heahyou - 140 is going to be really low for me, so if I can get to 145 I'll be happy. I too like my curves. Own it I wasn't hungry on Load day 2 either.

Dbunny - Woot! Yea on the 1# GONE. I love 1 lb losses! I am down a half pound,which puts me back to where I was Sunday 163.5.

Abby - Hope you TOM isn't too bad for you! I've noticed my TOM is worse when on hcg and it's really hard not to cheat the week before. Good luck to you!

Mandy - Glad you are still seeing a loss and you've got a support system set up.

163.5 today. Same as I was Sunday. I drank more water yesterday to try to flush that .5 gain off. feeling pretty tired this week. I tried to get to bed early last night, but that did not happen. I love my sleep. I have to get up at 5am for work so I try to get to bed by 9. I even take naps on my lunch hour. When I am rested, it makes my diet easier.

How much sleep does everyone get a night?

Today I will have South of the Border Soup. It has chicken in a light tomato broth with cilantro and spices. Last night I cut my 7ox filet in half and it was delicious! I will have other half tonight. If I can get to 159.5 by Sat morning I will be happy, but that's 4lbs.

Time to get crackin at work. TTYL,

How much sleep do we get- great question!!

I average anywhere from 5-7 hours a night now. While I was going through peri- and finally through- menopause- I was only getting 3! I was miserable, miserable, miserable. Then, I discovered Melatonin. It has been a life-saver!!

I always say I'm going to sleep-in on the weekends but, it never happens. My body clock wakes me at 5:45am every day- no matter what time I've gone to bed.

HC - Last night I tried tea before bed bc that seems to relax me. I also had a Soma (muscle relaxer) because I have a knot in my back. Doesn't help that BF wants to watch tv in our room while I try to go to sleep, but he did move it to the other room when I asked. Can we take Melatonin on P2? Do you take it in the evenings?

I find it harder to sleep deeply or long enough while in P2. I seem to have more energy and wake up early w.o. even trying. Usually try for 7 hours a night. Lately it's been more like 6 . Hope that improves.

HC-you like the melatonin? I bought some but haven't tried it yet. Heard mixed reviews.

Sas-it's so frustrating that recovering from a cheat takes so much longer than the cheat or gain itself!! I hope you're down to your goal by Sat. That new decade is always exciting!!

Have a great day all!! Officially on to P3 today. It's been a harder round than I wanted, with slower and smaller losses. But, still WAY smaller than I've ever been and really trying to celebrate, enjoy and recognize that! I want to stay here. I don't want to fall back into complacency or worse, a sense of entitlement to eat like "everyone else" does. I tend to go off the rails on vacations and holidays so that I can feel "normal". It just creates this whole cycle of gain/loss that I want to avoid. I usually regret the indulgence afterwards and the work to lose it again isn't worth it. Trying to stay mindful of this before I indulge!!

I take Melatonin every single night- have been for months now and it has not affected my protocol at all. I buy the 3mg tabs but only take half- it seems to be all I need. It comes in strengths of 10mgs, too.. so, I imagine it's a YMMV type of dosing.

edited to add: I take it about 15 minutes before I want to sleep!

i'm hanging by a thread today full blown day 1 of TOM and im up 3 lbs. i stuck to protocol yesterday so i know its water weight, but i was hoping for...something different. this is my second month of being off the pill in 11 years and all the memories of how crappy TOM can get are flooding back. and today, to boot, we have a work breakfast and catered lunch. im avoiding the food but had a coffee with cream in it to help me power through the morning. im hoping the water weight goes away in a couple days. it was just so disheartening to see that this AM after doing so well in week 1

i hope i took the brunt of everything and everyone else had great losses. i'll live vicariously through you guys

Down.6 today but like the 237 number instead of 274 looks good to me.
I have two more weeks of PH2 or until this vial is empty.The last one did not last me but 15days for some reason? I believe it should have lasted a full 21days. But never the less it was empty I have 13 more lbs to lose before the fifty off that I wanted this round, it doesn't look like I'll make it but perhaps

Good Morning,
Well after 2 days of loading I stepped on the scales and was sure I had gained 10 pds, but it was only 1.5 Not too bad. Today is day 1 of the low calorie, I can do this!! I went grocery shopping and got all the yummy food I need Last night I made the phase 2 chili and brought that for lunch today. So far Im not hungry, but plan to kinda spread my food through out the day to keep me going.

Does anyone else find that they need to combine something with their fruit so their blood sugar doesnt spike? I think that tends to happen to me with sugary type things.

Heres to a great day!!

VLCD day 2 and down 6lbs. I felt so horrible yesterday though it was bad couldnt even sleep good. The weird thing is my bp is up too. This is the first round I have done since I had a baby and I have never felt like this on it before. Hopefully things will get better.
I also had a flu shot 5 days ago is that to late to feel bad from that does anyone know? That is just how I felt like I had the flu.

Down .5 for a total of 10 pounds for week one. I stop dosing today for an interruption (I know, too early, but I couldn't keep eating the way I was.. Family in town this weekend, vacation the next.) I feel like this first week will help me control my eating since I have to resume dosing on the 15th. Will keep posting here or on P3 thread for accountability until I can get back in the swing of things.. Good luck all!

Today TOM started and I STS!!! Do you know what this means, if my lifelong history is any indicator? It means I am due for a really nice loss in a day or three. I ALWAYS drop after TOM (prior to which, I stall or gain a bit), sometimes 2-3 lbs. So I'm VERY optimistic!

