Thanks Buttah and Dawn for your input and encouragement! My first round I lost 25lbs in 43 days and did so well (172 -> 147). I know I can do it, just need to focus.

I have done rounds when my head was not in it. It is NOT worth it do a round when your head and your heart is not in it TRUST ME. I have done a number of re-do rounds because of how I did either P2 or P3 the wrong way. It only works if you do it right. So if you are not in it, it is best to get out while you can. Just focus on getting through the day on plan. Sometimes I had to do it meal to meal Whatever works so you stick to plan. You can do this

Thanks for the advice.. I adjusted my dose down to 125 IU today.. I am kinda hungry at 930am.

Im back on track... I sure need to focus... 8 Pounds and Ill be under 300#..Ive been 4 pounds closer but thats it... it was probably 5 years ago i was weighing 299-305 , I honestly dont remember ever weighing under 285#.... 200's here I come... Wish I had some support out here in person...

Its hard to admit, but losing a lot of weight does bring out a lot of emotional issues...

Got dumped by GF kinda checked out... I stuck to program food wise..but added 2-3 days in a row of xanax and vodka

Morning ! vlcd11 & same weight as yesterday 146.2

Well here is the good part about that. This same thing would happen to me last round & I would get upset or less motivated. This round, not so much. Not that I'm as happy as when I see a nice loss but I've learned that "for me" I don't see a .5 drop every day. I'll see a 1.something lb loss, the next day a small loss, then either no loss or even a small gain. That is the average for me. Some weeks I will see steady big loss but these little no loss/gain don't freak me out anymore because I know there's a whoosh coming my way

I also know that I didn't have enough water yesterday & that 2 days ago I had half a Jeanny O turkey sausage & a mouthful of my son's shredded cheese. Having said that yesterday I didn't have a bite of anything I shouldn't & I'm planning on doing that from now on.

I definitely feel my head in the game this round like in my first one. I've learned when your head isn't in it it's not impossible to do this diet but it makes it's so much harder.

I am skipping dosing today in attempts that I could possibly be overdosing since my shots are pre-measured for 150iu. I should receive Intermountain pellets today or tomorrow.

Question - since I am switching to hhCG, do I load or not again? I'm leaning towards not, but what do the experts think?

-5 lbs and holding.

Hi ladies! I'm on vlcd 3. I was extremely hungry on day one and ended up eating four cookies and a bowl of chili; fortunately I was still down two pounds the next day. Yesterday, I stuck to protocol all day, but at the end of the day I was super hungry so I ate a can of grean beans. I am down another pound. Today I don't feel hungry so far, but that could be because I got bad news this morning.

My menu today:


B: coffee

L: chicken breast
celery
apple

D: cucumber slices with red wine vinegar
chicken breast
microwave apple slices with Sweet n' Low and cinnamon

S: Mocha swirl flavored coffee with Sweet n' Low

Good Morning Everyone,
I am down another pd today! I was super good yesterday. I cooked up some more food last night so I have stuff to get me through the next few days, it will be time to go grocery shopping this weekend to stock up again.

Sorry to those struggling or getting bad news, but we just have to remain in control, and not let food control us!! Easier said than done, I know.

hi sas - i say no loading. ive switched brands and from drops to pellets mid round and never re-loaded. unless dawn says otherwise i think you are totally set to just continue business as usual

rav- ive never lost weight in p3 so i can't comment on that but congrats on the 10 pounds! thats awesome!

pandora - dont sweat the no loss this AM. sometimes when i go a little off plan it doesnt show up for two days.

muffin - sorry to hear that you got bad news. for you. hang in there

kelly - congrats on the pound!!!

well ladies, im down 2 pounds exactly this AM and today is my second and last day of no drops and my last day of the fat fast. tomorrow im off to p3. i just wanted to say congrats on everyone's losses and stick with it!!

Abby Congrats on the loss. I told my co-workers who are also on the drops about the fat fast & that I was following your updates. One was very frustrated as she is stalled. Well she did it yesterday & today she dropped 1.4lbs. She is going to stay on it 2 more days & then go back vlcd.

For me I'm planning on doing it the last week of this round (whenever that may be) as I'm ending the round when I'm at goal & again however long that takes and then will transition to P3. So just wanted to say thanks & good luck on P3

Guess my body isn't caring for fruit this round I'm down another .9 this morning Last round I lost like this with the fruit so I kept it for a long time but it sure must have been impacting my losses cos since I quit eating it the scale is going downward quickly Have a great day Ladies!

So the fruit impacts losses? Does it make a difference whether you eat it alone as a snack, or with the protein and veggies?

Down another couple of pounds....

