Thanks ! It sure does help & you answered my main question. So far I think I'm going to try it
I will wait for the end of my P2 when I'm so over everything & my losses are slowest. I have a PI coming up at day 26 of my round. I'm thinking when I get back from the PI after 3 days I will do one clean P2 day (so I can stock up on the FF foods). Then do 4 or 5 days of the FF (depending) and then eat clean P2 for 2 days (or use those 2 days as my vlcd without drops and then on to P3. When you transition to P3 do you eat normally (good veggies/fruit/protein/healthy carbs) or is there something you avoid ? Good Luck & please keep us posted on your results. ![]() |

Abby - Would mind me asking what kind of pellets you have and where you get them? I have always had RxHCG and am thinking about trying hHCG.

Could be, junkn. I am only 5'4" and I honestly look like I weigh less than I do for some strange reason (I always have). Could be my big boobs and big heavy brain in my head? And I'm medium frame. One friend has the theory that I'm very compact with a lot of muscle for someone my age/size (with the exception of my stretched out pregnancy pouch), but I think I'm pretty average build. You have done better than I have. My second and third weeks I lost 2.3, since then LESS than 2 a week, and this (my final) week may be less than 1 pound. And again, I have not cheated one single moment in all these 39 days. Sorry, I'm repeating myself! But my 145ish goal is VERY conservative. I weighed around 135 at my wedding and definitely could've weighed less. Anyway, I'm almost done with this round. Just kinda wish I'd kept it to the 21 days, since the second half has been so slow; then I could've been nearly ready to start another short one. Now Thanksgiving and a couple of trips will force me to wait until after Dec. 16. IF I use HCG to get to goal. We'll see.

Hi everyone, just checking in here... I LOVE this protocol, am not hungry at all, and am feeling so much energy. SO much better than Medifast (my previous attempted plan). I just wish we could stay on P2 until goal... But I understand about resetting the metabolism. Makes sense, and although I'm nervous about waiting in between rounds, I'm excited to have found hCG!
I'm on VLCD7 today, and here are my stats for Round 1: 10/1 - LOAD DAY 1: 268 10/2 - LOAD DAY 2: 271 (+3) 10/3 - VLCD1: 270 (-1) (still +2 from loading) 10/4 - VLCD2: 266 (-4) (-2 total) 10/5 - VLCD3: 264 (-2) (-4 total) 10/6 - VLCD4: 262 (-2) (-6 total) 10/7 - VLCD5: 260.4 (-1.6) (-7.4 total) 10/8 - VLCD6: 260 (-.4) (-8 total) 10/9 - VLCD7: 259.5 (-.5) (-8.5 total) ![]() Last edited by caligirl3; 10-09-2012 at 02:36 PM.. |

I have decided that tomorrow is my last dose day. I will be moving onto P3 on Friday!!! I am excited, yet nervous. I don't do so well in P3. This time I am going to take it slow. I will not rush into anything LOL. I have been at 120 or 121 for the last 6 days, so I think I can be steady and stable in P3. I mean being steady in P2 should bode well for the next phase. I pray to God that is true!

Hey susan- one bottle last me forever...you can get through at least two short rounds and then some. You take 3 pellets, 3 times per day. i like them so much better than their drops
Dawn- im joining you on p3 on friday! Of course its the first day my DH is home in over 3 months, AND we are going out for dinner. i wil be perusing the menu beforehand of wherever we go pretty thoroughly! A correction day on day two of p3 would kill me ![]() |

i'm on hhcg and took one week of an (UN)planned interruption.. meaning it was unplanned because i didn't really plan on it but my mother came to visit and i just totally fell off the wagon and stopped the hhcg for 5 days. *you can totally tell when this happened by my graph- lol
i started very strict protocol but went rogue these past few weeks, with fat fasting for a few days to break a stall, drinking a bulletproof coffee here and there. but i do still stick to the VLCD. i've been wanting to stop for a while now but i keep getting closer and closer to goal and i really don't want to start all over. my goal is 105. when i started it was 115, then 110, now its 105. i only have exactly 5 more to go and i keep bouncing up .2 or .4 & go back down the same. sighhsss |

