Hi ladies! real quick post because work is INSANE this week....so stressed and so tired

update - I am up 1lb today at 163.5 I failed last night After a stressful day at work BF offered to take me out. TRUTH..this is what I had: Handful of peanuts, 6oz filet, 1/2 green beans, dinner salad lettuce and tomato only w/ranch, 1 red wines. Then we got in an arguement and when I came home had a bowl of cereal and handful of chips. I suck at life! For punishment, I am skipping lunch today and having dinner only.

There I said it...love you all! Sorry no personals for now..back to the grindstone.

Just checking in with y'all! Happy to see some losses out there! I feel guilty if I post too much in the protocol thread because I am NOT protocol right now..silly, I know But hey, I start P3 tomorrow, yay!

Mandy -- How ya doin' honey? Hoping you were able to sleep well and feel a little better today.

Sas -- I totally respect your honesty on what happened! I think it's safe to say that many of us have been there. I think that the work stress and the extra stress from trying to hide the diet from your BF might wear on you and make things harder than they should be. People at my work are so nosy sometimes and going out to lunch with coworkers and other businesspeople is very much in the culture here (I work in the entertainment/media industry) so just hiding it from them and turning down lunch offers alone stresses me out!! Only 1lb isn't awful though..just get back on track and promise yourself that you will succeed today!

heahyou00 - OMG, WTG mama!! don't drink, it makes you hungry. You go girl! You're doing great!! 199 here you come!

Abby - I wanna be 148.8 too! I love the 140s WTG!

Barbara - You can do it! Things will speed up. i would think with early losses like that, it's probably evening out this week.

Temeka - Fantastic loss girl!

Berta - Sorry for your loss We looking fwd to having you back.

Mandy - Had a fight with BF last night. Nothing major, but adjustments are hard and I never do well with them. I am uptight and anal and he is the most laid back person on earth. That with the 14 yr age difference, we will for sure not see eye-to-eye sometimes. I hope your bf comes around soon and offers you the support you deserve.

coco - omg, thanks for the kind words. I had the same thought. 1 lb wasn't that bad and I hadn't had a bm since Sunday, so maybe tomorrow will be good. Entertainment industry in LA, huh...Well I am in oil & gas industry in TX. How fitting for the both of us Nobody eats lunch together around here. I usually eat my itty bitty meal and take a nap under my desk. Just like George Constanza did on that Seinfeld episode. HA HA!

Buttah - As far as Natural Calm, I don't beleive it did much for me, but I will finish the bottle. It did not make me sleepy at all and when things didn't get moving..it made gas a lot stinkier. Sorry TMI. I think I will try the melatonin for a while.

Hey to ya HC and all you other fabulous support members!!

I can't stay away from yall. I am literally addicted to our group. It's lunch time here, so I had to get personal with y'all! I think my tummy issues are finally gone. Maybe the probitoics and NC together helped.

I was curious, because I do the same thing! I don't really do the only load on fats things. I just eat whatever my little heart desires! I think it's partly mental to. If you're loading and you still don't get to eat what you want, you'll still feel unsatisfied when you start your VLCD. I say go for it and just deal with the extra.

I'm alright. Doggie goes in for a heart ultrasound this afternoon which will tell us which side of his heart is affected (the treatment for each is way different and could be fatal if we treat the wrong side). It will also give us a bit of an estimate of how much longer we'll have with him I caught him sleeping this morning on my parents bed with his head on my dad's pillow. I totally burst into tears. It was so sweet.

Well, despite all the not-so-nice things going on lately, I peeked at my scale this morning and weighed in at.....
...
...
...

174.2!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it. I almost cried (again) because I was so happy! This is virgin weight territory, and genuinely can't remember when I was this small. I must have been 13? I was shorter then too, so I am the skinniest I have ever been in my adult life. Now I get to update my stats and my ticker!!

