Eating no fruit on HCG phase 2-Ketosis

Does anybody know if not eating fruit and staying under 20 carbs on the hcg make you loose faster? Or does it mess with the hcg and fat loss? Just wondering if anybody has tried this! Thanks!

I know if I eat fruit AND tomatoes, I don't lose as well. I would assume that's due to the higher intake of sugars which takes me out of ketosis. I do lose better without fruit, but I also generally feel better when I do have fruit.

I havent eaten my fruit the last couple days and I have noticed I am not as hungry as I was before! I think thats prob because of the sugars. I am thinking I am going to cut them out this whole week and see how things go!

I've done rounds with and rounds without the fruit. I had less hunger w.o. the fruit, but enjoy my apple and strawberries while on P2. The losses were about the same for me. If you feel better w.o. it, feel free to drop it!

I also never did the "breadstick" after my first round. Didn't add much and I don't like bread in general.

I'm starting this today. Upping my protein and eliminating the fruits. Happy releasing!

One thing that I have noticed is that keeping the fruit in has SIGNIFICANTLY decreased my sensitivity to fruit outside of P2. I have been able to have all kinds of fruit (even some of the higher GI ones like bananas and pineapple) in my P3's and P4's with no issues. I DO always eat my fruit with protein and veg (basically as part of me "meal"), not by itself, to help decrease the impact of the fruit sugar on my blood glucose. It may not work for everyone but I am so thankful that I can have fruit again after P2. A lot of times if I have a piece of fruit (post-P2), it keeps me from eating other sugary/starchy cr@p that I shouldn't.

I agree with Shelby. The hcg protocol is not dependent upon ketosis for weightloss. Unless you want to change things up for some reason, protocol is always best, IMHO. Why not enjoy fruit? I don't want to give it up for life, I like it.
