About my rash on the first round: it developed on my chest and in my cleavage during my second week and didn't really go away until my first week of P3 (and I did a 40 day round). The rash didn't itch though, which I was grateful for. It was just kind of annoying when I wanted to wear dresses! I went rogue and rubbed coconut oil and apple cider vinegar on it, and that seemed to tame it a bit.
So when are you starting back on P2 and how many days will you be doing when you start again? I am so unhappy I've considered a PI but then I'm like, no I'm just going to stay on as long as I can and then that's it for a while. You're lucky your rash didn't itch, the one I have is ridiculous. And of course scratching it makes it worse.

Curious, are you saying you';re using blue chips in place of the melba?
Also, what is a BIZ shake? Whatever you are doing it seems you're doing well!

Wow Lara you are doing awesome! Keep it up! Couple of questions... did you say that you lost 25lbs before the PI? If so how many days did it take you to lose that? Also, I know you said but I can't remember, did you load again after the PI? Whatever you're doing, it's working!

For breakfast I had coffee with HWC and apple slices. Then for lunch we went out as a group. I did deviate slightly from protocol with my salad. I went with the grilled chicken salad. It usually has roasted red peppers, onions, olives, and mozzarella. I asked to hold the onions and cheese. I asked for my dressing on the side and some balsamic vinegar. I poured a little balsamic on and then used the fork method a little in the dressing before bites instead of just pouring it on. I ended up using very little of it that way but it was still good. The roasted red peppers were delicious and while I was worried that I might pay for them on the scale today it turned out alright. I ate a few bites of steak last night for dinner when I was hungry but then gave the rest to DH. This morning I was very pleased to be down another 1.5 lbs.

I've been struggling this week with a decision about a new job and haven't slept well for the last few days. This morning so far I've had my drops and some water and I'm getting ready to go fix some coffee and eat a little something.
That's so awesome that you lost despite going a bit off plan. Good job on restraining yourself. I think it can be so easy to just go way off once you veer in that direction KWIM? Keep it up!

Enjoy your family and your health (hope the rash is better!!) and see where you are. Maybe take a few days off from the scale? And thanks for thinking I'm already fit. I am healthier than I've been before, but miss really feeling strong. I fear the gain when I workout. I know it's silly. I know it's just water and in the end is good for me. But my clothes do NOT fit when I gain through exercise. My thighs get big, my arms get big, etc. Things are tight. I give it 5-6 weeks, and clothes are still tight and scale it still up. Usually I end up doing another round or attempt to lose weight at that point so I don't see what an additional 5-6 weeks will do. I'm hoping to end this round low enough that even w. 5lbs of excess through added exercise I'll still be able to comfortably wear my clothes. We'll see. Getting ahead of myself.

I had a nice whoosh overnight. Even w. my soup/meal concoction yesterday . Dropped 2.2 overnight, which is very !! Had beef twice yesterday- so apparently my body still likes it! Still not back in window from last round, but making progress and feeling like things are coming together. Maybe my body took longer to get into hcg mode this time? I'm just happy. Trying to relax and keep it all in perspective!!
Yay Julie for the Woosh! You were due! 2.2 is awesome! About the exercise stuff... I'm sure you've considered and thought about this already but perhaps the type of exercise you are doing is causing you to bulk up and retain water more than some others might? You do strengh training mostly right? Perhaps more cardio type stuff? Or even something like Pilates would allow you to feel strong and fit without bulking up? Just a thought.

Yes it did rain but only a tiny bit, but enough to get the ground wet and we really wanted to have him in the grass so it was good we rescheduled. Didn'nt take a pic of my hair but you're right I shoudl have. It's already flat today so it was a total waste but what can you do right?

We're having his b-day party tomorrow...about a dozen pre-teenage boys running around playing XBOX & playing air-soft gunsHopefully I slow down after that

I am happy to report that I FINALLY had a whoosh from a 6 day stall. Down -1.4 today...I think it may have been due to my drops not being potent enough anymore...changed them for new ones 2 days ago...but then who knows...I tend to stall 5-6 days at a time...then have a great breakthrough whoosh...so it may have just been that time for me...kwim? Those stalls mess with my head...I KNOW it eventually will come off doing the protocol...but it is so HARD to push through it when it's happening. Anyone who is new to this with a stall...best advice is to just keep going...(easier said than done, tho.)