Oh, and for anyone who's interested, here's a pic of the little fluffer and me. He was sticking his face in the camera so the end of his nose is missing lol

Sas -- You're welcome! No BM yet?? Hate when that happens. I find that Natural Calm is great but only if I take 3-4 tsp. I'm always above recommended dose for everything!! And LOL on our jobs/locations being totally cliche..when I first moved here I'd answer "What do you do?" with "I work in the entertainment industry" and then I realized how dumb that was

Mandy - He is TOO CUTE!! So fluffy! I am very happy for your loss. You needed that little pick-me-up. So exciting! I'm itchin' to get to 159 so bad. I am back on the wagon. I think I will take Barbara's advice to you too and try to chill as much as possible so as not to get out of control again.

Isn't he? I could seriously bury my face in his fluff and die happy. He's my little tiny polar bear.

I think it's the soup. I'm so full after I eat the soup but it's mostly liquids with tons of veggies. I have to admit to loving that feeling of being "full". Also, I've obviously been distracted so food isn't really on my mind that much. I'm so relieved. I was stuck between 178 and 188 for 3 months.

Time to get in the 160's!!!!!! Only 4.2 pounds away. I can DO THIS!!!!

Cocoa - Yay!!!! The feeling is so great, ain't it?!?!?!?!? I'm so happy for you! You worked really hard and totally earned that. Are you planning on stopping at your goal, or have you decided to go further?

I am going to aim for a FF in the last week of October. It's fun!

It IS fun..hehehe!

Thank you, I think we've both earned it. I know there will be reshaping all throughout P3 and a little in P4 so I'm going to let my body stabilize and do it's thing and see where I end up at. Keeping 150 as goal in mind for now, but may be subject to adjustment I could see something like 145..but I'm 5'10 so I couldn't imagine myself looking any good lower than 140. Bleh. I like my curves!

FF is great. The real test will come afterwards to see how I stabilize. Fingers crossed!!

that's so true hey? Even when we aren't actively losing weight, our bodies are still reshaping and changing. I looked different at 180 recently than I did 3 months ago at 180.

It's important that we remind ourselves that even when we aren't "losing", we're still changing! Otherwise we get caught up in the simple numbers on the scale.

Let's all post a non-scale victory this afternoon. It's important to focus on other things than numbers.

Here's mine: My thighs just barely touch when I walk now.

I went shopping on Sunday and could actually fit into size 7 shorts and size 29 waist denim leggings!! Totally bought them. I've wanted to be in the 20s for waist sizing for forever. Had a mini freak-out in the dressing room.

That's amazing!!!!! Congrats!!!! I want to go shopping but I still have 34 left to lose so I don't want to buy stuff and then have it be too big. I might get a few dresses this month.

Good morning!!!

I started P2 on 10/1/2012 and am doing great so far!!!

10/1 - 268 LOAD DAY 1
10/2 - 271 LOAD DAY 2 (+3)
10/3 - VLCD1 270 (-1) (still +2 from loading)
10/4 - VLCD2 266 (-4) (-2 net loss)

A bit about me... I'm 5'9, 40 and have about 120 to lose.
I imagine it will take approx. 5 rounds to reach goal, more or less. I am trying to get an idea of what that will look like, date-wise, so I can plan next year's vacation time around P2's (I know, I have to put in a year in advance for vacay). Does anyone know how long to wait in P3 before starting another round of P2 to avoid becoming immune?

Thanks!!!

Projected Weight Loss Calendar/Log:
hCG round 1 - 10/1/2012 - END DATE (42 days), 268--> X
hCG round 2 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X
hCG round 3 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X
hCG round 4 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X
hCG round 5 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X

Thanks & looking forward to getting acquainted with you all!

Ugh!!!! My scale is toying with me now!! I am back down to my 122, so that is good. Official weigh in is only the first reading I get. But when I jumped on the thing 2 more times, it gave me 121.8 and 120.8 so I feel a whoosh is in the works for tomorrow. I will not give up or give in to my scale. My body and my scale will NOT WIN!!! I WILL!!! I am going to be down tomorrow!!!

I went jeans shopping yesterday. I wanted sooo badly to fit into these size 8 jeans, they were fabulous and I wanted them so badly. They didn't fit----the only thing that was too loose was the waist. The legs and butt fit like a glove, but the waist was just too loose no belt would hold it in. I did fit into the size 6 though. But they were not as nice looking as the size 8.

