Another frustrating day for me. I am just not moving out of the 120s. I keep going back and forth between 120 and 121. I am done!!! I am going to wait til TOM leaves this week and then transition into P3. I do not think I am going to break into the teens. Unless I have a miracle whoosh one day this week! Would be nice, but I am not going to hold my breath. At least I know I will be stable on P3 since I am stable on P2. LOL.

Happy Monday everyone!!!!

I'm hanging in there but the losses have been horrible the last 2?weeks. Starting losing again though so keeping the faith. I'm down nearly 15 and would love 10 more but 8 wll do just fine DD gets married in less than 3 weeks so I'm being extra careful and am going to eliminate the fruits starting today but upping my protein. Let's see if that helps the scale move

Dawn, you've done such a great job this round! Thanks for all the encouragement and keeping me going. You were so supportive the first time I did this and I think you made all the difference for me this round too Happy transitioning!

eta: back to daily weighing as well. I need to not fear the scale but consider it a tool.

HI Everyone,
Feeling pretty good today and I am expecting a loss on the scales in the morning!!

I was thinking about setting rewards for myself for like every 10 pounds I lose, something like a new shirt, getting my nails done, stuff like that for motivation. Does anyone else do that?

I did some cooking yesterday, made a Meatloaf and Mongolian Beef, I think tonight I am going to put a chicken noodle soup together in the crock pot! Sounds yummy

Hi everyone,
I had my two load days this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, and today is my first day in phase 2. So far so good. I really hope this works. I feel fine. I just am so use to doing low carb, and it was hard for me to allow the bread sticks, but I talked with someone in the Dr. office that I am going to, and she told me that it is okay, and she told me how to incorporate them safely. I must admit that after tasting two, I felt more satisfied. Drinking all the water has been pretty easy as well, but oh my with all the going to bathroom.

Rusheda,

I loaded this weekend too! I did a round this summer and it went really well. Now I am doing it again and so far, so good.

Good job getting your water in! I need to focus more on that!

Great idea, Kelly! Non-food rewards are a great thing! I may have to think about that one too.

Hi everyone!
It's day 10 for me now, I have lost 5.7kg 12.5 pounds so far!
But I am still lacking in energy. I have played with my dose (hhcg) and doing 15 drops3x at the moment and although it helped my hunger, I am still really lethargic all day. Wondering if I should try a different method for my next round?
Is anyone using sublingual drops? I'm not ready to try injections yet. Also I need a good supplier that will ship internationally, if you have any suggestions, please pm me.

That's what I do ! Like a little kid. Every 2 weeks I get my nails & pedi done. If I stick it through & don 't cheat or get to whatever goal I go shopping. I also spoil myself more. I notice if I'm stressed I am not a happy dieter

So we lease this house with a big whirlpool tub that the jets were out so my hubby fixed the jets recently for me. Every other day I take a nice long hot bubble bath with jets. It is so relaxing..I've done detox baths too & I have all kinds of bath salts & candles. I notice if I'm kinder to myself I lose better & my mood is so improved. I also feel girlier since the weight loss so I"m enjoying the shopping !!

So.............. I'm here to fess up. Sas already knows...

It was Thanksgiving weekend here and I blew it pretty hard (biggest understatement of the year). I'm currently making P2 Chili and P2 friendly veggie soup to get back on track tomorrow. I literally ate so much today that I felt sick even looking at my chilli. How bad is that?

I wouldn't be surprised if I was up 6-8 pounds. Back on track tomorrow and no weighing until Friday morning. I bought 3 new dresses and new tights and new pantyhose so I MUST be good to continue to fit into them. I also got a new bra and some other things and I'm a size MEDIUM for the first time in my life. YEEE!!!!!

Hey everyone,

Hope you are all doing well.

I am down .5 this morning. Not my normal drop after the first day, but a drop nonetheless. A little bummed that it was so small, but I'll just keep at it.

Hey hey! Just checking in! Weight has stalled the last two days, but I'm still down around 15.5lbs so I'm not complaining. I know why it is, I've had panaras Fuji apple chicken salad the last two days because I didn't really have a choice. Oh well, today's a new day!