Hoping to keep up this downward trend for a week or two. I am aiming for about 22 more lbs., but may decide later if I feel like I can do 10-15 lbs. more after the holidays, perhaps.

I have ordered Intermountain drops for 4 girls at work who want in (plus my director just started injections this week)...seems like we may have to start our own little support group We might as well do this all together, right? I did tell them not to blame ME if they don't follow it, and it doesn't work as well for them

Anyway, gotta get back to working on the house...I hate having to work for getting ready for parties, but it's a good excuse for thorough house cleaning...plus my son has helped me a lot...I threatened him that I would cancel the party if the work wasn't ALL done...so NO gripes from him
Hi Angela! Sounds like you're about to have your hands full with that party! Then hopefully you can relax on Sunday!

Congrats on breaking your stall! I totally get how stalls can mess with your head, I get that way if I STS for 2 or 3 days. I went 6 days last round during my Period and it was not easy to do. I guess during TOM I should just not even weigh!

Today when I weighed after day one I'm down 4.4 lbs.
I'm ready this time. I am also doing the IM pellets and I think that is helping. Either that or I loaded really well.
Good to see everyone back here. I will be trying to keep up with the posts. Good luck to all. We CAN do this together.
That's awesome!!! I definitely think it's best not to start when you are not mentally "ready" b/c you can't succeed if youre head is not in the game. Lost almost all the loading weight and that's so awesome!

WTG Berta! That's great keep it up!

As for the Bread question, I think what Buttah said is probably right. Double check and compare all things on the label and if it matches up closely give it a try. If it's not good you'll change. But I agree to eat only half at once.

BUTTAH, I used to eat Wasa as a kid... do you chose them b/c you like them better? Or because it's more food? Or what? I already have melbas and I like them fine so I will just use them (I didn't do any melba on round one but with the hunger I need to eat all I can)

So ...whetehr I call this a continued round or a new round...I intend to go for a while longer. As much as it takes a lot of people to wrap their minds around doing P2...that's what it takes for me to do P3 & to maintain...it is very hard for me. I spend most of my P3's waiting to get back into P2...I fear that I may have a hard time adjusting when I reach goal. DH says I'm addicted to weight loss BUT...I want to get into a good exercise program when I reach goal...even if I gain some muscle weight. I am pretty weak right now...so I know if I gain on exercise...it will be to strengthen myself. I figure the exercise will help with calories in/out, and perhaps my appetite will sort out.

I have learned so many things through hHCG...not just the "miracle" weight loss if you work it correctly, but also learning "clean-eating", and humbleness through being happy & satisfied. On my WLS journey...I lost 231 lbs. total, BUT I was 17 lbs. from goal...instead of focusing on what I had achieved...I obsessed on what I DIDN'T achieve...sadly, family trauma happened (which I didn't control or "know" how to control & I slowly gained back to 291 over 4 years (thankfully I didn't go back to 411 lbs.) If the same scenario was occurring right now...I truly believe I would have control of it...lesson learned. It just hit me this morning, that I am on my way to a "100 lbs. lost"...291 lbs....now 197...so 6 more lbs. will be 100!!!! I don't list that weight as it was pre hHCG...low-carb mainly, 291 lbs. down to 275 lbs.

With my low-carb journey, I did well, but prolly not as well as could be...I was using a lot of non "clean" foods...specialty packaged low-carb stuff...not enough good fats, etc. I now know that goodies made w/ nut flours, coconut flours & other fats like cream cheese, peanut butter, etc. can cause stalls, which I could never figure out I plan on using the hHCG foods (just in larger quantities & more fat & veggies thrown in at times) on most days, and incorporating LC foods on certain occasions. On my hHCG journey...I have learned that the foods I see, crave, etc. will always be there. They are not going anywhere. Plus, sometimes a bite or two does go far w/ me. Mentally, I just want to "remember" the taste of things.