I wonder how long you can stay on HCG without totally messing up your system or becoming immune to it? Seem I read somewhere that someone said they stayed on it longer than the 40 days. I kinda want to try it, but dont want to screw myself lol.
Anyone stayed on longer than the 40 days? |

I don't know why it wouldn't apply to hhcg as well. Your body is mimicking the same reaction. But I guess it's working for you.
I couldn't keep doing this at this rate of loss, regardless. At this point, it's not that different from things I was doing before. And I was eating more! |

I did not realize you guys jump to a new thread every week. So I missed a week.
Its been a tough week too. I got broke up with so Ive been sorta checked out and in a daze anyways. I stayed to the plan, although Ive probably cried out a few extra pounds of water..lol Im still exactly 309# I sure could use the boost and reward of breaking 300 soon... Im definitely not drinking enuf water... if anything not eating enough... @abby Is the fat fast effective for you on the days you do it? I assume its no carbs, and 80% fat and looks like you said 1000 calories??? Have you done this during a stall on P2? or just as a transition into p3? I am going to try to stick to p2 another week, but im getting hungry... Im on 200 IU of injectable hcg... i tried dropping in to 175 and i was even more hungry...has anyone taken more like 225 iu??? Morning everyone ! vlcd 10 & down .04 today. Any day with a loss in my book is a good day.
So far haven't had tomato but experimenting with celery & cucumber and I'm actually enjoying the crunchiness. It's weird last round I just wanted protein (but craving more fish) the sight of veggies was grossing me out. So to "maximize" my losses I cut out my 2nd veggie & fruit & had extra protein. My losses essentially were the same at the end of the round. What I did notice between both rounds (my personal experience only) was that in round 1 I had no issues stabilizing when I added fruit & good carbs & dairy. In my 2nd round I had a much harder time when I tried to add these items. This round I really am enjoying my fruit & veggies. Weird how one round can be so different from another. |

Ravr - Sorry to hear of your break up. Last week was no good for my relationship either, but we muddled thru somehow. All I have heard is the more hcg you take the hungrier you are, so I would try skipping one day and then trying the 175 again.
Kelly - As far as taking it for long periods of time, I know a girl from another thread that has been taking it since Jan! Now that is crazy. She went from 180-135, but she has cheated a lot and most likely won't stabilize. She has never even done P3! Caligirl - what kind of hcg do you do? Abby - Thank you! They said it should arrive in 2-5 days. I'm thinking of just starting my round over. I STS today. Price I pay for my stupid weekend cheat.

good morning ladies
sorry to hear that you guys are having a tough time this/last week. big to everyone. ravr - im on day three of the FF. after the first day i lost 1 pound even, and then after day 2 (this am) i am down another 1.2 lb. some people use it to break a stall, people people use it to transition. last round i used it to transition and this round i used it to stop a cheat before it happened. i was getting frustrated and not really 'feeling' p2 anymore. so i did two days on pellets, now i have today and tomorrow with no pellets, then p3 begins friday. lemme know if you have any more questions! its not for everyone, def not protocol, and kind of one of those YMMV type of things, but i love it as a little diversion |

Good Morning Everyone,
I was down like another .5 this morning, but I will admit I had a couple things yesterday I shouldnt have, I put a smidge of peanut butter on my melba crackers and also ate a spoonful of cookie dough, there confession over So today I am going to focus on no cheating, small or not, they add up and could be the reason why I only lost 1/2 pd instead of more!I will see how I feel with things when I get to the end of my 40 days and if I want to keep going or go to phase 3 and wait the 6 weeks before another round. Thats gonna be Nov 8th for me. I was thinking maybe I would stay on it till just before Thanksgiving and then go to phase 3 through Thanksgiving and xmas and New Years which would be about 6 weeks, then start a new round first of January! Well, the scale made my decision easy for me about P2 LOL. I was up again today!! This is so frustrating. I am done, done, done with P2. I keep bouncing between 120 and 121, so I have taken my last pellets this morning and I am moving onto P3 on Friday. Seems like I will be starting the same time as Abby. I have done well this round. I have not cheated, I have not taken a break (was tempted to, but didn't) and lost well. I am hoping that since I have stayed at essentially the same weight (121-120) for about 6 or 7 days, I will be stable this P3. I am sure I can do it!!!!!
Happy Wednesday everyone!!! ravr-- sorry about your breakup last week. I hope this week brings you peace. Just stick to plan and you will break into the 200s. You can do this!!! I have heard that EVERYONE needs 125 IU on P2. Dr Simeons had that dose for EVERYONE from the tiny little petite ladies to the big male adults in his clinic. I doubt you need MORE hcg. I have always heard that less is more when it comes to hcg. I think you should follow Susan (Sas) and skip a day and then adjust your dose down. Then give it a few days to work itself out. Don't base your dose on just one day of protocol.