I am trying to get an idea of what that will look like, date-wise, so I can plan next year's vacation time around P2's (I know, I have to put in a year in advance for vacay). Does anyone know how long to wait in P3 before starting another round of P2 to avoid becoming immune?

Thanks!!!

Projected Weight Loss Calendar/Log:
hCG round 1 - 10/1/2012 - END DATE (42 days), 268--> X
hCG round 2 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X
hCG round 3 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X
hCG round 4 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X
hCG round 5 - START DATE - END DATE (X days) X--> X

Thanks & looking forward to getting acquainted with you all!
The wait time between rounds becomes longer the more rounds you do. So the first break between P2s is 6 weeks. That amounts to 3 weeks of P3 and 3 weeks of P4. Then the next one is 3 weeks of P3 and 5 weeks of P4. I believe the interval between P4 and the next P2 you do gets longer by 2 weeks every round you do. I know some have taken the necessary breaks between rounds and they can better help you, but wanted to give you a quick answer. The length of rounds is listed in Pounds and Inches by Dr Simeons. A google search can turn it up! It won't list specifics, but it will tell you the length of the P4s.

everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say KUTGW to everyone!

@ Manders - so sorry to read about the stress that you are going through. Pets are the BEST and boys are STUPID (sometimes--and obviously NOT the ones on this thread! ) Wanted to give you a suggestion for anxiety attacks. Get some hydrocortisone cream (it's gotta be the cream--not the ointment)--you know the stuff used for bug bites? If you feel yourself getting anxious or if you have trouble sleeping at night, put a pea sized dot on your inner arms and rub it in. It should help with the anxiety. Good luck!

Welcome caligirl!
WTG Dawn!!
Cocoa - I took at least 3 heaping spoonfuls every night for 4 nights. Sun-Wed, and finally went today, but I think it was because of my meal last night. Lol, told ya I need industrial. Ha!
Hey Shelby! Good to see you.

Okay so I skipped lunch because of last nights mishap. Tonight I had soup, Melba and lettuce. Drinking water, tons. A big brownie and a glass of milk would be nice. Hope things even out for tomorrows weigh in.

Morning ! Woke up today to .02 gain I'm off from work today so after I get my son ready for school I'm going back to bed. Hanging in there but it sucks !!

Here was my menu : breakfast 6 strawberries, lunch 1 1/2 celery, ground chicken patty (home made), dinner shrimp & half of a yellow squash. Snack - apple. Did have 2 small bites of my son's sirloin. Could it be the squash ? I've never had it on P2 before but I was getting tired of tomato & it's the only thing I had in the fridge. I skip the Melba but do have a tablespoon of milk with my coffee.

I'm hoping tomorrow is a better day

Babs - yellow squash isn't protocol, but I looked up nutrional value and it only has 4g carbs, 2g sugar and 20 cals per 1 cup. Doesn't seem bad to me. Personally I don't think it is what you ate yesterday. How much water are you drinking? Were the shrimp seasoned?

Katrina - That's a big drop! congrats!!

As for me, I back to 163. I would have been back to 162.5 or lower, but last night I was starving because I skipped lunch and I had some chex mix. See!!! This is what happens when I get more comfy with my weight and I'm tired. I cheat. Someone give me a beating!

So tonight I am supposed to go to the fair again, but honestly going to backout. I'm tired, have tons of work to do this weekend and I don't see having much fun with all that on my back. I can't drink or eat, might as well stay home, get a good rest and start work in the morning (from home). BF will be disappointed, but I don't care. My body and sanity come first before partying. I bet if I were to go, I would drink some beer and possibly cheat.

Good Morning to my peeps! Let's hear from everyone or else I think you fell of the HCG WAGON! (tee hee hee...like I did a couple times this week)

Natalie, Julie, Mandy, buttah, temeka, HC, Dawn, Ravr, Berta, Dbunny, Angela, Reddy, Stephanie, Abby, Kelly and Cocoa ....WASSUP??

p.s. sorry if I forgot anyone
