Ok, folks. I do have rebound weight gain from the apple day today. But I am still happy I did it!! I am not seeing the stall weight on the scale!!! So I am thrilled. Looking forward to what the scale brings tomorrow.
Ladies--after 4 c-sections I know I will never get rid of my tummy pouch. Even at 113 (yes, I got that low on my 3rd round of hhcg) I still had some hanging skin. So it won't go away for me unless I get it cut off. And I have no money to do that. So will have to learn how to disguise it. That is another reason I will not get into a size 2, and while others at my height and current weight can wear a size 2.

Natalie-
I found a substitute for that 1 TBS of milk- I just couldn't stomach it anymore..I'm a half and half girl normally. Yesterday, I started using a Coconut Milk Dairy Free Creamer made by "So Delicious". I had an excellent loss today so, I don't think it's going to hurt me at all. It lightens the coffee- just like cream and tastes pretty darn good! 0 Fat, 1 Carb per TBS. The carton states 1g of sugar.. it's still less than milk. No way I can do 40 more days without having my coffee; it's something that I really enjoy. And need. ![]() PS- I hate Stevia, too- as well as the rest of them!! Quote:

Dawn - keep us posted. I just read a great thread on stalls and their main focus was...they happen..just keep on truckin..We can DO THIS!
Okay, so I am reading about how important the loads are yada yada yada. I am doing the best I can, but have had issue with constipation and I feel like I am so packed that there isn't anymore room!! Sorry TMI. I blame it on my Mexico trip..I've been messed up since. Will a DETOX Bath help? ![]() This is what I have had so far: Yesterday - Load Day 1 Breakfast=2 atkins protein bars (38g protein & 24g fat total) & coffee Lunch=Lemon Basil chicken breast, green beans, mashed potatoes & HUGE cookie Dinner=Foot Long Tuna Salad sandwich, 2 bags of chips, 2 slices of pizza and a cookie Today - load Day 2 Breakfast=1 atkins protein bar & coffee (12g fat, 19g protein) Lunch=Ground Beef Taco Salad, with sour cream, rice, queso and ate the big shell Snack = Strawb & Creme Frap 17g Fat Dinner= Thinking about getting a strawberry thingy at Starbucks...they are FULL of fat.

Hey everyone!
Berta & Temeka - Congrats on your losses ladies! I'm super excited for you! ![]() Reddy - Hope everything is okay ![]() Susan - I always feel ridiculously packed full after my loads. Then I literally poop out a small child and I feel so much better. I always make sure to tell my BF all about it I can't believe he still loves me I admit to taking oral laxatives on occasion because I'm in so much pain that I can't even stand it. I will only take a certain brand though because I don't get any cramping with it. I don't think I can post the name here?Oh, and also, last night I had a caramel frapp at Starbucks and it was SINFUL!!!! ![]() Everyone else - I read all your posts, I just couldn't think of something good enough to reply with! -- I haven't actually eaten yet today. I went against my own promise and got on the scale this morning. 183. I guess that's not horrible. 5lbs from being sick and loading. Oh well. It's interesting how having the runs actually makes you gain weight. No more weighing until Friday morning. Also, prepare yourself for this announcement... I have decided to go cold turkey with the diet sodas. No more. Only water. I'm terrified. hahahaha I am a bonafide diet soda addict. ![]()

Mandy - You go girl!! I hate soda, so that's an easy one for me, but thinking about no coffee. OMG I can't believe I just said it, but was thinking about having one day a week as a treat with coco milk. At least going to give it a try, maybe I will end up drinking more water. I LOL'd at work when I read your post. Lord, I hope that happens soon! I need something to move, and of course my bf says he can help, but I tell him hell to tha no!

Oh okay. I use Exlax. Sometimes I'll take 1 a day, but then if it's really bad I'll take 2 at night and then in the morning I'm all fixed!

