Pregnancy Test "Test"

Hi All,

Am I correct that while on HCG, if you take a Pregnancy test, you are supposed to come up positive and that is an indication that it's working?

I am doing Injections and I have had a suspiscion this whole time that my HCG was no good because I've been starving the whole time.

Finally today I decided to try and test it. I tried putting a few drops of the HCG directly onto the test and I got a faint line for negative. Not sure if It's b/c I didn't put enough on there? (didn't want to waste it)

Then I tried peeing on it and got a faint negative as well.

Does this mean my HCG is no good? If so, it would certainly explain my crazy hunger.

This is R2 for me and last time I had ZERO appetite.

Want to call the Clinic and let them know but I wanted to check first to make sure I'm correct about this.

The test should show a positive...even faint.

I would call and be very firm!

All accounts say it will not be positive if you merely pee on it (too small an amount, diluted), only if you put the right amount of HCG on the strip directly. Did you use enough? It might be worth wasting some of a syringe to make sure you get it soaked! Either result should be clear to read if get it wet enough.

I don't think I used enough. I'm going to get more tests and try it again even if it means having to lose a dose b/c I want to know if this stuff is good or not!
