Hi everyone,
I'm on R2P2 and doing fine but psychologically not so fine. I "overloaded" - same thing I did on my first round but on the first round I had only gone up like 5-6 pounds and dropped in 2 days - this time I was up NINE pounds. Now I am on day 6 and still haven't got off all the loading weight yet. I was very grumpy about it - thinking "I am not losing anything this time!" and that is really not true...I was looking at my numbers this morning and actually considering what I gained loading I have lost 6 pounds which is just about right. But I am STILL 4 1/2 pounds over my weight I had just maintained for 3 weeks. So that is disheartening. As I am losing like I am supposed to, I don't want to do an apple day or anything - I just need to tough it out but feeling blah about "wasting" days on this round from overloading. I think for next round I am definitely going to handle things differently for the loading days. I know if I just hang tough I will get past this - it's working, I just overdid it. Total 91 pounds down - 65 on Atkins, the rest on hcg. And headed downwards!! Slowly but surely!! |

Morning Ladies and Eddie! Down .6 today! Yipppppeeeee! Very odd how I'm losing so quickly again. Weird. I'll take it though! I'm close to my 20 pounds but would love to see 25 off by dd's wedding, might be wishful thinking at this point. A girl can dream, right?

Hello ALL . I am back and I am just sick and so mad at myself. We had twelve days of nothing but frustration tyring to get a nice funeral arranged for my father in law.I will share a bit but just to much to go into detail
First we got up on Wed the 3rd at 9a.m. we left at 9p.m.that evening drove until 4a.m to catch the plane and then we arrived in Seattle and had a 4hour layover. They compiscated my toothpaste, shampoo , conditioner, mousse and hairspray! Then we missed our next flight because of them, and wasn't another one until 11:00 p.m. and only enough seats for 2 people there were 3 of us. So we had to rent a car and finish our trip.GRRRR .They wouldn't refund our tickets over 400.00 dollars!(just from Seattle to Wennatchee) The car rental was 300.00!! ![]() We were on our way to Wennatchee and there was a traffic jam and we were stuck for four hours in the middle of the night and we still had not had any sleep! We finally arrived at the motel at 3a.m. on Thursday so we were awake for over 48 hours !Then the motle cost us 950.00 for the entire stay.(My sister n law wanted her own room)which I don't blame her.SO then we had alot of frustrations the entire week. We ended up having to spend over 5,000.00 for that trip and most of it was on credit! We were almost out of debt too.... now here we are again in debt! It wouldn't be so bad if we were not living on SS.Oh well here is the worst part........ I gained back up to 251.8 That is like my last 2 rounds are at a total loss!!!! I am trying to do a couple really low carb days before Monday and then I am finishing out the bottle of HCG I had started on. So I am just real frutrated right now and so mad at myself for the way I ate .I was back into my old eating habits 200% the entire time I was there.I can't begin to tell you how much or what all I ate. Mexican, Chinese, etc etc!!!!All I can do now is continue on and pray nothing else pops up to get in my way! I am so happy to be back home and in control of what I eat again. I hope I never have to go on a airplane again the rest of my life. That was only my 3rd time but it was enough for a lifetime for me! We had as a total of fifteen hours of layovers between our going there and our returning!!Well as I said I am happy to be home again and thank you to everyone for the nice condolences. You are a great bunch of people!! AND WELCOME BACK EDDIE! thought maybe perhaps you were tied up with the new girl you met ![]() Well I will try catching up a bit later I have to un-pack and still have o try to hurry for the craft show in two weeks! ![]() ![]()

Afternoon everyone ! vlcd13 & down .08 to 143.8
So happy & I feel great too. Went with a friend & my son to the Breast Cancer Walk and for the first time I didn't feel self conscious about my weight and I was able to do the walk without losing my breath !Right now I can see the 130's coming my way. I haven't been this determined since I'm not sure when..specially considering I'm so close to goal ![]() Now in 2 weeks I'm doing a PI for our Disney 3 day trip and looking forward to it but not scared of "what am I going to eat or not eat" I'm sticking to P3 and will take my scale. Going to drink either red wine or vodka and add extra water so hopefully I won't get out of control. But going to "relax" and enjoy the time with my family & hopefully a size S. Then when I get back if it's bad might do a steak day & then do some clean vlcd and HCG and get back on track. |

Today was my last injection. LIW is 152.7 Now for the last 3 VLCD's.
Can't believe I'm asking this, but how soon can I safely (with a good chance of successful stabilization, both now and then) do a short 23 day second round? Is it 3 weeks or 6? I hate being so close to my goal and not getting there, or a little beyond. |

Buttah - Just my two cents, but I think 3 weeks would be ok. You gotta stabilize though and be super careful on P3, which I know you plan on doing.
Katrina - I have never heard of no injections during TOM. My doc never told me to stop. You're going to get hungry if you do. Dawn - today is better with the hunger...so happy daughter is calling me....gotta run... |

Eddie, you're crazy. To piggy back on the tom discussion, I actually started on my tom. I called my doctor to double check after reading the periodical, but I was told that since I am doing the 40 days, it doesn't matter.

