Nothing wrong with Paleo, but you must stick to the standard P3 rules if you want to stabilize properly. You can absolutely do a Paleo-compliant P3, but the specificity of no starch or sugar and weight correction outside of your window is not strictly Paleo.
On Paleo, for example you could have pineapple or even some sweet potato. On P3, however, it is a no-go. If you make Paleo choices within the rules of P3, you'll do very well. And it is highly recommended to do P4/lifetime maintenance in a Paleo fashion. But absolutely do the proper duration and rules of P3 if you want to succeed long term, and if you're a Paleo fan just make the P3-compliant choices appropriately ancestral and you'll be good to go