Kelly-I buy myself something each week for a reward for getting through the week! So far I have bought myself a new pair or Prada sunglasses for the first week and a beautiful Steve Madden scarf yesterday! I love my non food rewards!!! When I finishes my 40 days
I have a shopping trip planned in Kansas City and I'm buying a bunch of new clothes! My mom is going with me (she is also doing the HCG too) and we already have the hotel booked for two nights so I HAVE to finish!

Mandy- No sweat, that's life! Everyday is a new day! You can do it!!

Morning Ladies ! Vlcd9 & down 1.2 to 146.6 !! The lowest I've ever been so far. When I lose another 2.2 lbs it will be 100 lbs lost I am so excited. I did cut out the tomato and I didn't have my tablespoon of milk with coffee.

Today going to keep it the same (no tomato) for a while and add the milk back in. I had issues last P3 with dairy & even adding back in good carbs (fruits/veggie) and I keep wondering if it's because I cut out the dairy, 2nd fruit & 2nd veggie in my last round to "maximize" the losses & upped the protein. I still ended up losing the same amount & I had a much harder P3 than my first round.

Mandy...I know it's hard but just dust yourself off & get back on it. We all struggle but we keep getting up ! I keep beating myself up over how much I gained loading Focus on how far you've come & that your in a Medium

Dawn - You really have done well and I tend to think we always chose 5lbs less than what we should be. I doubt I will get to 140, but know 145 is possible. Don't beat yourself up. I hope you don't leave the thread when P3 starts. I need all the inspiration I can get!

WW - My losses have been bad too, but I cheated 2-3 times. With all this talk about eliminating fruits, I'm going to give it a whirl too.

Temeka - You are doing so great! Keep that momentum up! This is your first round, correct?

Kelly - I think that's a great idea, but I don't have enough discipline for doing something like that. My best reward is right when I wake up in the morning and remember how good I was the day before and the scale to reward me. Now if i could just keep that up!

Rusheda, Muffles, misslatte & Vanna - Welcome!

Felina - Congrats on your no hunger and losses!

Mandy - You can do it mama! We will be ANGELS this week!! COngrats on the MEDIUMs, that is always an awesome feeling!

Babs - You need to change your stats woman! Show off that 146.6!!! I am green with envy! WTG!

Abby - WHOOSH...another lb gone! Awesome. Have fun in p3!

I'm down 2 after my cheat weekend. Did pretty good yesterday except for a glass of Chardonay I had before bed. That is all for now. TOM shoudl arrive next week, so I could use encouragement this week to keep cravings at bay! Y'all have a great day!

It's inspirational to see someone start from 232 and lose the amount of weight you have. Don't get frustrated. I haven't been able to break into the 230s in years. I use to hover around the 240s, and not it is the 250s; it has been very frustrating for me.

If you don't mind me asking. I've read just a little about fat fasts & I'm still confused. But what is the purpose of doing a fat fast ? Is it because of a stall or to lose a little more before going into P3 ?

I know my last round my P3 was really hard. I had to do a steak day on day 3 & I was doing only protocol food ! So if it would make P3 easier I'm really interested. Please let me know the details & what your menu looks like (if you don't mind that is).

No cheating, no drinking, no nothing. Not one single bite of non-protocol food. Not one lick. Not one single day over 500 calories either. I've tried no fruit and no melba/grissini as well.

And as the end of my six week P2 draws to an end, I'm losing, oh, about 1.5 lbs a week. Maybe less, this week. And less than 2 lbs a week for the last three weeks. Which means my second three weeks has been pretty useless. I almost wish I'd stopped at 21 days.

Today is my 39th injection day, and I've woken up with a headache for the past two days (only had one at the start of P2... until now). Maybe I'm developing immunity. Sure seems like HCG isn't forcing my body to burn stored fat, because that would mean losing a bit more. Although I can't really say I'm starving. Great, I'm probably just acclimated to 500 calories now. Dear God, please don't let my metabolism be screwed up. That was the whole point of this in the first place.

End of rant. I just put a tablespoon of half and half in my coffee for the first time in nearly six weeks. So there.

Buttah - LOL, are you telling me don't cheat or saying YOU didn't cheat...or BOTH? Could I be hungry because I cheat? Because I am hungry a lot. All these ladies who say they are never hungry are killing me! I wish I was never hungry. I am taking 150 once a day.

