Reddy, you probably already figured out what to eat, but I can tell you that Robin would say to have a hard-boiled egg, some cottage cheese, or some more protein, and/or perhaps some extra fruit (she'd say that the cracker stops hunger the fastest, but burns off the fastest, as most of us know). She would also tell you that if you're starving, you body is using whatever it is that it's not supposed to use for fuel (blood glucose?), it needs Leptin stimulated (to tell it to use fat for energy), and the only way to get it is to eat something. And that starving on HCG is not a healthy or sustainable way to lose weight. I hope you found the answer.
The FB page isn't private. You can always make another FB account under a nickname. You can also send her a message via FB (I did that, for the same reason, and she responded. That's what led to me decide to Skype with her.)

I just went down to the kitchen and had a few spoons of cottage cheese, a small bowl of broth and a Melba. I will prob not be down much if any tomorrow but I don't care.
My hubby gave me crap saying why are you throwing your hard work away- you're going to be soda at yourself tomorrow And I was like if you were in my shoes you'd do the same!!! |

Your hubby needs to talk to Robin. OR someone! It is not okay to be starving on HCG. If you are, you are not losing fat anyway, and whatever you lose will be hard to stabilize. HCG is not supposed to be a starvation diet. You can do that without HCG.
And btw, if you're not down tomorrow it's because of what the food weighs that you just ate... or the water that food draw to your system (NOT because it magically added fat to your body, or kept fat from going away, while you were sleeping). Daily weighing, while typically fun on HCG, does not tell us the whole story at all. Sorry to get preachy, but it's true. BTW, when I needed it the last two mid-mornings (10am when I woke up at 6:30), I had just less than a 1/4 cup of cottage cheese. It actually filled me up, sort of. The half yoke egg did the same. I'm gonna try and sleep now if I can. I'm so hungry! It's not normal or right so yeah I'm gonna test the HCG in the morning and regardless of what it says I'll probably let tomorrow be my last injection.

julie - I think "contentment and freedom from dieting" sounds wonderful and hope I can make it there one of these days, 2.2 lb woosh is nice, I've done HWC with my coffee 3 of 5 VLCD's but I thought it was ok per protocol so I hope I read it right?
berta - hope your DH's health improves, good luck with the bread, hope you get all of the sewing done, I worked in a factory while in college and for 2 of the 4 years I sewed and don't think I've sewed anything since I left there - if I couldn't do the HWC in my coffee I would probably just skip it b/c I'm so not a fan of black coffee crazyprekteacher - nice woosh, great that your son helped you get ready for the party, I always feel like I have to do extensive cleaning before having any group over, 231 lbs lost is amazing!! fatnomore - sounds like you're well on your way with a 4.4 lb drop buttah - so glad that your hunger is decreasing, I'm on the same page as you with the melba, I tried them once years ago on some other plan and found them very unappealing, can't find the grissini around here so I've skipped them so far but now I'm wondering about the wasa b/c I remember seeing them and questioning how different they could be, whole foods had these little crackers that I also considered, I think they were called crostini and one of the types had rosemary in them but I figured since they weren't exact I better pass them up manders - congrats on the lovely ring reddy - so sorry about the itchies and that this round hasn't been going as well as you hoped, I'm the same way about not wanting to post/join in the facebook stuff b/c I don't feel like answering questions from people that don't get it, as for the spoons of cottage cheese, broth, and melba I don't think that should impact you too much, DH's mean well but don't always know when to be quiet ![]() Today I had a hardboiled egg as a late breakfast, then skipped lunch, and we went out for dinner with my sister which was a bit challenging. We had other things we had to take care or else I wouldn't have even went anywhere with her. She's not being very supportive. It was a long discussion in trying to select a place to eat. Then when they brought out the bread she kept trying to get me to eat some and I had to tell her no more than once which was a bit frustrating. I got a salad that was supposed to have egg, bacon, cheese, and grilled chicken. I asked them to hold the bacon and cheese. When it arrived they had left off the bacon but not the cheese so I had to do a lot of picking through it to avoid it. The weird thing was becoming full after eating only about a third of it. On the way home DH told me that he thinks she doesn't want me to lose weight. We also agreed that we are not going out anymore this weekend so I don't have to be around all that other stuff and fight the temptation. |

I haven't slept well at all the last 2 nights b/c I've been stressing about changing jobs. I've considered taking something to help me sleep tonight but am hesitant b/c I'm wondering if it will impact the scale

Riss, hate to be the bearer of bad news but I pretty sure you need to wait for P3 for HWC!! In P2 you are only allowed 1tbsp of Ff milk ;( which is basically as good as black coffee. I think I have seen some people have it anyway but the hight fat content could definitely stall u. That's so frustrating that your sister is not supporting you and instead is trying to tempt you. Honestly I don't go out to eat at all in P2 unless I absolutely can't avoid it. Everything has oil and other no nos. It's burning but try and stay hole and make your meals! As for the sleep aid- I suffer from insomnia so I sometimes Take sleep aids but I never did in R1 for fear it could stall me. I've taken Zyrtec the past few nights for the itching and it may have caused me problems but sleep is important so you need to do what you need to do to get it! I am down .6 today. Not bad but it prob would be more had I not cheated and gone so far over on calories. I should have fought through the hunger and gone to sleep ![]() I really want to make today my last injection and call my round but I'm 157.8 and really want to lose just 3 more lbs and hit 155. Not sure if I can do it though. Seem the hunger is only a major issue late at night. During the day it's there but much more manageable. May try to stick it out but probably not ![]() Last edited by Reddy; 09-15-2012 at 04:30 AM.. |

Hi, I'm down 2lbs this am =)
Yesterday i had grilled chicken thigh meat with Franks Red Hot on top of spring mix. two apples... it was really time consuming removing the fat but I'm tired of breast its so bland. I think that I will try to stay on until the end of the month. I really want this badly. Too many posts to read. Gotta get to work. Have a good day all. ~Lara |

You can drop it!! We don't mind. I love going in many threads for support. But I need that. You can do what you want. Stay here is you wish. I personally don't want to see the labor day thread gone, so I will be posting there as well. But you don't have to post everywhere. Just pick one thread and stay there.

