tom yesterday & a little extra ! I forgot that when I'm on hHCG my tom is totally wacked out (comes early, leaves early, can be heavy, can be light).

So back to protocol today & 2 weeks before my PI for Disney & then do another 10 days or so of P2 & onto P3. Now I am having some real doubts about doing the fat fast. I'm worried about stabilizing or jeopardizing the weight since I want to do a strict P3/P4. As long as I get to 135 I will one very happy lady

ravr congrats on the losses ! Your pix are amazing. Keep up the good work, you can do it !!

Hey y'all!

Down another lb today! 161.5 7# gone since Friday! Didn't really think it would happen because I know TOM is right around the corner. Taking a pic of my scale and sending to Manders REALLY helps to hold me accountable.

Cocoa - I guess I will do that. My SIL low carbs too, so at least I won't be the only one. I will have to ask what kind of dressing they're using just in case it has sugar in it. You and I are close in weight! I am catching up to you

Dawn - Thanks for the tip! I guess that's what I am going to do. I have to be in control and watch my portions. I will not be drinking because I know that will just blow it. Woo hoo!! Look at you miss 120!! Congrats!

Caligirl - You're stats look great!

HC - I was pondering what I could use instead of the noodles. I make my Mom's lasagna too, so I might make a small one like that. Maybe my SIL and I can eat it together Thank you!

Berta - You are so close to 200s!! WTG!! How are you feeling?

Ravr - What a transformation! Fantastic job!! Do you have a lot more energy now? Keep up the good work!!

C'Marie - Thank you for the recipe. I copied and saved it!

Down again today. I lost 1.8. So it is coming back off.But I can't help but think where I would be now if I hadn't gained. But I can't live in the past all I can do is go forward. AND I WILL!!!!
