running during P2?

Long story short, I did a round, didn't stabilize because I introduced carbs too quickly since I wanted to get back to running and I had great times if I eat carbs before my running.
Want to try another round but this time, get my body use to running, 3 miles, while doing P2 and then hold back on carbs.
Has anyone ran during P2? And did you stablize?
I'll be doing short runs, like 3-4 miles at a slow pace. I need to keep training as I have a half marathon in a few months. I don't want to stop or put it on hold.

I would NOT recommend that. I have tried running on P2 and while I'm certainly not a regular runner, I couldn't even make it half a mile when I was running 2 before.

I even find that if I go up and down the stairs too much at work, I get quite exhausted. Why don't you try restricting carbs to only right before your run and doing a more Atkins induction style diet? You're asking A LOT of your body to do P2 and expect to be able to run 3 miles. No way jose!

I did it my last round. I felt ok, timed my meals and fruits before and after. But it messed w/ the scale and in P3/P4 messed w/ the scale even worse. It can totally be done, and if you can get past the scale fluctuations I'd do it inP2 so you don't have big gains while trying to stabilize.

:goodpost: I have never exercised on any round, for me that would NOT be a smart move for P2. Now in P3, that's a different story. I was doing a LC version of JUDDD, walking 3 miles on my treadmill 6 days a week and the pounds were flying off. However, I'm more than a number - if my clothes fit well, that's all that matters. :)
