Anyone starting this week (9/23/12)?
Looking for some buddies to go through the next 23 days with. To be honest, I am not looking forward to doing this. I've done it twice before with great success but then turned around and enjoyed life a little bit too much. Now I am back where I started. I'm ready to make it stick this time and stop fooling around.
So who is loading or getting ready for their first week? Today was Load Day 1 for me and I did LOAD. I think I loaded enough for 2 people. Tomorrow it will be Olive Garden and then I will start LC Day 1 on Tuesday. I'm looking for good tasting, fat free, sugar free salad dressings. I cannot handle Walden Farms this round. They taste like chemicals. Any suggestions? So again, just looking for someone to go on this journey with me through all the bad and good times. We can encourage each other and have a place to go when we need to get out of the kitchen. Here I (we) go!!! |

Hi Donna! You are me to a "T" and I NEED a buddy too. I started this time last year and lost 25 lbs (first go). Since then I have lost and re-gained. I am an emotional eater 100% so I am reading books and also focusing on how to end that because I will never be free of fat until I get a hold on control! I am secretly on the diet because my bf hates when I am on Hcg, so this is the only support I will get. I have 23 shots left from last time (kept them in freezer for emergency)
So I have enough for short round. After that I will determine if I need more. I look forward to being here for you and whoever else wants to join our group! Just took a shot so I guess I will start loading!

Hi Sas! If that is you in your profile pic, you look great! Do you workout while on HCG? I seem to be an all or nothing kinda girl. If I'm dieting I'm walking or something. If I'm not dieting, I'm a slug. WELCOME and good luck with loading. HI HappyChick! I will be over to visit your thread but I like to be accountable with others that are starting at the same time as me. It just helps motivate me. If I see someone on their last days, it makes me feel like I want to be on my last days too. I really need to change my attitude about this diet. Why am I dreading it so badly? I know it works! The food isn't all that bad. I'm only doing 21 days! Anyone can diet consistently for 3 weeks right? Day 2 loading underway... ![]() |

Donna - LOL, I just now figured out how to change that pic. I avidly worked out for 4 years (2008-2011), 2 of those 4 with a trainer 3x per week. I was about 158ish in that pic, but lean! I miss that so much! When I did my first round of hcg (this time last year) I stopped working out and haven't since
all that muscle is Loooong Gooone. I do still have a membership and WILL work out 3 times a week, lightly though. My arms have just gotten too flabby. I can't stand it. According to those BMI calculators, I am only few pounds overweight, so I don't appear to be, but I am miserable at 170. I suffer from Edema in my feet and if I go over 155, it's the biggest hassle. Pain, swelling to where my toes don't even rest on the ground, joint pain, can't stand. It sux!! lol That is my main motivation this time. I felt fantastic in the 140s and didn't have to deal with any of that. Hope to see you on the other thread! Lots of posters! |

Day 1 of VLC... ugh... that is all I can say. Holding strong... barely...
I hate that I get so crabby when I can't eat the foods I want. I wore tight shorts today. It made me not want to eat. I guess that is positive. UGH! |

Day 2 and still surviving!
Started at 157.2 yesterday and drum roll please!!!!! Weighed 154.6 this morning!!! I knew these first few pounds would come off fast because they came on in the last few weeks. Good riddens! Had a Cracker Barrel grilled chicken salad for lunch with my own dressing. Came home and had an apple. Now gonna have a burger and salad for dinner. 19 days to go. Hoping for a loss of 15-18lbs... |

So glad I found this forum and thread! I started on Saturday. First time I've done HCG so I have tons of questions. Today was Day 5 of VLC. My stats so far:

I am struggling with perhaps starting again. I did my first full round in Oct. 2010. I lost 28 pounds in 32 days. I didn't reset right...and have gained it all back plus five. My husband does NOT want me to do HCG again. I DO.

