Newbie needs help in germany

Hi Folks,

i'm new in here, and i wish you could offer me some help. I'm from germany and there the hcg diet is not very popular, so i don't really find answers there.

I'm on hHCG pellets since Jan. 1st this year with two little breaks in April (i had to go to hospital and in August 5th i went out for vacation.

Since i came back i started again and i'm now the fourth week in P2 again. But i really suffer now. I've lost 53 lbs so far, but now nothing moves. Before i went on vacation, the weightloss stopped on about at 167,5 lbs. I was there for about 6 weeks and it didn't move down anymore. When i got back i gained about 5,5 lbs. and started again. I'm now in P2 since 4 weeks again and i stopped again at 167,5 lbs. Since 10 days nothing moves on the scale anymore (just a little up then a little down and so on). I know, i had this weight over years when i was young, but how is it possible to stop at 167,5 for almost two month?

So on Saturday i did a refeed to push metabolism. Next day i had 1,3 lbs more and i went back to protocoll strictly (17 g Carbs/80 g Protein/22 g Fat). Today i've gained again 1,1 lbs and it looks like i gain again tomorrow. The other thing is: i'm not in ketosis since weaks. I was back in ketosis yesterday morning but it disappeared again over the day and now i'm again not in ketosis anymore. Shouldn't i be in ketosis, while i'm using body fat? So, is it possible, that i have an immunity from hHCG??? In germany they say, it is not possible to have an immunity from hHCG. But then i should be in Ketosis, am i right?

My plan is know, to change to P3 at the weekend and on Monday start with Atkins P1. Can i do this or do i have to be in P3 for almost 3 weeks? I don't have to go very far anymore. Just some lbs and really i don't want to accept to stop now.

If i should stay with hHCG, what else can i do do start using my body fat again. It's still enough there

Thank you in advance an sorry for the bad english, but i'm not used to it anymore!

Welcome!!! We have not had a German on here before. How neat of you to find us!!! What is recommended in Pounds and Inches-the manuscript we follow while doing the hcg diet--is an apple day. Have you done one yet? They worked for me when I hit a stall. He says to use them when you stay at the same weight for 5 days---NOT 5 weeks!!! I cannot imagine only eating 500 calories and not seeing ANY movement for 5 or 6 weeks. I would have killed someone in that time!! Oh, my! I wish you well. If you need any help with an apple day here is a thread:

apple day

This is what I suggest you do. It should shake things up for you!!

Also, I don't worry about ketosis in P2. I don't see it mentioned in Pounds and Inches at all. So don't worry too much about it. It is just one thing to stress out over and you don't need any more stress.

Oh, I forgot to say WooHoo for your losses so far on hcg . You have done so well.

Thank you dawn for the warm welcome!

In fact i've already had the apple day twice, but just lost water and gained the next day again! Believe me, i'm ready to kill somebody, really.

I know the original book by Simeon and other books from german autors. And i followed the protocoll strictly. I've never cheated, just last saturday, but this was planned, 'cause i've read something about refeed under hHCG on this HP.

It didn't work with me So, do you think it is possible to have immunity against hHCG and is it possible to start immideatly with Atkins P1? I really want to get rid of those damned last pounds.

I soo hear you. I really want those pounds gone too---yesterday. If you have been doing the hcg as long as you have with no breaks for P3, then you are really due for a break. I would have thrown in the towel and have left hcg a while ago. You do have time to stop for 3 weeks, do a good P3 to get some good healthy fats into your system and then continue with some more P2. I am sure you can do that. I think if I were you you are ready for some good nutrition? I would not necessarily call it "immunity" but you body needs a break!!! I know of some who have done long rounds, but they are hard and stressful on the body. Your body seems to be saying that you need to take a rest.

You look so good!!! I love you picture. So nice to see you.

I agree with Dawn about you going into P3, no starch no sugar for at least 3-6 weeks. Give your body enough protein and only healthy fats and no starch no sugar, like Atkins, but you can have a piece of low-starch, low-sugar fruit, like apples, berries, oranges, grapefruit, etc. Ketosis is not part of the hcg protocol. I bet once you give your body more protein for awhile it will let go of more weight if there really is more to lose. You have done great, don't be discouraged. Just give yourself a break and a big pat on the back!

Thank you so much for understanding. Yes, I'm ready to cry every morning when i went to the scale (we call it DIVA in germany, because of it's mood )

I'm always strictly following the protocoll and i gain weight, what's that???

So, i found this Fat Fast to break a stall in P2 & transition to P3 here. Do you think, this could be an option for me???

I'm going in sane, if i cannot loose those pounds in the next couple of weeks. I am so close to my goal know and don't want to give up. On the other side, i'm so tired of it!

I see my co-worker eating all this yum yum all day like chocolate, cookies, fries, burgers an on and on and i am not allowed to since 9 month!!!!!!!!

Welcome and Guten Tag!

I am going to Baumholder in November as my daughter lives there soon to give birth.

I very much think the fat fast transition is something to consider.

ketosis for me was a factor. A major one. I needed it with the homeopathic otherwise I was too hungry. I do RX now and my hunger is gone. But not that if you use sticks, even my ketones change during the day. Most concentrated in the morning due to just getting up. But all the fluids I drink, dliutes the test. Maybe that is happening with you. I wouldn't worry about it.

Tell me, can you get RX in Germany?

I guess after reading all our posts we realize all of us are different.lol

Well wishes and please post often.

Auf Wiedersehen

Hello!

I've started this fat fast transition today and it seems to work out for me. I'm in ketosis now and the scale this evening showed already 1,2 lbs less than this morning. I've lost very much water over the day.

I had 1.100 cal today with 82 % fat, 4 % carbs and 15 % protein. Unfortunatly in germany we don't have fine and fat things like you in the states, so i had this morning 3 eggs, 125 g Mascarpone for lunch and 60 g walnuts an one slize of cheese. I'm a little bit starving now, but not as bad as on strictly protocoll.

I will stop using pellets on thursday an continue ff till friday night with less cal. After that i think i will start with atkins P1 (this is what we have to do anyway in P3 i think) Hopefully i will reach my personal goal with that pretty soon. If not i'm going to P4 in a few weeks and start a new round with HCG next year.

We can get RX in germany too, but it's very expensive and you have to visit a physician for that. Second is, you're not allowed to go further than 21 days. I was a little bit shocked, when i read here, that some people do it about 90 days on this board

I didn't know Baumholder and had a look at google maps. It's about 150 miles away from my home but the arrea is very nice, i know.

Tomorrow i will tell how the ff really worked aout the first day. I hope i break the stall!!!

Auf Wiedersehen (very nice from you)

You are doing great! Baumholder hosts are Army. Well, I guess there are a lot of bases there actually!

So our stats are very similar. I am almost 5'6.5" and I started years ago at 240? and my goal is 145. I am somewhere in the 150's right now. I posted progress pictures in the "Labor Day Loading Thread".

I wish you great success on your transitions.

Interesting about the 21 days only. 90 days would be too long for me but my first round I did 36 or 37 days? And I only broke it due to travel. I was on a roll! ha

What is Mascarpone? And kudos for choosing walnuts. Better then almonds as they don't have enough fat. And eggs are always a winner.

Glad you found us here at LCF! I have been here for 10-12 years! hahaha