ETA - maybe i need to read P&I...it has been a while...a year actually.

I never cheated (not even when I was starving the first week because of dose/previous dieting issues), can't even imagine injecting myself with HCG in the morning and then cheating. Not my mindset. I'm not judging anyone else; just expressing my frustration with the second half of this round.

But if you are hungry, according to just about everything I've read, your dose is off, you didn't load properly, or your body is depleted from dieting right on up to your first dose (probably what happened to me - I had been doing IF with JUDDD). Even Simeons talks about some people needing much more loading due to this. You should not be hungry on HCG.

Now back to me. Grrrrr.

Good Morning Ladies,
I was down another pd this morning and my jeans dont feel snug!! That is a huge bonus I really want to make this week a good one!

Sorry for all those struggling, I know its not easy, I have fell off the wagon many times over the years, been doing this weight loss thing on and off since 2008 I should have been to goal years ago lol. One of these days I will figure it out!

Im thinking that maybe I shouldnt eat beef for both of my meals in the same day, anyone else notice they lose slower with beef? Yesterday I had beef at lunch and at dinner, today I am going to have it only at lunch and then have fish for dinner and see if I notice a larger loss tomorrow morning.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning Ladies! Scale is moving once more Down a pound this morning. Buttah, I feel your pain as we have very similar results in losses, but I'm chugging along anyway and started skipping the fruit and upping my protein yesterday to see how that goes. DD gets married in just over 2 weeks so I'd really love to see a few more go. I'm feeling good about the way I look but another 5 or so would not suck

On the menu for today, I have a small crockpot with 2 cups of chicken broth and bs chicken making me a lovely soup for today. Had it yesterday and it was very satisfying, so doing it again. Might add in some spinach later to fiber it up, not sure. Seriously considering going to fullblown stillmans just to knock out the last few.

WW, I haven't been down a whole entire lb overnight in weeks. I'd kill for just one more of those mornings. I've tried skipping fruit, upping protein (a teeny bit), more veggies, less veggies, a bit more walking, less walking, clicking my heels together and saying "there's no place like home." Doesn't matter what I do. My body's just kind of done.

Thanks ! & I updated my stats too FF sounds really interesting. My last 2 rounds the last 2 weeks were the hardest and the slowest (release wise). So basically I'm reading people do the ff for a week or so & then go into P3.

Some people's results were really amazing. I'm thinking to try this specially as after my PI I have a week or so until the end of my round. Depends if I need to extend it a bit more but I'm getting more & more interested. I just don't know about 7 days maybe 5. I'll keep on reading but I wonder if then you transition to P3 normally & if the weight fluctuates too much when you add the carbs.

Going home tonight and doing more reading on that thread.

I know my last round my P3 was really hard. I had to do a steak day on day 3 & I was doing only protocol food ! So if it would make P3 easier I'm really interested. Please let me know the details & what your menu looks like (if you don't mind that is).
hi

a fat fast is typically for people on atkins that are stalled/metabolically resistant. i stumbled across it during my last round and used it to transition from p2 to p3 kind of as an experiment after seeing others have success, and it worked! some people do a FF during a round, some people use it to transition. i did it a bit earlier for my last two days of p2, will continue on my two no pellet days tomorrow and thursday, then go into p3 on friday. i decided to do it bc i was feeling very 'meh' is the only way i can describe it. my weight was bouncing a bit, but i had zero hunger and zero desire to eat anything. i was having trouble eating a whole meal and the thought of more chicken or fish made me and i know me, and i have zero willpower so it was going to lead to giving up or a big cheat. i know thats a hard train of thought to follow but....its the way i work so i decided to start my FF a couple days earlier to see bigger numbers on the scale (i usually drop a few pounds in as many days). the idea is that you go for four or five mini 'feedings' that equal 1000 calories for the day and aim for a minimum of 80% calories from fat. my menu for yesterday and today are as follows:

-bulletproof coffee (2 TB butter whipped into coffee) with sweetener
-2 cream cheese muffins
-1 oz macadamian nuts
-another bulletproof coffee (or 2 oz heavy cream any way you like it)
-1 oz hard cheese (extra sharp cheddar) + 15 green olives

hope that helps!