2nd Loading Day and 2nd day of injections
I tried not to go too crazy on the carbs yesterday but more of getting some fat. Ive been low carbing about 5 months and I hurled after eating 3 bites of pizza yesterday (just couldnt handle the bloat)... So I focused on fatty meats, olives, avocados.
I am injecting 225 iu at my Dr's recommendation. My Dr says I can load 2-3 days... I hate to load 3 if its making me gain.. Any advice? Also I am preparing to shop and have meals ready for the next few days... I sure could use some help.. Im a single guy... Not the best cook..lol |

I'm not really knowledgable about injection HCG, but 225 seems kinda high to me? I could be totally off though. Just seems high from what I've seen so far. You should make some fat bombs. I will find the recipe for you. You could also make some cream cheese clouds. |

I've never heard of anyone doing 225iu either. That does seem like a lot. The Simeons dose was 125iu for everyone. My clinic does 150iu for everyone.
But search in the recipe thread. The P2 chili with fire roasted tomatoes is really good, and you can make a double batch (although I get paranoid about diving it evenly). I also put a cabbage and dijon chicken recipe in there that I make almost every day. I like it when the veggies and protein can be cooked all in one pan. And before HCG, I couldn't cook anything! Okay Ravr, here's the fat bomb recipe.
Recipe Ingredients for Fat Bomb 1 cup peanut butter (sugar free) 1 cup coconut oil 1 stick butter 1/4 cup pecan pieces 30 - 35 Stevia drops (or liquid sweetner) 2 squares baker chocolate, unsweetened 2 tbs butter Recipe Directions for Fat Bomb Melt PB, butter coconut oil and chocolate til easy to mix. Line 24 tin mini muffin pan with liners or use a silicon pan. Plop a few pecan pieces in the bottom of each liner then fill with the PB, chocolate, oil and butter mixture. Set in the fridge to solidify. And I'll post the cream cheese cloud recipe in a second... These are from Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes CREAM CHEESE CLOUDS 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 1/2-3/4 cup granular Splenda or equivalent liquid Splenda * 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or other flavoring Beat everything with an electric mixer until fluffy. Drop by bite-size spoonfuls onto a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze until firm, at least 1 hour. Store in the freezer and eat frozen. Note from Mandy: I would recommend using the 3/4 cup granular splenda and also MAKE SURE it's unsalted butter. Last edited by manders; 09-25-2012 at 06:27 PM.. |

Mandy-you're killing me!!
I had homemade chicken broth in the freezer already, not sure if you wanted that recipe? I "sauteed" diced onions and celery in chicken broth first, then threw them into the crock pot. I cut up the chicken breast and sauteed that in some seasonings and more broth, until lightly browned. Threw that in the crock pot then filled w. chicken broth, salt, garlic, onion powder, pinch of cayenne, stir and let it cook all day. It was so good!! The homemade broth really makes it. Warm, yummy and comforting!! ravr-check out the sticky w/ P2 recipes on there. I love burgers, asian chicken lettuce wraps, P2 chili, and garlic lemon shrimp. You can do it!!Just took some ibuprofen. Not feeling good See you tomorrow! |

Miralax works for bathroom dilemmas... Takes a couple days but no cramps , it doesn't force it like everything else. It was my saving grace during pregnancy. Exlax is like a punishment...

