I went to the website and read about it. Looks like it's trying to capture some people who can no longer get hcg or hhcg.
1000 calorie diet, homeopathic aminos, but the single bottle is close to 100 clams!! Of course, there are "better deals" to be had, and lots of great testimonials!! |

I just started the liquid amino diet. On day 2 of the first protocol. Basically it is 1000 calories a day of a low glycemic index diet. You eat five meals a day, with no snacking after dinner. you must wait at least two hours after eating before going to bed.
You eat 5 servings of 5 oz protein, 4 servings of vegetables (no potatoes or corn) 2 servings of fruit and 1 serving of a healthy fat (2 eggs count as your healthy fat and a serving of protein). breakfast: 2 eggs, 1 cup of veggies (spinach,or mushroom etc. from approved list), and 7-10 small strawberries. Snack: 3/4 cup 4% fat cottage cheese, and 1 small apple Lunch: 5 oz protein from approved list (no pork) 1-2 cups veggies Snack: 1 scoop protein powder and 1/2 pear or 1 small orange Dinner: 5oz protein 2 cups veggies you also must drink one half your body weight in ounces in water, and you may drink coffee or tea, but they do not count as your water serving. Seltzer is okay and decaf tea also okay to drink and count towards your water intake. If you are active you may increase your caloric intake to 1250-1500 depending on your workout. So far so good. No dairy except the cottage cheese. That is the hardest thing for me. But so nice to be allowed tomatoes, onions etc. lettuce is a "free food" and you may consume as much as you wish (but not after dinner!!) No sugar, no artificial sweeteners except stevia. Hope this helps. Yes the drops are expensive, but they are vitamins that last an entire month. Hope this helps!

I bought the liquid aminos from the Liquid Amino Diet site on Facebook. I started a thread in "other diets" because I wasn't sure where to post it. It goes over the protocol and gives samples of my menus for the last 2 days. I think you could probably buy any liquid aminos, but I would want to know what is in them. The ones I have contain:
L-Argenine an essential amino acid that enhances lean muscle mass and may be of benefit in reducing fat from the body. Acetyl L-Carnitine an amino acid that assists the body in producing energy. It works with the body to improve the metabolism of fat. L-Ornithine an amino acid shown to increase the body’s production of human growth hormone (HGH). Improved HGH promotes growth in muscles, which assist with burning fat. as well as: Phytolacca Berry is useful for those trying to lose weight who suffer from a feeling of sluggishness or low energy, excessive body fat, and metabolism that is below normal. It helps to improve metabolism, burn fat (particularly in the midsection and back), and increase energy. a-ketoglutaricum acidum (AKG) has been used by bodybuilders and peak performance athletes for quite some time. It helps to facilitate proper metabolism of amino acids and also the transference of energy. Additionally, AKG helps reduce ammonia in the kidneys, brain, and muscles. Graphites have been used to treat a variety of conditions, particularly weight gain in women going through peri-menopause. It helps metabolism and the absorption of important nutrients. Taraxacum Officinale is more commonly known as the Dandelion, and has been used for several hundreds of years to treat a variety of health issues. Its primary role is to support the liver, kidney, and digestive system. When the liver is strengthened, the body is better able to burn fat. By supporting the kidneys, the body is better able to cleanse itself of unwanted toxins especially those released during weight loss. Lophopytum leandri is an all-natural way to boost thyroid hormones and metabolism caused by an underactive thyroid. With the thyroid returned to normal, the body is able to release the necessary amounts of thyroid hormone to sustain a level of metabolism that is beneficial for weight loss and management. Calcarea Carbonica helps to control appetite and calm the nerves. Successful weight loss and maintenance is promoted when compulsive eating, excessive snacking, and binging are no longer an issue. I would consider the first three essential. You can look for my support thread under other plans...It's lonely over there right now Hope this helps!! |