I am trying to figure out why you are so hungry.I do RXHCG but sublingual and am never hungry only after the firts day or two of being back on PH2.I wasn't even hungry the entire 6weeks or so of PH3&PH4 But everyone one is so different. I was starving the entire time on the HHCG though. That is the ony reason I switched. It doesn't cost anymore either. And for me works so much better... but that's me.![]() Also you could do a CD day and that should give you a loss of a couple lbs? Just a suggestion. I lose 2lbs every time on an egg CD. I love eggs though! ![]() Quote:
Congratulations on the loss . Not pleased with my morning weigh in. I'm up 1 pound. I'm trying to figure out what the cause is. I'm definitely cutting out the HWC with the coffee which probably means no coffee for me. I'm wondering if the roasted red peppers on the salad I had on Thursday that didn't seem to impact me yesterday could have caught up with me today. I'm also now wishing I had sent the salad back last night when they brought it out with the cheese but I'm always a little hesitant to send food back. I thought I did a good job of picking around it but maybe not good enough. The more I've thought about it I've realized yesterday I didn't drink as much water as I should. Plus taking the benadryl last night might not have been smart. I've just struggled with sleep so much this week and last night I had to do something. Very frustrated here

![]() So sorry for your frustration If you didnt drink 60 oz of fluids then that may be the culprit, not enough sleep, theHWC ( I drink flavored decaff tea)when on PH2 or mixing vegetables.Peppers are not on protocol. Have you read Pounds and Inches? Also if you haven't had a good bowel movement that can really pack on the lbs![]() And the Benadryl may have caused it.I used muscle rub on my shouldrs my first round and gained 2lbs the next morning go figure ![]() ![]() ![]() Just stick to protocol(not that I do 100%) ![]() ![]() and it will workout. ![]() ![]() |

I knew peppers weren't on it but that was one of the things on the salad that I chose when I had to go to a work lunch on Thursdady. I asked to skip the cheese and onions but foolishly not the red peppers. I had hoped that would be okay but obviously it wasn't so I guess I learned a lesson. From here on out it's strict protocol for me. I sure hope it doesn't take long to get back on track and the scale going down. |

Yesterday morning I weighed myself and I was 187.6. I just wanted to see how much I had gained. I actually had one last loading day yesterday and yet this morning, I was already down to 186.0. I really gave 'er on vacation haha I'm actually pleased that I only gained 9 pounds. Considering the amount and type of stuff I ate and all the booze I drank, I really thought I would have hit 190. The BF and I were very much like "when in Rome..." LOL I've been back on track 100% today so far for my first VLCD. Barely been hungry at all. I had a wicked headache this morning though. I think I'm adjusting back to the altitude here as well as detoxing all the bad food out of my system. I should be finishing up TOM on Sunday, and hoping to hit 177 by next Sunday.

![]() It is best to stick to strict protocol if you can stand it. Some people can get away with different things. For instance my DD lost over 100lbs on RXHCG in less than a year and she ate tuna and green beans while on PH2. So it is just trial and error. If it wasn't for the Waldens Farm items I probably wouldn't be able to stick with PH2 as good as I do.(when I do) ![]() If you eat something off protocol make sure it is only the one thing then you will know if you gain what it is.But when you eat or do several things that are not protocol then you have no idea which one caused the gain. Do you understand what I mean? I have not been 100% strict protocol ever and this is my 3rd round. But I stay pretty well with in it. For instance I have only eaten once today and it's 6:11 pm. I only plan on eating an orange later if that But as I have said many times I just don't get hungry on RX HCGEven though I may not stick 100% to it, I don't go over my 500 calories a day most days. ![]() You will make it . If I can do it any one can![]() Last edited by Berta48; 09-15-2012 at 04:18 PM.. |

Hi All!!
So I've been sneaking on throughout the day on my phone but I'm finally sitting down and can write something. So wait, I was told I could only have ff milk on P2 but you all are saying ff is no good? Geez. I'm learning this just NOW? So what do you get? 2%? 1%? Lara I need to PM you b/c I have questions for you that probably got burried in all of these posts... Quote:
![]() I am doing Injections. I did that last round too and I had ZERO hunger. It was awesome. THis time it's a completely different experience. I don't know why but it has made this really tough. As for a CD... I think today is my LID (get to that later in this post) so I don't think I can really do a CD especially since I'm not REALLY stalled if I lost .6 yesterday. But... I have a feeling I'll need a few CD's in P3! I never had to do one in my last P3, I maintained really well and stayed on plan. BUT if I do one, I'd LOVE to try an egg day. I love eggs and that would be right up my alley! I've heard mixed things about the effectiveness of an egg day but I'd totally try one! Quote:
![]() Manders, I've had a horrible time this round. It's basically been a fail and I've been starving the whole time and had a terrible rash. As a result I'm pretty sure I'm moving to P3 on Tuesday after just 14 days. ![]() |
