I think I need to find a reason to get to 140. I never really had one, other than being able to wear a lot of the stuff I couldn't wear before like fitted blouses, high-waisted skirts, sleeveless dresses, etc. But now, I CAN wear all of those. It sounds superficial, but getting to 140 for me is all vanity. I work in an extremely superficial industry. I made this image to keep myself motivated though. I would REALLY love to be able to wear a bikini confidently one day.
I can tell in your face you have lost. You've motivated me to take some pics tonight. I just hope my bf isn't around....he despises this diet! I am having to sneak my shots and not sure how I will hide the non-eating!! I feel so FAT today, I will take my before shots tonight. I don't like loading because you already feel like a lard-a$$ and then you pig out more. HA HA!

Yes! Definitely. Loading is gross. I don't enjoy it anymore lol do take some pics! before and afters are so fun.

I decided to add a countdown app onto my iPhone so that I can countdown the next 23 days.

I am 3 months post partum and restarted Depo on aug 6th and I guess it just decided to come. Its very very light tho but Im def bloated. Ughh. Pretty bummed cuz its so early in the round and it just plain stinks. Im praying with drinking some special teas, lotsa water and what not that ill lose it right away. Was down .2 this AM.. lol whoopdedoo. I just hope it doesnt last long!

My goal is to try to get back to my normal preprego weight of 138-140. Im at 164 right now. Was 192 at delivery. I lost 135 lbs in 2005-2006 doing low carb and have kept it off but this baby weight is takin forever so hence why Im tryin HCG. Nice to meet everyone! Happy Losing!!

Oh and one other ?... what are ppls thoughts on using coconut oil. There are so many ppl that swear by it and I never had gains when using it before HCG but its def not protocol...
Welcome! I did HCG to lose the baby weight too! It worked and I lost it and then some. Well first I lost 18lbs doing atkins but it took over 4 months. Then I did two rounds of HCG and lost another 25-30!!! I was at my heaviest wheN i got pregnant (173) and when I delivered I was around 230lbs!!! (I'm 5'10) Took me almost a year but I did it! That's what's amazing about HCG.. it really works if you follow it and it works FAST! Wishing you the best of luck. Oh and I agree with Dawn about sticking to protocol. IT works. When you experiment, you can be playing with fire a bit!

Whatever it worked I will wait til tomorrow to see if there is rebound weight, but just know I am excited!!! I can soo feel it in my clothes too. So I must have dropped inches too.
SO So SOOOO happy for you! How much did you drop from it? I totally hear you on how apples become repulsive after you have eaten like 3 and it's all you've had. I did enjoy the apple chips I made but if not for that I wouldn't have made it! So happy that you are in new territory and feel it in your clothing!

I am not sure where you posed the question but you asked why I chose steak over Egg. I did it just b/c I was up even more this morning and I am almost 5lbs out of window so I figured I'd go with Steak day which seems tired and true where as some people have had mixed experience with Eggs. I will probably try eggs if I need another CD in the future though!

Um... I'd say that the ecoli in the meat could certainly be to blame for your illness. Ugh... So sorry you went through that. Being sick can REALLY throw off the diet. You look amazing in your photos. Like you are so pretty in both but you can definitely tell your face is thinner on the right! I 100% get wanting to lose so you can wear whatever you want and all that. That's a huge thing for me. Not having clothing to wear. And in your business all the more important. I would LOVE to be able to wear a Bikini again too. My body is almost there but the stretch marks from Pregnancy will keep me from wearing one again (until I get them lasered off!)

You've inspired me to want to share some photos. I need to do "before and afters" or at least post a pic from this weekend.

That's RIGHT! I was confusing the breaking of the stall with a CD! Thanks for clearing that up!

Oh thank you LOL I have stretch marks just from being a fatty. That's part of the reason I go tanning, it hides them. Aren't we so lucky that our men love us no matter what?

Yeah, I was SO sick. I cringe even thinking about it.

Instead of clicking the word "quote", you'll want to click the button to the right of it with the quotation marks. That will save that post and once you do that to all the posts you want, you can click the "post reply" button at the bottom on the left and write out your replies.

Manders, switch to spray tanning (the good kind, where a human does it - I go to a place that uses totally natural moisturizing stuff). You will regret real tanning when you're older, trust me!

I wish I had taken before pictures. I'm sure I can drudge some up somewhere. I would never post my face here - it's just too scary for me professionally, but I would do a body shot. Oh well.

Reddy, I hope the steak day works for you. Please let us know (I'm sure you will).

And Oh how I wish HCG was around (or in popular use) after I had my kids! Or just if I'd known about it 3-5 years ago (or maybe I did, but I heard it was "dangerous" and looked no further).

I can't stand spray tanning. I think it's gross and can't stand it.

It's taken a lot of consideration, but the benefits of moderate tanning for me are so many (externally and internally), it's really worth it. If anyone could make an educated decision about it, it would be me.

I just learned about the multiquote too! Before I was copying and pasting and it was a Pain!!!

I did take formal before pics but they are so gross I can't post them anywhere or share them. And I don't have proper "afters" anyway.

BUT I just uploaded some photos to my album on here to show my "progress"

I'd like to add more but then they will be all out of order which drives me nuts and I can't figure out how to order them!!!

I tan moderately too. Used to tan a lot and even fake bake but I know better now. And my father just had some bad skin cancer b/c my whole family is vain and lives for being tan and it caught up. Not worth it.