Buttah - Lol, that's great news! I think I ovulated yesterday because that's when I started feeling tired and now I can barely zip my pants and cramping. Every month I have to deal with ovulation pain and then 2 weeks later TOM. So I am only 8itchy half of the month, lol. I am very strict protocol today, so I wonder if I will retain water today and gain tomorrow. It's like doing an experiment!

I have 2 meals a day. So my fruit is at the end of my meal. I combine everything so my blood sugar won't spike. I also take cinnamon to combat that. I have had pre-diabetes 3 years ago before I lost my weight so I try to be mindful of the blood sugar spikes. Don't want to be classified as pre-diabetic. Good thing my doc didn't because now my blood sugar is perfect!

Well so far today has been good, this morning I ate my apple and my melba toast together and then lunch I just had my phase 2 chili I made. I was not hungry though, didnt even eat my veggies I brought, will eat them this afternoon if I am hungry. I made cukes soaked in vinegar.

Tonight for dinner I plan to have chicken breast on top of salad, I got some Walden Farms dressing to go on it.


We shall see what the scale shows tomorrow, I am excited to lose this weight!

I need to go buy more needles though, I had some from the last time I did HCG, but only have enough to last me till the weekend, I was at Walmart last night but realized you prob have to ask for them at the pharmacy and I was all embarrassed to ask for them. Guess I will have to get over that and go back!

Hello, all! I'm back after an interruption I wasn't planning on having... I'm disappointed, but I gained <1#, so it's not that bad, I suppose. I'm plugging away for another week, then moving to P3. I think the lack of fat & an extra heap of life stressors is making me feel unmotivated. I tried on a bunch of clothes this morning that I fit into last fall... 10 more #s will make all the difference!! I made a ton of green tea & will make some meals to take to work.

STICK WITH IT!!!

I have brutal TOM's, but I prefer it to having the hormones from birth control in my body. You will see a nice drop closer to the end of your cycle. Promise! It's all water weight. You CANNOT gain 3 true pounds of fat overnight.

Have you thought of just not weighing yourself during your TOM?

13 more to lose 50, in how many days? you probably said but my brain isn't functioning at full level.

I don't know if it's the stress or what, but I'm down to 176.8. I'll take it.

I shouldn't have weighed today but I was bored and curious. Oh well.

For those interested, the vet's are now saying it might be the right side of my doggies heart. He has a diuretic for his lungs for the fluid and he'll have a heart ultrasound on Thursday. We need to know which side of the heart it is because the medication for each is completely different.

I try not to be the kind of person to air my relationship issues, but I had a bit of a panic attack and I was really upset and emotional last night. My boyfriend had a bunch of homework to do for school and he chose to do that instead of talking to me on the phone. I'm really hurt and upset by this. I feel like he doesn't understand how much I am hurting and how distressed I am. And the fact that he put his silly stupid homework ahead of me makes me even more upset on top of all the other stuff. I know I'm probably saying this in haste, but it's making me have second thoughts about our relationship.

Hi Mandy,
The fruit I got was apples and oranges for now, couldnt find any strawberries.


For the cukes I just thinly sliced them and put them in a bowl and poured apple cider vinegar on top till they are just about covered and then added water till it was over the top of them and then added pepper and let sit in the fridge over night, super yummy, some people put sliced onion in theirs too, but I dont.

My first hHCG round I lost 27.5, this last round 27.6 (but I had a vacation cheat & loading, so really 15 less LDW). Today is R3P2D2 & I'm down 4.4 to 153.4. My LDW was 150.6 but I put on 7.2 loading

I'm planning on getting to my goal weight this round & then maintain it. I'm looking for support & hope to share my experiences with everyone. I hope to get to 130 or 135 which would be a dream come true.

Hey everyone i was down 1 lb today. I would like to get to 228lb this round. Fingers crossed. Last year i i got down to 236lbs on low carbs and exercising 2 hrs a day. It took me 8 months. Im almost back there again!!!

Ah okay. I sometimes find oranges are too high in sugar, but that's just me.

I also only like mandarin oranges lol. That was my nickname in school. Instead of Mandy, it was Mandarin Orange.

On a side note, my BF was saying some very mean things tonight which I will attribute to him being stressed out. I finally cracked and told him I need a break. I cannot handle everything here while trying to deal with him being unsupportive. I shouldn't have to beg for him support. Quite honestly, being with my dog and taking care of my emotional and physical health is more important than dealing with him right now.

Morning ! R3P2D3 & down 3.2 lbs. I love the first week. The best part I'm now under my last LDW from Round 2. Today I'm at 150.2 & I ended my last round 150.6. Can't wait to see the 140's...

Hi everyone! I'm back doing protocol again for round 4. My last round was a wash since I only lost the weight I gained from loading (a whopping 13 lbs!).

This time I only gained 10 lbs from loading. I know that's more than anyone else gains, but for me, it's less than I gained last time so I'm okay with it.

I started 9/30 loading so today will be p2d2. I'm not hungry at all. I only managed to get in 288 calories yesterday. I'll try to up the calories today because I'm not sure if the low calories are what hindered my weight loss last round.

Good morning ladies! First time posting but I want to be a part of this great thread! I probably can't post much (I don't have the Internet right now and only have my iPhone to post) but I will be reading daily to keep myself inspired!!

I started a week ago and have done 100% protocal. I am doing the injections and plan to do the full 40 days! So far so good, I'm down almost 10lbs and I haven't hardly been hungry. The few first days were really tough because of detoxing but other than that it's been a miracle diet! This is my first round and hopefully will be my last! If I loose 34lbs I will be at my goal weight and that's what I'm hoping for!

Thanks girls for sharing everything, it really does help me!!!!