![]() I agree the dose is very high. If you find yourself hungry, think about scaling back. Too much hcg is often worse than too little and it will manifest itself as hunger. Here are some recipes. The skillet meals are great and fill you up. One pan, just a couple of ingredients--my favorite! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salad dressings: Start with... 2T broth (beef, chicken or veggie) 2T apple cider or red wine vinegar 1/4t salt 1/4t pepper For Italian add... 1t Italian seasoning 1/4t garlic powder 1/4t onion powder For honey mustard add... 1T mustard (yellow or brown but check ingredients for sugar) 5 drops plain stevia or 1/2 packet Splenda or Sweet 'n Low For a creamier dressing use... 2T Walden Farms Caesar, Ranch or Blue Cheese dressing in place of one T of broth and one T vinegar For a different taste use... 2T orange juice, lemon juice or lime juice in place of the vinegar Switch up spices. I like... 1t curry or 1t shallot pepper or 1t dill or 1t sage or 1t cumin "Skillet" meals: (if you are NOT eating the grissini/melba, increase your evening veggie portion to 200g/7oz) Broth 1/4-1/2c, depending on how saucy you like it Chicken Beef Veggie Protein 100g/3.5oz raw chicken breast lean ground beef shrimp crab meat langostino tails Veggie 100g/3.5oz raw Belgian endive Cabbage Bok choy Celery Chinese cabbage Spices Onion powder Garlic powder Salt Pepper plus... Italian - 1T Italian seasoning (works best with chicken or beef plus endive or cabbage) Mexican - 1T chili powder, 1t cumin, couple of dashes tobasco or tapatio (works best with chicken or beef plus cabbage or endive) Asian - 1T soy sauce or Braggs liquid aminos (works with all) Lemon pepper - 1t lemon pepper, 1T fresh lemon juice (work best with chicken or seafood plus any veggie) Add broth to skillet. Add veggie and spices and cook to just before desired doneness. Add raw protein and cook until done (the protein cooks so fast that it's best to add it at the end). Optional: sprinkle with Guar or Xanthan gum (available at most healthfood stores) in a salt shaker for a thicker sauce--a little goes a VERY long way so sprinkle with caution! **DO NOT OVERDO AS IT IS A STARCH AND COULD STALL YOU. Panfried White Roughy Sprinkle a filet of Swai (white roughy--available at Ralph's and TJ's), grouper, cod, orange roughy or other white fish with salt and pepper. Heat skillet until hot. Add fish. Cook on one side for 3 mins. Flip and cook until fish flakes easily--about 2 more minutes. Serve with salad or stirfried veggies.

Morning all! Ok VLCD1 for me. Only gained a lb in loading, but still nothing moving on the tummy issues. I have tried over the counter pills and those never work on me. I could take a whole box of exlax and nothing would happen. If I have coco oil in my coffee every morning, that seems to do the trick. So I am sipping on coffee now after I said I wouldn't, but damn, I seriously look pg!! Someout there pray for me!

sas, have you tried Sennokot tablets (natural senna laxative that is what works in Smooth Move tea?)
Even better... Natural Calm (magnesium citrate). Worked like a charm for me, almost immediately, and every day since I started taking it. Also helps you sleep like a baby (take at night - your body NEEDS the magnesium). Ex lax is really not good for you, anyway! Miralax is less bad for you, but both are extremely addicting. Those muscles get used to needing a shove. Lexi, Spanx are great, but they sure don't lift my tummy skin up back where it came from. All they do is smash my pouch down, but not enough. Thing has to come off. C-sections suck. Temeka, good for you! Berta, you're a losing machine. And I need to find that taco salad recipe! (But do you really use SOUR CREAM on P2? You are so brave!) Shelby, what is the "italian seasoning" recipe? Sorry if I missed it! Everyone I've missed - so sorry. I'll catch you later when I'm awake. Well, I'm finally down a BIT this morning. Phew. Not a whoosh, but still... down. Will post the exact number once I've done my morning coffee/bathroom routine (when I always get my official weight).

Not exactly a whoosh, but something! And yesterday I skipped one fruit and both "breads" but had a 1/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese between dinner and bedtime (when I usually have the second fruit). Robin has been suggesting the cottage cheese for me. My body felt so grateful. It needs more protein, I just know it. Will do the same again today. |

Buttah-
I'm so glad you're down!! WOOHOO!! I think your body liked that extra protein . Good for you sticking w. it through the stall!! So hard!! Ravr-you'll do great. I agree w. the others. If huger is a problem, ask for a lower dose. If not, you're doing great!! Berta-you're a losing machine!! WTG!! Sas-sorry for your troubles. It'll straighten itself out. I second the magnesium. That plus my morning coffee=success! Tameka-you're doing fine. If you had pork and are down - go w. it!! I'm up a lb today . I'm assuming it's either too much salt in my yummy soup yesterday, the stupid cold, or just delayed water retention from Monday night's softball game. Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to it leaving. I had 4+ mugs of hot tea last night for my throat and maybe my kidneys just couldn't keep up w. all that liquid? I broke down and took a sudafed this morning. It's helping some Have a great hump day everyone!! ![]() |