So in a nutshell...I think that you getting that light-bulb moment about being satisfied & happy where you're at...sounds divine. You will be happier through & through b'cuz you will not be stressing your life away. KUTGW Julie...you are such an inspiration

TTYL
Angela, I was the same way in P3 - at first. Hated it and could NOT wait to go back to P2 b/c I hated the feeling of being hungry, of being afraid of what I could and could not put in my body, and was so scared of gaining back what I lost. I also liked not having many options. It was a plan and I could stick to it, not have to play a guessing game. It took me about a week to adjust and figure out a groove and what I could and could not eat and then I started maintaining well and actually enjoying it. Then when I started P2 this time I pined for P3 b/c I've been struggling with Hunger. Grass always greener? IDK. I suppose If I wasn't hungry that would make this so much easier for me. I'm so looking forward to P3 b/c I know what I can eat. I can't WAIT to eat some SF Mocha Almonds and Some Soy Delicious SF Mint Ice Cream, and cream in my coffee again!

That's AMAZING that you lost 231lbs! Wow! It sounds like you have learned so much from your journey and it will benefit you for a long long time! You are not only thinner now but much healthier and that's more valuable than anythinng!

PHEW! Responding to all of those posts took a while. So much to catch up on. Long day over here!

So I started 3o units this morning. Hunger there but maybe not AS bad? Not sure but we'll see around 9:30. THat's the real test b/c thats when I suddenly become ravenous! Right now I'm doing ok and I still have a fruit and veggie left to eat!

I confess that I took the "Ultra Slim" tea that I use to make me go to the bathroom again b/c I haven't gone in a few days (since I took it earlier this week) and I just want to see the scale move, even if it IS mostly water weight. I need that motivation. Hopefully I'll see something good tomorrow morning. I'm sure it didn't do much for my rash (still super itchy and it's spread to more places) but I'm dealing.

I may or may not have done something stupid.I may or may not have eaten half of a fig newton today. I know it's not much but obviously a stupid thing to do. I was weak and hungry. Not worth it since it obviously doesn't help with my hunger and just made me want to dive in and eat the whole package!

Finally bought a pregnancy test but going to wait for morning to test so I don't have to waste a needle, I'll just load it with a double dose, test half and inject the rest. Part of me is hoping the HCG is not good so I can justify how I've been feeling.

So DS is sleeping and I'm going to watch some DVR programs and veg out with my hot tea. Hope you all have a great weekend!

I can not stand the popcorn with no fat I would rather not have any at all I am a bit rouge anyway as I eat green beans and tuna.
So I guess I will just have to try it and see

I did exactly that (compared ingredients and nutrition) when I substituted Wasa Crisp N Light 7 grain - one slice is 22, and even got the okay from both my clinic doc and Robin W.

BUT as far as eating the one slice at once, rather than cutting it in half for two servings, that's the same as having your two bread servings together - a no no with Dr. S and virtually everywhere else that I've seen. I don't know if it's good to have that many carbs all at once on what's essentially a very low carb diet.

Just info to take into account - you're obviously free to do whatever or go as rogue as your heart desires!
I hadn't considered all that.I was just thinking of calories. I can always eat a half sandwich 'Thanks for all the thoughts they are appreciated

SO WHAT ABOUT DILL PICKLES SINCE WE CAN HAVE CUCUMBERS? NO SUGAR IN THEM???

HI Reddy!

I don't care for the Melba (so bland), can't find the Grissini, tried the nutritionally similar Wasa Multigrain (only a half of one for the right calorie number, and tastes like cardboard), so finding Wasa Crisp N Light 7 grain was a wonderful day for me. They taste good, and you get a big whole piece for one serving. If and when I do the "bread," that's what I grab.

Wait, there's HUNGER on P3? You can eat ICE CREAM on P3? I'm not really ready to start researching P3, but both those comments surprised me. I think I'm going to be very glad I'm using the hunger scale (and knowing it's worked for me for years in the past) w/ Robin in P3.