Dawn - YEAH! Those are the ones Abby told me to get so I ordered them yesterday. Has it been easy not to cheat? Did you have any uncontrollable snacking urges? When I read about ppl forgetting to eat or can't get themselves to eat, I am just amazed. I want to feel that way!!!! I have been on Rx, but this short round had been frozen so I think some of it might be bad or I have just become immune.

Hello Everyone
So far so good, I had a killer headache yesterday, and I took 2 tylenol. I also allowed myself an orange, and boy was it good. I have lived a VLCD on an off for years. So, the load and taking in the orange was hard for me to wrap my mind around. I really wanted to eat some ground beef today, but I have eaten too much so far. So, I have to cut my calories for the balance of the day. I will cook taco beef tonight and have it for lunch tomorrow. I noticed that I am sleeping longer, and I want sleep. For some strange reason, I wanted pecans last night sooooooo badly. I just drank some water and went to sleep.

No, it was not easy to stick to plan. I have temptations all around me 24/7. First off, I work at Chick Fil A. The hardest place to stick with P2. Then, I have 4 children and a DH who love to eat 24/7. With 2 of them being teenaged boys who can eat everything and anything and not gain an ounce ![]() frustrating indeed. But also very tempting when you are sticking with 500 fat free calories. I had to cook their food, which isn't even low carb yet fat free!!!! And watch them eat it. That is ALL mental though. It was tough, but manageable. My eye was on the scale. I wanted to see a smaller number every day on that thing and even though I didn't, it kept me on the straight and narrow. Daily weighing in P2 is key for me. However, I DID stick to plan, I did NOT cheat, I didn't take an interruption even though I wanted to. I stuck to P2 for 28 days and lost well ![]() So it can be done. You will do well ![]() ![]() Last edited by dawnyama; 10-10-2012 at 11:45 AM.. |

For the record, until I put half and half in my coffee yesterday (which frankly, i don't really consider a huge out-of-control type cheat, as I've never done the "1 tbs milk in coffee" allowance, I skip the bread/melba, typically have just one fruit and always stay under 500 calories), I have not cheated once in 40 days of VLCD.
And temptations have been everywhere, nearly every day (I won't even go into them). I was also starving in the beginning. Gut gnawing can't sleep, can't function starvation hunger. But I was too scared to cheat (to be fair, I added one ounce of protein, per both Robin and my clinic, for maybe 3 or 4 of those days.) For me, I just read and re-read the science behind Simeons (and WLA). Your body needs only minimal food or it will not keep burning the stored fat. If you know that, injecting or taking hhcg and cheating doesn't really make any sense. You might as well take a PI or find another WOE. Or, I suppose, find a "rouge" way to do the protocol that makes some sort of logical nutritional sense - I get that as well. If you research that, and you know your body, and it works (and you're not overly concerned about stabilization), I say go for it, but then at least stick to THAT. But cheating as in eating stuff you know you shouldn't eat? I just say no to myself. I remind myself protocol is temporary. It will be over soon enough (Saturday). Then again, I plan to take p3 and p4 just as seriously. And "cheating" there will mean eating too much, rushing into too much fat, rushing into too many carbs (I don't feel well with too many carbs anyway), etc. Am I full, ever? No way! Am I really totally satisfied on the protocol? No. Does other peoples' food smell delicious and inviting? Of course. But I'm not having it. My stomach just feels empty. But the gnawing hunger, thank God, is gone. And I've learned to accept the "empty" feeling. So I second Dawn. It CAN be done. It sure ain't easy, though.
