Hi Evo gal, sorry you had that experience. I had something very similar happen to me at the end of a round last summer. I think for me, personally, I was getting a little too low in weight, and then I had fasted for the day, only eating a steak for dinner. I'm almost certain my blood sugar bottomed out, and I had an episode that was very similar to what you described.

I also had a paralysis feeling in my hands and feet for about 30 seconds during this episode, and had to turn the steering wheel over with my elbows to get to the side of the road. It was beyond terrifying. I went home, had an apple, and finished the round 1 day early.

I've never had that problem since then. Are you eating your fruits on P2? I had cut out all fruit and was only eating protein and some veggies. I was also drinking TOO MUCH water, so I'm pretty sure my electrolytes were off in addition to the low blood sugar.

Are you at the low end of a healthy weight-range for your height? Could it be you have lost all of your abnormal fat stores?

Here's what P&I says...

Blood Sugar
Towards the end of a course or when a patient has nearly reached his normal weight it occasionally happens that the blood sugar drops below normal, and we have even seen this in patients who had an abnormally high blood sugar before treatment. Such an attack of hypoglycemia is almost identical with the one seen in diabetics who have taken
too much insulin. The attack comes on suddenly; there is the same feeling of light-headedness, weakness in the knees, trembling, and unmotivated sweating. But under HCG, hypoglycemia does not produce any feeling of hunger. All these symptoms are almost instantly relieved by taking two heaped teaspoons of sugar. In the course of treatment the possibility of such an attack is explained to those patients who are in a phase in which a drop in blood sugar may occur. They are instructed to keep sugar or glucose sweets handy, particularly when driving a car. They are also told to watch the effect of taking sugar very carefully and report the following day. This is important, because anxious patients to whom such an attack has been explained are apt to take sugar unnecessarily, in which case it inevitably produces a gain in weight and does not dramatically relieve the symptoms for which it was taken, proving that these were not due to hypoglycemia. Some patients mistake the effects of emotional stress for hypoglycemia. When the symptoms are quickly relieved by sugar this is proof that they were indeed due to an abnormal lowering of the blood sugar, and in that case there is no increase in the weight on the following day. We always suggest that sugar be taken if the patient is in doubt. Once such an attack has been relieved with sugar we have never seen it recur on the immediately subsequent days, and only very rarely does a patient have two such attacks separated by several days during a course of treatment. In patients who have not eaten sufficiently during the first two days of treatment we sometimes give sugar when the minor symptoms usually felt during the first there days of treatment continue beyond that time, and in some cases this has seemed to speed up the euphoria ordinarily associated with the HCG method.\

You could try to eat an orange instead if you dont want to do the sugar....

I hear ya on that. The first thing I skip is the veggie because I hate the ones on the list. I mean really hate them. So I decide to cut them out. I need to get better about eating them too. Did you feel better after the orange? Or are you still getting lightheadedness? I know that potassium and magnesium will help with lightheadedness too. Make sure you are getting some. I take 8 OTC potassium pills a day.

The veggiez are bad- i am so sick of lettuce and boiled radishes. I did feel better after the orange, it helped. Most of the time i am fine but there are times i feel like i am so hungry that if i dont eat something i am going to lose it. I am still trying to figure out if this is actual hunger or all in my head- had very intense sugar cravings last 2 days- wondering if i am going thru some sort of detoxification. I do take magnesium but no potassium.

My muscles have been feeing weak for days. My legs feel a bit weak every time I walk up stairs (we have a big huge staircase in our house, so that's a lot). Still doing my little daily walks (since that's all I was doing before HCG), but still. I do worry that I'm losing muscle. Anyone else have this experience?

I have learned to love asparagus cooked on parchment paper in the oven. Salt, pepper and onion powder. Yum.

my problem was I was over dosing. I was doing 250IU when I should have been doing 125IU- need to read instructions a little better... My weakness is gone since I corrected it.

Sounds like yours was hunger/starvation weakness, though. Mine is definitely in the muscles.
