Today is my 10th day but I have been sick since the start with bronchitis and a sore back. I lost almost 8 pounds thus far. Another 10 would be great till I interrupt and cycle back in October. Hopefully once I get better, I will start to lose again.

Food today: fish, kale, cucumbers, lemon, water, decaf (weak) stevia.

Well wishes!!!

Hi All!

Julie yay so excited to see you. I was asking about you yesterday b/c I missed you! You're family is so cute and you look adorable. (peeked at other thread but don't have time to respond to it yet. I did the same thing as you and gained 8lbs loading. Luckily it has come off. That's nice that your Husband doesn't think you don't have to lose. You probably dont but I get that you have a place you want to be in your mind.

Lara, welcome back to the P2 mix!

Stevie 8lbs is good! I just hope you kick this sick already!

Dawn, how was the scale for you today?

I'm only down .2 today. So I'm 161. I really really want to see the 150's before this week is out and I think that's reasonable!!!

Hunger was still there last night although perhaps not AS bad as the night before so MAYBE upping my dose is helping? But Ultimately I want to be not hungry at all... so we'll see. Those threads you posted Dawn gave me hope that the hunger would subside in Week 2. Hope so!!

Have a great day all!

Oh, P2- how I miss you!

I'm doing ok in P3 so far- stabilizing quite well. This week, I'm adding 250 more cals a day for the next 2/3 days and then will add the remaining 50/100 bringing me up to BMR +20%. If I can maintain my LDW for a week or so at that cal level, I know I'll be able to go into R2P2.

I can't wait to get back on protocol to drop the rest of this weight... ugh!

Glad you're all doing so well!! I just wanted to pop in and check up on everyone.

Any losses today?

Are you feeling hungry right now? What have you eaten?

It's 12noon here and I haven't eaten anything yet, and not feeling the hunger. LIke I"ve said it doesn't hit me hard until night time.

Could you up your B12? I took an extra 1000 last night so I'm wondering if that helped at all.

Hang in there!

Barely. Lost .1 on my second weigh this morning, but as you may have read in the labor day thread (check that out for lots of details - I think that's where it is), I had chicken broth at 11pm last night. I was MISERABLE trying to sleep, and it helped.

had my half yoke hard-boiled egg this morning, which may or may be good, or bad. At this point, I just have to survive.

Are YOU feeling better, Reddy?

My B12 is from a shot at the clinic (has some other "lipotropic"? stuff in there).

I think my hunger hits me harder as the day goes on as well, although I have woken up with the shakes from the night before. EXCEPT that one blissful day last Friday. I want more of those days.

Still deciding whether to go back up, skip or do the same 125iu. Sick of this questioning.

Thanks so much, all of you, for your support.

Reddy--we won't discuss my day. TOM started for me yesterday and it was not the best P2 day for me. I didn't even weigh in. That is how this morning went. Didn't want to see the numbers.

I won't be around tomorrow either. I have work really early and then I am involved in a 9/11 service in the evening. My brother was one of those who was killed in the World Trade Center. So I participate in my local 9/11 services. We have a memorial here in Columbia made from the WTC beams of the building where my brother worked. It is kinda neat to have that here in my town. Anyway, I will share pics the day after. I did last year. So you all keep on keeping on and I will report in later this week!!!

so sorry to hear about your brother dawn! HUGS!

well i started R1P2 for 40 days, then took a week of an (UN)planned interruption. and went back to P2 for another 29 days (today) so that makes it a total of 69 days on hhcg!

is that too long? i just want to lose 3.5 more pounds!! or maybe 6 (i keep pushing this number as i read/learn more about P3).

i only lose about 1 pound per week but its cause i'm close to goal i guess but i am sooo dreaming of P3 food :P

Dawn-that's right. I remember the nice photos last year. It's great they have a beam from his building for the memorial in your town. That's a nice way to feel connected. I look forward to your pics Wed.

I will need to see what time my town is holding their annual service tomorrow. I'd like to go and take my dd's.

Made some boiled radishes today to have on hand. They're surprisingly good when boiled forever and heavily sesoned . I overdid the salt though. I'll have them prob tomorrow.

Today's menu:
coffee (black )
apple
P2 chili
Wendy's bunless hamburger w. mustard and pickle
WATER!!