I am so excited about the rapidness with the losses. I have gotten discouraged on so many diets before - I would be strict and the scale would not move. This is hard, but so far, it is so worth it. I am going to take one day at a time. All of you are a great inspiration. Everytime I read a post about not drinking enough water, I run and fill my cup. So, thanks for sharing all of your journey.

Susan--I am no expert on hcg. I vote for no loading as well. Unless you want to......and have even more weight to lose LOL. Just continue on as usual.

As for me---I am up again on the scale. My eating at work is not going well for me this round. I eat even P2 friendly grilled chicken and salad and gain!!!! So no more of that for me. I don't want to be 1+ lb above LDW on day 1 of P3. I need to do the fat fast like Abby so I can be down below LDW!!!! I might do it tomorrow. Depends on what the scale says. I agree with her that since we are used to eating so little food, when you do the fat fast and see how little you eat, no biggie!!! Geesh!!!! I am the same as Abby---I do not lose weight in P3. So ravr, nothing from me about that.

Rusheda---any non-caloric sweetener is allowed on protocol. So Sweet-n-low is fine!! No worries, muffin. Keep on using it!!!! I used Splenda all throughout P2 and was fine as well. You use what you are willing to use. I am not a fan of stevia, so I kept to my Splenda. As long as it didn't make me stall, I was fine with it.

307.1 today down about 1.7 pounds since yesterday. Big day today... Im quitting my "good paying" sit on my ass all day job to start a fitness adventure company..

What do you ladies think?? I hope im not homesless next month.. Im scared.

Morning everyone ! vlcd12 & down 1.6 lbs so I got my whoosh 144.6 But the best part is today that makes 99.8 lbs lost which I'm rounding off to 100 lbs gone gone gone

It feels so good. So technically I am 9 lbs from goal weight of 135. I'm sticking strickly to protocol until the end of the round until I'll try the fat fast & see if that makes my transition to P3 easier. I have 2 weeks left until my PI which I hope I can get to my goal weight or as close as possible. My plan then after my PI is to do the fat fast for 3 or 4 days (haven't decided on length of time) and then go into P3 or if for whatever reason not at goal then extend the vcld for a week & then do the fat fast. So far my co-worker who was stalled has lost 3 lbs in 2 days with the fat fast

VLCD #1!!!! I am ready!

Today is VLCD #1 for me. I was nervous as I only went up .2 after three days of loading!? I am moving forward using Intermountain pellets. I take 3 pellets 3x per day. I am hopeful this will work for me!! These boards are very motivating!

Hi Everyone,
I am down 3 pounds from yesterday . Where has this been my whole life. I am so waiting for the other shoe to drop. I can't believe it, and yesterday, I took ibuprophen, and my headaches have gone away so far. I was scared that it wouldn't work because I am feeling better. I am sticking to plan. I have to get through being at home this weekend. Please say a prayer for me . I have always been an emotional eater, and I really want it to work this time.

Pandora - wow 100 pounds. Girlfriend, high five and drop it like its hot. You are awesome . I am so glad that there are individuals here that started out with 100 pounds to lose and have lost it. Thank you for sharing your journey

I'm starting to come out of my fog.. this week has been excruciating slow on so many levels. Ahhh, at least the sun is shining outside and it's helping to light my inner self, too.

So many ups and downs this week! I'm sorry I don't have time to catch up with all the personals but did want to shout out to ravr- I'm sorry to hear about your break-up.. that just plain ole' sucks! I'm glad you're working through the stress and the hurt of it all. Wishing you success @ your new venture!! I plan on visiting your link when I finish posting this...

Sas- I really want to know how the Intermountain pellets work for you! I've been thinking about switching up since joining this forum. I've kind of been afraid too b/c the formula I use seems to work just fine. The pellets seem much easier to use, tho.

I've been on and off protocol this week.. reaching for comfort, I guess. The good news is- I haven't gained an ounce. The bad news is.. I haven't dropped an ounce, either. I probably should have taken an unPI. Back on strict protocol today... I hate that I 'wasted' a week.

I'm making chix and cabbage galumpkis today.. I miss my Lithuanian food..lol. I thought to myself: "hey, dumbass- you can eat those"

Pandora, 100 pounds lost is AMAZING! Congrats to you, I admire your dedication. Look how close you are to goal!


Rusheda, in Pounds and Inches is says that Saccharin or Stevia may be used. Sweet n' Low is Saccharin. Wow, 3 pounds lost? That's fantastic! I'm so jealous!

Dawn, I use Splenda, too. It doesn't seem to make a difference.

ravr, congrats on your loss! 1.7 lbs is a good amount. KUTGW!

kymccc, welcome! Good luck to you on vlcd 1. You can do it!

Happy Chick, you can do it! Stay strong and keep your mind on other things! I am going to have to try chicken with cabbage. I've heard a few people mention that combo. It sounds good!