Guys, today I made a BIG mistake having shrimp (in a spinach/lettuce salad) for lunch. It's like eating air. Never again. Was just as hungry when I finished as when I started.

I guess it's the right night to try beef for dinner. Have already made some taco-y ground beef, so I guess I'll be putting that with some salsa (tomato/onion/cilantro) on lettuce... and possibly making some Miracle Noodles (first time) with tomato "sauce," just to make sure it lasts me the rest of the night. But I'll tell you... I was starting to cruise until I wasted a meal on shrimp.

For me, most of P3 was not really hunger. But it was at first when the HCG wore off.

When you first end P2 you have to continue VLCD for 72 hours from your last dose. Then you are supposed to SLOWLY start upping your calories on a low carb atkins induction type diet.

The first 2 days after my VLCD's I was not that hungry. (again I was sooo not hungry r1, I'm sure this time I"ll be hungry since I am while TAKING the HCG) but anyway, the first of P3, I had 2 scrambled eggs with cheese for breakfast, Some boars head turkey for lunch (plain) and then for dinner I had a chefs salad with blue cheese. I was plenty satisfied and had a hard time eating still even after being 3 days without HCG.

But then after about 3 days of being in P3 my hunger started to come back and I found myself grazing in my kitchen and wanting to eat. And I was frustrated with having no set rules (I mean there are rules but not as strict) and even though I had done Induction for 4 months prior to HCG I felt lost and hungry. And I started to gain a bit of what i lost which was discouraging and left me wishing I could just go back to P2 where I didn't even THINK about food.

After about a week, I started to get into a groove and figure out what I could eat and "get away with" and I felt satisfied with normal amounts of food, did high protein and obviously very low carb. Then in the second week I started to experiment with things like Almond Butter and Sugar Free Chocolate Covered Almonds. I only would eat a small amount and determined that it didn't affect me. THen someone suggested trying Soy Delcious brand Sugar Free Ice Cream (it's made with Coconut Milk) and I did. Only ate small amounts but it would hit the spot. ANd I even had a few oz of frozen yogurt here and there. (Julie knows about eating FroYo on P3)

I maintained REALLY well for 3 weeks eating mostly Eggs, Steak, Chicken, Cheese, Broccoli, Almonds, etc. And it was great. I even stayed about a lb below LIW.

Now, You are supposed to do 3 weeks in P4 before starting another round and I didn't. I only did 1 week. And that COULD have something to do with my hunger... but I don't know. So I regret not waiting a bit longer. I was too impatient.

Not Everyone can eat those sugar free almonds, or the ice cream, you have to see how your body does with these things... but yeah, it's nice.

I'll add too that part of why I think the hunger came back after a few days in P3 was that your body starts to get used to eating again, and you know how once you eat things you crave more? It was like that. And I wasn't counting calories so I was just eating as much as I wanted "to hunger"

But that totally regulated after a week and I never had to even do a CD in P3!

This time I probably will b/c of some events coming up.

Oh. Okay. Phew, on the hunger thing. I know those three days will be tricky.

And I must say... whoever here came up with the phrase "eating to hunger" is not really understanding Robin's hunger scale. That's a very misleading way to put it! Sounds like you were eventually doing it, though.

Aha. I didn't realize you did that! And honestly, that doesn't sound like something to mess with. No wonder we are so similar, as the consensus with me is that I came to P2 right out of alternate day fasting. I should have probably done a JUDDD maintenance period, but there was nobody to advise me of that.

Perhaps you really should find a way out of this round, maintain for a while, and then come back to it.

All that said, I still don't have that "not even thinking about food" feeling. The hunger is manageable, and I'm managing it. But it makes me think about what I should eat and when, in order to "last" far more than I have on any other WOE. And I don't like that! If I ever do another round, I will come into it after a nice, extra long P4.

