ROUND 7 OF P2.....

will be starting soon for me. I'm almost 20 pounds from my lowest and I need to get a reign on this. My husband said I can lose weight w/o hcg and I know I can too (and have many times), but it needs be low carb. The last two rounds were a waste in my opinion and I didn't end them the way I was supposed to.

I did JUDDD and it works well for me, but again I need to keep it LC or I'll get too carried away. I kept a food journal, but was letting it get out of hand. I just placed my order for a bottle of Intermountain hhcg pellets and will post when I load.

Glad I'm not alone!

I feel you. I'm going through the same thing and I'm 20lbs away from my lowest too. Sometimes I wonder if this WOE is actually worth the trouble...
and I recently read Weight Loss Apocolypse, lots of really valid points in that book. I struggle with not overdoing it when I get off p2... how to control the cravings or revert back to old bad eating habits that undo the reset that you experience with hcg. I dont want to keep doing this over and over, I want to get to my goal and stay there.

I think the key is not overeating, small meals lots of protein but its not as easy as that. I wish that I could simply not miss food but I do. Skipping meals helps. If I could only eat like p2 times two 1000 cals a day with lots of fat I'm sure that I would maintain and or loose. Hope we discover the key to this.

And no one really gets it sometimes, they say cant you do WW or calorie count but they dont really get it. Sometimes it too exhausting to explain so I just say yeah thats possible. =)

You ladies are just telling my story !!!
I wouldn't even go into details but I just un-did my previous round result and I am correcting that with a lot of struggles

I decided to keep on going until I reach my goal, taking refeed here and there (for special or necessary occasions). Now I am back up to being 20lbs away from my goal weight (it was only about 10ish away at the end of my previous round ). I am using hhcg.

Anyway --Lara said it very well; I wish and hope we will somehow figure out the fix to not undoing the hard work we put into (h)hcg protocol!

Hang in there ladies; we must do this

i've been taking hhcg for almost 3 months and the reason why for so long.. is because i just want to lose A FEW more pounds but its taking foreverrr..

i think i'm going to try JUUDD for P3.

good luck!

Yep, not alone . I can't lose any other way or else I would. Hope you do well and stabilize easily. coming off near the holidays is a scary time to try to stabilize. But, if you're focused and determined you will do it!!

I am re-evaluating my "goal" and am a bit greedy w. hcg. I am still lightly padded and have abnormal fat to lose, but if I can't maintain my new LDW w.o. heroic measures I will re-evaluate and accept it. I'm done after this round (at least for a while) and will refocus myself toward lifetime maintenance. I mean, I used to weight 272lbs and was a size 26!! A little padding isn't a bad thing .

Repeat this daily, Julie!!!!

If more of us women (and men!) would not be so hard on ourselves and realize what we have accomplished...we wouldn't be here doing many rounds of hHCG

Thanks girls!! It's kinda' sinking in and I'm letting go of my dream of an "ideal" body and celebrating how healthy I am! It's a good, and challenging, mindset adjustment!

Junkn-here are a few pics. I don't have any good current ones, I dont' think. But I'll see. It's always good to remember.
Here's one near my highest, prob about 250-260 here:

And this is pretty current. This was in May on our trip to Utah:

And here's one before I started hcg (between 100lb lost on Atkins and this last 30):

Thanks ladies! I have a pic on our fridge from when I weighed 215 (my highest was 225 that I hit last year). I was 162.4 yesterday morning and was down 4.4 today (now @ 157.6) because I did an all-protein day yesterday. When I load I LOAD well and my highest gain was 9#. Needless to say, I don't want to start my next round weighing over 155.

I lose very fast on hcg and JUDDD which I'm doing for maintenance. I was too impatient to do it for weight loss even though in four days I was down 4#.

Yes, I am VERY hard on myself and have come a long way (like all of us). I'm also walking 3 miles on my treadmill 6 days a week (which I'll stop when I begin the VLCDs). This will be my final round and was very hesistant to buy more because I was losing weight fairly fast, but love to LOAD and use hcg as an excuse to do that.

Julie, as far as the holidays go.....I'm looking forward to JUDDD because it works well for me and I know that the very next day will be a down day.

Talking about inspiration/motivation?!?! Your pics made my day! I wasted the last couple of weeks and yesterday I decided "that's it" --starting clean this week and your pics are just a confirmation! I have to focus --NO more excuses in controlling what I put into my body ---COMMITMENT---

Thanks ladies!! You're very kind. If I can do it, we all can!! you're all such a great inspiration to me to keep plugging away. That saying "dead men (women) don't struggle" really applies to this board!! Keep fighting the good fight!

It's so good to look back and remember from where we came!! We do get caught up in the daily scale fluctuations and obsess over a "goal" number on the fickle scale. We let it control our moods, our days, and our lives. I'm working on accepting who I am *now* and even if the scale isn't kind, I can still choose to be content w. me!!