This morning I am down another pound. I actually caved last night and ate some campbell's chicken noodle soup with five saltine crackers for dinner. If I hadn't, I'd probably have lost a little more. I get really hungry at night, and I eat things I'm not supposed to. I bought some chicken bouillon cubes and will try drinking a cup of broth at night instead. That's five calories as opposed to the 140 in chicken noodle soup. There's something about hot chicken broth that makes me feel like I ate something.

Abby - I didn't 'load' yesterday, but ate what I wanted. I am basically starting over. I started the pellets this morning. I think my shots were too old and maybe freezing them wasn't such a good idea. I was very hungry the past 3 weeks and I had loaded very well. Have fun in P3!

WW - I am going to stay away from fruit as well. I notice when I don't eat it, my cravings for sugar disappear. Congrats on your loss!

Dawn - So far so good with the pellets. Do you think I should do 3/3/3 or 3/2/3?

ravr - Exciting news! Hey..my bf quit his job in January and started his own company. He has no regrets! Just go for it!!

Barbara - CONGRATULATIONS!!! OMG 1-0-0 GONE BABY!! So so happy for you!! How are you going to celebrate your accomplishment?

Rusheda - I am on this board 24/7 trying to get encouragement as I am an emotional eater too. I'm glad you are doing well and feeling good! So just gimme a holla if you need a boost!

HC - So glad to see you on the board again. I will definitely let you know how the pellets work. I want to start a journal, but don't really want it to be public. Starting to think maybe I should see a therapist to find out why I can't control my eating. I've been toying with an extra 20 lbs most of my adult life and though it might not seem like a lot, it feels like 300 lbs to me. I'm tired of it controlling my mood.

Hi DM - This is actually my first day on them. I decided to switch because of all the posters commenting on how well the work. I previosuly was on Rx hCG and my doctor was over-dosing me...a lot. 2 shots/day @ 150iu ea. I stopped taking the evening shot and the hunger significantly improved. I stopped the injections for a PI (vacation) and didn't continue when I returned, so I froze the injections. I started last week in Sept and don't feel the hCG was effective as it was in the summer.

I previosuly was on Rx hCG and my doctor was over-dosing me...a lot. 2 shots/day @ 150iu ea. I stopped taking the evening shot and the hunger significantly improved. I stopped the injections for a PI (vacation) and didn't continue when I returned, so I froze the injections. I started last week in Sept and don't feel the hCG was effective as it was in the summer.
Wow! 300 iu a day is three times what I use. Mine is not Rx, but I do use the injections.

I've done hcg before, and started on the drops. I was ravenous. And it wasn't just psychological, my stomache hurt so bad at night I couldn't sleep. I ordered injections online, and immediately the hunger went away. I've never tried the pellets. Please let me know how you like them after you find out.

Hello everyone

Just checking in here. It's been a rough week...been dealing with my broken tooth incident. I had a temp. crown put in, but it has been aching and bleeding a lot. I went back to the dentist and I guess I had some additional swelling in the gum after the procedure, so the crown was cutting into it. Plus still continuing to work daily.

I have been on a moderately low carb soft food diet...cottage cheese, soup, GY, tuna/mayo, protein shakes, etc. I am ready to go back to P2...lol. I don't like NOT losing, and now I have 18 lbs. to goal instead of 16 I am up as of this morning...2.2 lbs..192.4...grrr. I really can't do much of a correction day...only GY...and I don't have any more and not sure if I could do that all day.

I have also been taking Ibuprofen which I hear can cause water weight gain, so I think I will ride it out until I reach P2 again in 2 more weeks.

I will try to jump back on later...been catching up on laundry/kitchen, the stuff the other family members just don't have a clue to do it seems, etc., and I have to do Nov. curriculum for school.

OMG, 150iu 2 x a day?!!!! With injections? (Not RX drops?) No wonder you were hungry. I have never heard of that amount with RX. I inject 150iu once a day, and for some, that is high (125iu being the norm, I think).

To those who are "cheating" (as in obvious non-protocol foods) during your first week or two of HCG and still losing, be careful: it will likely be much, much, much more difficult to lose weight eating such non-protocol foods in any amounts in the coming days.

I have two days left. Looks like I'll be coming in around 17 lbs in 43 days - not quite as advertised, but I guess that's what my body was able to do. And no cheating at all, with the exception of half and half in my coffee the past 2 days as I begin to feel much hungrier (I have not skipped injections during my round) and a smidge more protein (like half an ounce) in the first few and last 2 days, as directed by my clinic.

Good Morning everyone,
I was down another 1.5 this morning, I love seeing losses everyday on the scales!! Its major motivation to not cheat, thats for sure.

I have a lunch date today, so I looked ahead at the menu to find something I could have, I want to keep these losses going!

Anyway, not much time this morning, need to get to work, have a great weekend everyone!