But it makes me think about what I should eat and when, in order to "last" far more than I have on any other WOE. And I don't like that! If I ever do another round, I will come into it after a nice, extra long P4.
Yeah. See I thought the reason for 3 weeks in P4 had to do with Immunity. Like if you didn't go through that, you would risk developing an immunity to HCG. (Which is kind of what I'm experiencing) but I thought that would happen in subsequent rounds, not this one. I figured, I've only taken 21 shots of this stuff... no way can I develop immunity that easily. I assumed this was more for people doing multiple rounds, and really this is supposed to be my last one for a LONG time. I asked around here and most people said I should be ok to do it after only like 1.5 weeks in P4.... but I realize now that there is a reason for the protocol and I should have probably waited. I DO wonder if it would have made a difference with my experience and my hunger.

I also didn't do a proper P4 either. I started P4 on my birthday and we had a HUGE party for mine and my Sons 1st bday and I ate terribly all weekend. I was up about 2.5lbs after that and then I knew I was going to be starting another round about a week later so I was more lax. STill I managed to maintain for that week, with a few carbs in the mix so I figured, ok lets just start. Mainly b/c Oct is a busy month with a few events, so I wanted to get p2 done before Oct. Perhaps I should have listened.

Because this round didn't go as planned I very well MAY be back for one more either early Nov or Early Dec. But I'm relatively comfortable at my current weight so I could live with it you know?

But that totally regulated after a week and I never had to even do a CD in P3!

This time I probably will b/c of some events coming up.
Reddy--remember when I was telling you about my sucky round #2? I was hungry every. single. day As soon as I stopped the drops---bam, no hunger Went form hungry 24/7 to being stuffed 24/7. Talk about total turn around You will be surprised!!!! You may want a break--I took one at day #21 because I could not stand it any longer. I just wanted to not be hungry. It worked!!

So do you think when I stop that the hunger will go away? Man I hope so. I feel ravenous and I'm actually craving carbs which I don't usually do. Like I did Induction for 4 months without much trouble. B/c Once you don't have them you don't crave them.

I am going to try and push through one more week and then I'm done. I think I have about 12 days left, but I'll probably quit before that!

Also, Buttah, I agree with you about the Judd thing and maybe that IS why we are hungry. But if so, then why are others able to do a PI for a few weeks and come back and have no issues? That was my rationale for only doing Maintenance for 4 weeks instead of 6.

Yes, from my obsessive research, P4 is also about establishing, basically, a new set point, truly stabilizing yourself at that weight before taking off more. It seems this is key to long term success. And maybe you're not immune, you're just not stabilized? Because your first round wasn't THAT long, was it?

You've got to do what your body's telling you. If you're consistently hungry, your Leptin may be low, and you may, possibly be burning more muscle than you want. Although I want you to stay with us in P2! And yet I worry about you. Has your clinic been any more help at all?

Dawn, you skipped drops and ate for a day, then went right back to drops and VLCD? Is that a one day PI? I don't know anything about PI's!

They may not be as hungry as we've been. They may be taking PI's because of life, not hunger. They may have still started their P2 in better shape for the VLCD than we did. They may be re-feeding, which we didn't get really. t don't know.

You are probably right about all of these things. To be honest, I haven't even reached out to the girl at the Clinic b/c she doesn't speak English that well and I have a hard time understanding her. I didn't go to the clinic as an official "patient" b/c they are in Miami and so I did everything over the phone and had it shipped to me. (It was soooo much more expensive in the Tampa area) I'm sure I could consult with her again, but at this point I am chalking it up to a bad round. I have read so many people say they had a tough round 2 and or that no round was ever as good as their first, so I figure I'm not totally suprised.

It is now 8:30 though and I'm feeling pretty hungry and trying to hold out to have my apple. I may do one of those coffee drinks to keep me full later (decaf) but I'm hungry. I'm kind of getting used to it! If I'm not down at least a lb tomorrow I'll be so bummed!

Another thought - you might try the popular skip a day with no dose method (continue VLCD) and see if you feel hungrier or better. Maybe your dose is too high? Did going up help at all?