I have my first softball game tonight (double header ). I need to practice!!! I'll be running from 1:30 on, so I'll have to drive through somewhere for dinner. Should be ok.

Lara - was it hard to take a 2 week break in between? I'm still in planning stages but I'm afraid if I did that it would make it harder to start back on P2.

julie - glad you had a nice vacation, it's awesome that DH said you don't need to lose any more weight

Stevie - sorry you're still so sick

Reddy - hope you figure out the hunger part this time around

happychick - good luck with stabilizing

buttah - so sorry that you're still struggling, someone else had asked before but I'm wondering if you have an ineffective batch of hcg?

berta - I'm wishing I only gained 2.4 lbs during loading

dawn - that's nice that there's a memorial in your hometown like that, still it's so sad that so many were lives were lost that day, hope your family can somehow focus on the great memories you have of your brother

junkn - I can't even imagine 69 days on P2, I'm curious to see how it goes b/c I'm considering whether or not I could cycle between P2 and P3 without doing P4 since I need to do several rounds

I'm doing okay so far today. I had coffee and an apple for breakfast. Then had meatloaf with lean ground beef and onion for lunch with another apple. Now I'm heading home shortly to have dinner. I've had a lot of water today as well. Hopefully I can make it through this evening without hunger kicking in.

I was pretty disgusted this morning when I got on the scale and was up 6.5 lbs!! I'm not sure how much was the 3rd day of loading and how much is TOM?? I'm just hoping that the scale goes down in the morning!

Dawn my heart is with you dear, lost my dh to cancer within 5 weeks of diagnosis 3 years ago. Losing a loved one is indescribable. There's nothing like that pain and heart ache.

I'm trying to get my head in the game of being fully in with P2. I delayed a day with an extra load day

Buttah, I don't know where to find what you wrote about your skype appt. with Robin?

I am excited to do this round with you guys! Not being alone helps so much. I'm gonna take a photo tomorrow and took measurements today. I binged on 2 bags of russell stover sugar free candy today, it has splenda rather than malitol, well. . . needless to say, splenda goes right through me. I don't even know what I want to eat tomorrow. I think its going to be an cottage cheese, spinach, strawberries, and cocoa. for breakfast and lunch and chicken and cuke for dinner. I guess it's not that hard cause there's limited choices--easy right?

Hugs to everyhone!

How very heartbreaking that must have been one heck of a blow. When my stepfather passed away, he had 5+ years after his cancer diagnosis. He had a great quality of life during that time as well. Never looked sick a single day til the very end. We had time to say good-bye. Sorry you didn't get that

I am going to gain more that that this round.I gained that on load day one!
But the last two rounds I did only gain about 2-3lbs.the first round my load days didn't stay down.I was not use to eating all the fat. I had always eaten low fat reduced sugar things.

We'll see how much in the morning as today is my last load day!

So I've survived VLCD1 and am thinking I should go to bed early before I get hungry. Do you all believe that a good night's sleep really makes a difference? I sure hope so after adding on so many pounds during loading

Yes. I think plenty of good sleep is crucial to weight loss (and lots of other things).

Buttah-hope you had a good day!!

Adeline-most people say that is the big problem with PIs. Getting your head back in the P2 game is so hard. And on your quick loss.

Berta-you'll lose that loading weight. Quick coming and going .

Coloring my roots right now. Played a double header softball game and getting ready foe bed. Nitey-night!

I'm at a stall! Same weight for 3 days. And only 3 lbs under my LIW on VLcD 8.

Discouraging!

Ok guys I need some help. On July 20th I went to the doctor and I asked them to call in my prescription but wait until I called in to actually fill it... and so I waited until August 1st to call and get it filled. When I called they said it was ready and I was a little upset so I asked them to remix it so that it will be potent longer and they said that they did, but this morning my first vlcd was 1.6 down... usually I'm down like 4 lbs on my first day. Do you think I should worry? It would be 9 weeks since it was mixed if they didnt mix a fresh batch. The bottle says valid until 9/30/12. It would be 7 weeks old if they made a new batch.

I will call them but they open at 10am, I'm worried guys. I don't feel right and I dont know if its my imagination.

I could go to the doc and get it refilled but it will cost 50$...

this is injections... any advice?
