HCG and Rx meds ( Antidepressants / beta blockersl)

Is there anyone on Rx meds here who's HCG diet is working? I have had my meds interfere with losing weight. Anyone on beta blockers, antidepressants ect?
Im on amitryptline (Elavil) and Inderal (blood pressure / beta blocker) for constant headaches and migraines.
Wondering if anyone has had issues or is doing fine on them and losing?
I also take pain killers and benzos for sleep aid.
Do I even have a chance here?
Natalie

my meds have got to be the reason, i havent cheated and followed to the letter
i wish people would chime in and help here...
there has got to be more ppl on blood pressure meds or antidepressants.
i low carbed for an entire month on depakote and didnt lose anything so i know its possible and it is a nightmare for me, i am always paranoid at what my meds are gonna do.
I struggle with constant pain and headache but I am so uncomfortable in this fat, I just want to lose this weight!

I take 10mg lisinipril for bp, and 15mg lexapro and 2mg abilify for depression. I have always had good success with hcg so I hope the meds dont make me not lose.

I'm on a beta blocker, antidepressant, antianxiety, thyroid meds, cortisol and more. I've done two short rounds of HCG and I've lost almost 40 pounds.

I don't think your meds should be interfering. I'm thinking your weight loss might be a little slow because you were coming right off of losing weight on low carb. Be patient. I think you will start losing steadily. It will be worth it!

I haven't been dieting for months.
Are you on any pain killers, narcotics?

Ok. What have you been eating? You say you are sticking to plan, but what plan is it? Give us your menu from a few days and we can see if we spot anything. It could be your intolerant (or to put it simply, eating something that causes you to not lose) to a certain food. I know of some people who cannot eat chicken and lose. The same one cannot have apples on P2 and lose. So it could be your food choices and not your meds.

A sample of your menu would go like this: I ate yesterday:

L: chicken (3.5 oz raw, baked with no oils); asparagus (5 or 6 stalks); 1/2 grapefruit; melba
D: chicken (same as above); 1 onion, baked with a tiny bit of beef broth ; 1 apple.
Drinks: 3 cups of coffee; 2 cups of hot tea; 3 32 of of water
Exercise: walk for 20 mins (a moderate stroll) no powerwalking for me!

I ate this/did this yesterday and lost 0.4 !!!!

I was looking on the internet, its hard because people dont really make a database that I know of that poll which medications interfere with diets but I found something saying, with a lot of doctors agreeing, that beta blockers can stall and keep people from losing, and this was about ketogenic diets in general.
I tried a fat fast, which has always worked really well, and I didnt lose an ounce...
Ive never had problems with low carb before I got this headache and started taking meds for it. I was on Depakote and during that time I did induction for a whole month and lost nothing but water weight the first day.
Its been like the twilight zone... this same horrible nightmare every time I try to restart. Ive been going thru this for 2 years now

dawn- lol, I can totally picture you powerwalking.

nat---what do you eat on a daily basis in P2? Menus would help us pinpoint if something else is going on. Oh, and not your fat fasting menus. Your protocol P2 menus please.