WW, your losses are AMAZING. Woulda killed to lose like that (and tried my hardest, also eliminating breads and one fruit), but it sure wasn't in the cards for me.
Berta, so sorry your trip was so stressful. Life makes other plans, doesn't it? But I have every faith you'll recommit and get back on the wagon in no time. Pandora, your Disney PI sounds fun. I almost wish I'd just finished a shorter round, somewhere between the 23 and 46 days (which is what I did). That way I could get to the quickie "goal" round faster. Now it looks like I have to either wait, or lose the rest without HCG. Given my mediocre losses (although not by any other WOE's standards, so I'll take them), that may be preferable. I think I can lose 1-2 lbs a week some other way! Manders, you poor dear. When it rains, it pours. I hope your breakup healing is speedy. Or temporary. Or whatever it's meant to be. You've been through enough. Eddie, sometimes I swear my husband has a TOM. And just to wrap up my stats with today's LIW: Losses by week: Week one (includes 3.3 loading): -9.8 Week two: -2.3 Week three: -2.3 Week four: -1.9 Week five: -1.9 Week six: -1.9 A bit "meh," but I guess I can't complain.

I WILL get it back off.But oh dear 14 lbs in twelve days My own fault.I should have just eaten steaks, burger and chicken or salads. But I ate the full meal deal twice a day for twelve days and all sorts of sweet stuff and carby stuff I knew better Also eating in the airport with 14hours layover was not easy either! Berta, So sorry about your trip. Kinda reminds me of that vacation movie with Chevy Chase because one thing after another went wrong for you. It's almost hard to believe.
I can understand your frustration with the setback you are having with your diet. Life happens. Our bodies really kick us in the butt when we do something we shouldn't. I'm sure that when you get back on protocol the newly gained weight will come off pretty quick. There's no sense getting mad at yourself because it will get you nowhere. So sorry. Cara, I have the same problem. On one of my rounds I gained 13 lbs. loading!! It took 6 days just to get back to square one. The round that I'm on now, I gained 10 lbs loading but this time it was gone in just two days. Excellent! Someone said that when you load, your body hangs on to a lot of water to digest all of that food. I think that's true because I peed a ton and lost the weight fast. Make sure you drink at least 10 cups of water so you can get that retained water moving through you. Last edited by Felina; 10-13-2012 at 08:23 PM.. |

Berta - Just got to catch up on your story. Excuse my potty mouth..but THAT SUX!
I have absolutely no patience when it comes to stuff like that. I had some foul ups too, but now I am on the pellets and my hunger is gone. I feel I can take the challenge now.Barbara -First off, congrats on the walk! Once you get to goal, what will your exercise plan be? I really want to train again. Nothing like having a trainer making you do what is necessary. I would like to get to 140 and then gain 5lbs of muscle. Have a great time at Disney! I went last year and wanted to quit my job and go work there. Its magical! Just remember when you drink it will give you munchies.Fat Eddie - I've been on here since end of Sept and haven't met you! Nice to meet you…looks like we are on the same schedule since my TOM just showed up. LOL! HC - LOL..you crack me up!! I feel like that was the only thing I got right that day. Manders and I chat on FB nearly all day long. Maybe I should give her updates for her, LMAO!! JJ.Felina - Slow down I am trying to catch up to you…159.4?? Yippee!! Congrats to you!! ![]() Cara - I wish I could do the Green Tea. I just don't like the taste. I don't want to put sweetener in it because I am trying cut back on that. I bought some Spry Green Tea gum, but it most likely won't have the same effect. Does green tea make you feel jittery or do you get caffeine free? WalkingWoman - Congrats on your loss lady!! Yeah YOU!! ![]() I am down 1lb this morning! Yea me. I already sent Manders a pic of my toes on the scale. Nothing like being held accountable!! ONWARD |

Yesterday morning was my last injection, and today I'm down another .6. It's crazy, but it seems like the half and half in my coffee and a bit more protein the past few days has not hurt me at all, and in fact, may have given me a better total week had I started it sooner.
And I'm curious why today isn't considered my LIW, since it's the morning after an HCG day. My body has no idea that I'm not going to inject today. It would seem logical that tomorrow would be the first day where the "weight" wouldn't "count," not today. Anyway, just thinking out loud. I so want to keep losing. Is it kosher to start losing again after the three weeks of P3 (without HCG)? I don't think Simeons ever really said. Anyone know? |

Morning ! vlcd14 & down -04 to 143.4. So far so good on the losses. Sticking to it & taking it one day at a time.
Sas I think I'll do what I did on my last round. When I get to P3 I start my exercise bike at home. Nothing too stenous but to get back into exercising. I start with 20 min until I get to 45 min a day. I do it 7 days a week. This time when I get to P4 I'm considering adding some type of aerobic work out & light weights for some toning. The one thing I'm having some doubts is the fat fast. It sounds sooo interesting to do but I'm worried about stabilizing. I have another friend doing it this week so I'll check with her & her results next week. But I'm going to wait & see where I am in reference to my goal & if I'm up to doing it. Right now I'm worried that I'll mess this round up trying the fat fast & that outweighs my curiosity ![]() |

Just posted this in my journal, but I thought everyone would want to see it:
Just re-weighed at my usual time, and I'm actually down .7 from yesterday. Yay. And since I was "on" HCG when I lost it, I'm counting it, baby. And for some other math, now that my round is over (with 2 VLCD's left, that is): Body fat percentage (using hand held monitor) at beginning of HCG @ 169.5 lbs - 40% fat (67.8 lbs of fat) Body fat percentage today @ 152 lbs - 34% fat (51.6 lbs of fat) Total lbs lost: 17.5 lbs Total lbs of FAT lost: 17 lbs. ![]() ![]() |