But i live in Florida and like to get some color.

As for Stretch marks, I had some on my legs and sides and boobs pre pregnancy but now I have full on DEEP tiger stripes on my belly. I should show a true "before" photo where I'm in a bikini on my HoneyMoon. Weighed abut the same as I do now but I looked so much better!

Dang kids eh. Stretch marks can be pretty hard to get rid of. Are you going to wait until after your second baby to try treating them? And on that note, WHEN is second baby gonna be happening?!

Yep. It's all about moderation and smart tanning. I also kill two birds with one stone and whiten my teeth in there.

Yeah I'm going to wait until I'm done and then have them lasered off. I'll also have a lift and reduction!

I just lost all this weight so I'm not rushing to get pregnant again. I'm 32 so I don't want to wait TOO long to have another and I used to think I'd want to have them close in age, but I finally have my body back and want to enjoy it. Maybe in like 6 months or so I'll think about it again. Also I'd really like to enjoy my son a little longer just us before we mix things up!

Good plan!

I'm sad to say that I haven't had any kids and my boobs are in need of a lift already. Guess I'll wait until after I have them.

I think 2-3 years between kids is a good number.

Well, guys, do what you gotta do, but I'm 55 and people think I'm 40. And by that I mean LA 40 (lol). I have stayed out of the sun and the tanning bed since around age 28/30. Still, I've had to have several pre-cancerous spots sliced off my torso due to sun exposure - luckily not my face - and I have to be checked regularly, possibly for the rest of my life. Listen, I TOTALLY get people doing things that aren't healthy (we all do or we wouldn't be here!), but I don't get people claiming unhealthy things are somehow... healthy. I come from a family of doctors (you name the specialty we got 'em), and my BFF is a dermatologist. And that's all I gotta say on the matter.

Although one more thing (I lied)... judging from my friends, aging REALLY speeds up after the mid-forties. It's like you can look in the mirror and SEE it happening. So be warned.

Luckily we have amazing "gourmet" spray tan artists here in LA-LA land. I go to a place called Chocolate Sun (you can look up what they use - it's all organic and ah-mazing). I only do it for special events and more below the neck. When you're a bit older, nice natural skin looks way better than cooked skin. Takes make-up better too.

On other skin matters, my stomach unfortunately became a big wide hanging BOOB after My C-sections, a pouch of skin that no exercise will ever get rid of. The whole reason I got motivated to finally lose the weight was to have the tummy tuck. The surgeons I met with told me to lose 20-25 for a great result, and since then I'm down 30 and still going (and wouldn't you know, the more I lose the worse the stomach boob gets). Luckily most of my stretch marks are in the part that will come off! The boobs will be lifted, too.

I can respect that. I know it's a risk that I'm taking.

I have noticed in the past month that my stomach seems to be tightening up, actually. Once I got below 180, it was like something changed in my body and I have almost no cellulite left on the back of my thighs. My pooch is getting tighter too. What bothers me most now is actually my arms. They don't seem to be getting any smaller. The skin is a bit loose near my underarms and I have to be careful about the shirts I wear or it really makes me arms look like bat wings. I'm not interested in having abs or anything, I don't even care if I have a tiny pooch on my tummy, just as long as it's not a SAGGY one. That looks the worst. It's like dog jowls.

Manders, if I recall, you're really young. Nobody worries about the sun when they're young, so enjoy!

And you are so smart for tackling your weight issues now (take it from someone who put it off since the last baby was born 16 years ago). Your skin really should rebound very well.

I do worry about it a bit so I take really good care of my skin otherwise.

I hope it will rebound well. I've been significantly overweight for about 7-8 years now with quite a bit of yo-yo dieting in there. This is the most I've ever lost and it's my final time losing this weight. Over my dead body I'll get fat again.

Buttah are you saying that I'm doomed to have this pouch forever b/c of my c section? I kind of already know the answer.

I was looking at all the before photos (I added them to my profile here) and my belly was HUGE. OMG. I don't know how I walked around like that for so long.

I also have to say that the signs of aging for me started around 28. I remember I went to see a dermatologist before my wedding about getting my skin in better shape and she suggested Botox to me. I was like HUH? I need botox? I started crying right there in her office.

I have pretty deep lines in my forehead already which I assume sun exposure is partly to blame. I also have deep "11's" Already!

I don't know what your pouch looks like. But typically, the kind of pouch I'm talking about does NOT go away without a knife. The skin is stretched out. check out some plastic surgery before and afters and see if that's what you have. I CAN tell you it is what I have. Luckily I can hide it in certain clothes, because I'm pretty small in my "high waist." But not all of it. I know that when it shows, it makes me look heavier than I really am because it's "lower" than a stomach should be.

The skin fairy seems to have blessed my face, truly. And below my upper thigh I have the legs, calves and ankles of some mystery person who was never overweight. Still, my stomach and arms are shot. We all got somethin' I guess.

And it's a small price to pay for our KIDS!!!

Yeah, my tummy will never be the same. Until about 20lbs ago I seriously looked the same as I did at 20 weeks. It's like my uterus never went back down or something. The skin is definitely stretched out and blubbery. I am not opposed to getting it all fixed up later. But not until I'm done with having kids.

But I agree, every stripe and every thing I have going on is all worth it b/c my lil guy is the BEST!

I'm on my last loading evening and I just found taco chips in the cupboard. Is it wrong that I almost fainted from excitement?