Oh yeah, definitely. I'm just saying thatwas my rationale for cutting P4 short. Oh well people do PI's... it's my last round, I can do it. Sigh...

I didn't realize your clinic was in a different city. Listen, it might not kill you to have a bit of extra something. Robin had me "add to my platter," I see on the coach BIZ's site that her clients average 600-700 calories - that everyone is different. It's just so horrible to be hungry. And Robin vehemently insists is not a good thing to be, so forgive me if I seem pushy. I just worry about you!!!

BTW, Biz has really helped Adeline who was also struggling with a round. Check out her story in the "Freedom" something thread. Perhaps you should check her out?

You don't seem pushy at all. I genuinely appreciate your support and insight!!

I have upped my protein a bit recently but probably not enough. I don't really count calories since my sheet kind of does it for you. But by adding that protein I probably do have closer to 600 calories these days anyway. Even more now that I'm eating melba!

I am not familiar with Biz. I am going to go check it out. And I am considering a call with Robin. Is it really expensive?

I did this the first week of R1 and skipped a shot and then the girl at the clinic said that if you have less than 30lbs to lose to not do that. I suppose I COULD try that but I don't know. I should probably reach out to her and see what she has to say about it all. I think my mind is just burnt out and the hunger is taking over.

I'm fighting my urges to raid the kitchen!

I don't recall if I stopped on Sat or Sun. But I did. Then I ate whatever Mon, Tues and Weds. Then started VLCDs again on Thurs. Not what I SHOULD have been doing, as I did not have enough VLCDs behind me. But I was not eating P2 style and didn't want to waste my pellets. I was ravenous right before TOM showed and could not eat enough. Just wanted to munch all the time...and not on the right things. The proper way to do a Planned Interruption is not the way I did it! Do NOT do what I did!

At this point, I'm not sure the girl at the clinic knows best. I know "Grammy" on the other board, and many others advocate skipping a day, no matter how much they have left to lose. If you feel better, you'll know by the middle/end of the day, and you'd assume your dose is too high. Did you know Robin's clinic has smaller people on as low as 110iu's, and even lower??? (Didn't seem to be the answer for me, but who knows... maybe it is for you.) If you feel worse, then you'd ask them to raise your dose even higher, perhaps up to 175iu. Just thinking out loud for you!

If your hcg was shipped to you, was it already mixed for you? If so your hcg may be bad. The hcg is very fragile and when it is shipped overseas it comes in powder form that you yourself make liquid by adding some to it. But you used it like that first round, huh? I wonder......

Hey Ladies
Sorry I haven't been in on this converstaion But i have been in my sewing room all eveing sewing.

But I checked out the bread and it has 10gm of carb(there's 15gms to 0ne carb) so not even one carb to one slice of the bread and the sugar is 1gm for one slice and that is what my grissinni has. So I am going to try it tomorrow and see how I do the next morning on th scales.

So if I as you say go rouge do I have to move tio the rouge thread? I sure hope not.

Also I did a PI last round and lost better after it than I did before it.I ended up losing 15lbs for the whole round. I did a 40 days because I did do an interuption otherwise I could not have went that long.

Anyway lets all do what is best for each of us as we are all different. We just have to keep watch and KUTGW.

Reddy, Robin's FB is great, but having her answer a question or two there is NOTHING like having a session with her. I will PM you more information. As for Biz, I think can google "biz and hcg coach" and find her.

It came separate and I had to mix it myself. It was not powder. It was a vial of what I believe is "bac water" or something and then the HCG. Did the same thing last time.

No I don't believe so but as buttah suggested, I could probalby figure it out through Google.

Is the facebook page private? If so I'd love to join but if not i probably won't b/c I'm trying to keep the fact that I'm doing this on the down low since people can be so critical of it.

Manders your ring is so pretty and how sweet that it says I love you!

It's now 10pm and guess who is STARVING? This girl. It's always worst at this time and I can't seem to get past it. I don't want to cheat b/c it's not worth it but I need FOOD. What can I eat that will be acceptable? I suppose I could munch on some celery as much as that is not appealing to me AT ALL!
