hcg and working
Hi, I haven't started this yet, but I intend to as soon as my drops arrive. I just have a concern about whether it's possible to fully function at work while doing this diet. I still need to do all my usual stuff... Has fatigue been a problem for you all?

I was one of those people whose hunger did not go away for well over a week (I do rx through a doctor, and we believe the fact that I'd already been dieting and losing for months may have made my "load" inadequate.) It was gnawing stomach hunger, not mental appetite hunger, and it was very stressful because I knew that was not how HCG is supposed to feel. I could not have gone to a traditional job during those early days, however I believe with the way I feel now, it would be possible.
I know that others are fine, though, and you may be as well.

I have done multiple rounds and have a very high stress job that requires a lot of concentration and attention to detail (I design software). Other than the odd bit of lightheadedness and occasional hunger at mealtimes, I didn't have any issues. I usually get low blood sugar if I don't eat but I didn't experience any of that with either hhCG or rx hCG.

I'm a tax accountant. I worked and did hcg with the strict 500-calorie protocol through 3 different tax seasons, because I did it 3 different Januarys. The only thing I would say is the first time you do it, you detox from any sugars and chemicals and it was pretty rough through about day 5 - headache, achy. If you can detox from that stuff BEFORE you begin to load, for a week or so, eat plenty of protein, and then do a low-carb, high-fat load, I think you could skip most of that. That's just my opinion. The other times I did it, it wasn't so bad because I never went back to really eating that much cr@p.
Don't give up coffee at the same time, if you're a coffee drinker, because IMHO the protocol is much easier with coffee, if you can have it black.

I work in a lab and I'm on my feet for most of the day. I do a lot of calculations and I noticed the first few days I felt a little foggy and had to really double check myself. I think that was partially due to the slight headache. That feeling only lasted a few days though. I haven't found that it made the physical portion of my work any more difficult.

I have a job and can do P2 while doing it! I work at Chick Fil A so I have to dodge temptation at every single turn. I mean milkshakes, chocolate chip cookies, brownies.....I see these every single day and have to make the desserts. And then I have a physically demanding job---carrying heavy boxes and the beverages, as well as standing for up to 6 hours a day. I can hack it, so can you!!!! You will be fine!
What kind of job do you have? |

I use a laser on people's bodies at work and I function.
![]() I do find however, that I sometimes get really shaky so if I'm doing a set of nails, I have to try extra hard to make my lines nice. The only time I get mental fogginess is when I cheat, actually. |

Thank you ,this is really encouraging! I work with 6 playcentres, so sometimes I am with the children, sometimes with the adults...either way it is very active.
I am hoping to start this in the weekend , because I have the school holidays off. Still waiting for my drops! Most stuff takes about 2 weeks to arrive here, I just hope my drops don't get held up in customs. |

Yes, customs can be tricky. Don't believe we have had a New Zealander here yet though. But Canadians customs and even US customs for the Rx---crazy stuff!! Hope you get yours soon!!!