I'm on day 3, the hunger is slowly getting better, I think...
Need to drink more water... I've learned I still don't like fish and I prefer shrimp cold Wish we could have tartar sauce, ill be looking for more recipes this week. Hope everyone is having a good and easy night |

![]() uscgmom- you are doing great. The pounds are falling off! WOO HOO amap- I hear you about restarting. I tried low carb and yes I lost but it was so slow. I knew I could lose on HCG so here I am. I too get very cranky. I don't really have time to read all the HCG threads but I know they came out with pellets instead of drops if you do HHCG. I prefer the pellets. I know some combine foods too or go rogue. I like to keep it simple. It seems like last time I did this and started making recipes, I ate more because I was in the kitchen more. I've done HHCG twice and both times, I left for cruises soon after and back the weight came. I'm hoping this time that I can do better. nspeedracer: are you taking shots, drops or pellets? I haven't had any hunger but just a want for food. I hear you about the tartar sauce! I just want melted butter! We both can have that in less than 19 days!! So, how much are you all hoping to lose? Are you eating anything special or keeping it simple? Have any of you gotten the carb headache yet? I finally took something for mine. I knew I would get one this time since I have been eating junk food all summer. Time to get healthy!!! once again! |

I'm with ya! Tomorrow is VLCD1 for me, I'm not weighing, I know some don't agree with that but the scale is the devil to me, I start obsessing and it's just awful. I'm focusing on clean eating, pre-planning/preparing meals and staying focused on my goal which is to get back to my pre-baby body. Baby is now 3!! This is my first go at HCG, but I feel pretty prepared and I've read P&I and I've watched several of Robins vids. So here we go...starting with a short round to see how it goes, might extend it but trying to focus on the today...one day at a time.

Hey guys
So this is my 3rd round that i've done over the last two years. I'm taking 3 pellets 3x per day and trying to space them as close to 8 hours apart as possible to keep a constant 'flow'. Does anyone want to post daily losses and meals? I'll be doing a short round as well |

msrealtor...I totally agree with you about the weighing thing. I don't like weighing every day at all. Even though I'm losing, I start to over analyze what I ate, if I ate one less strawberry would it be more, etc. etc. I would love to start posting our daily menus here, too!
Abby1983...sounds like you are off to a good start. Definitely in for posting daily losses and meals! I'm starving today...not a good sign! And I know that .6 is a loss, but I was hoping for at least a pound every day. Hi guys!! Today has been surprisingly well...so far lol. I have class tonight so we will see how it goes. I cooked food last night to last 5 days, so I grilled some chicken breasts seasoned with garlic and black pepper. I sautéed some cabbage with garlic and a splash of chicken broth. Cut up celery, apples, cucumbers, and strawberries.
So today's menu so far: B- green tea and lemon and the ACV/water S-cucumbers splashed with ACV, lemon juice, salt and pepper L-grilled chicken breast Planning to have: S- strawberries S-cabbage D-chicken breast again S-apple Water water water at lease 3 liters. |

I'm in hawaii we don't have Walden farms ...
I'm on day four and I'm freaking out cause I lost four pounds the first day and I haven't lost anything since :0 I've been following the right foods and weighing the food. I didn't have any grissini and only one fruit yesterday... Why am I not losing? Natalie the neurotic |

I've been having cottage cheese for a protein each day, but I had it the day I lost too tho...
Had an apple, cabbage in broth soup, cucumber in acc. Today is strawberry, grissini, chicken in romaine lettuce and cottage cheese,ill make sure to have everything today. Yesterday was the only day I didn't eat enough. Sorry so neurotic... |

I'm finding that alllll my darn spices in my cabinet have sugar!! So disappointing. Anyway I have a splitting headache, my menu ended up as I planned so hopefully the pain is worth it lol. I did take some bc powder for the headache though. Glad to see everyone! Hi Shelby!! I finally started..trying to stay..no I WILL commit to a clean round.

good morning everyone!
hi muffles ![]() speedracer - try cutting down your cottage cheese consumption to a couple times per week. i can lose on it but not nearly as well as with a meat protein. i buy those single servings (skim) so a big container doesnt go bad before i eat it. if you get sick of meat, try having an egg + 3 egg whites instead. and if you are on three days of no weight loss, i would definitely try an apple day. that should give you a nice drop! hope this helps the whoosh fairy came today!! im down 3.2, so i'm going to eat the same thing as i did yesterday to see if it was a fluke or what vlcd7 - 149.8 - down 7.2 pounds hope everyone has a great morning! |
