Hcg diet after pregnancy...
I had a baby 3 1/2 months ago. I of course gained some weight and want to do the diet again. I have been scared about putting hcg in my system because I have also had horrible postpartum depression and just started getting better. I do not breastfeed and I do the hcg through a doc. I feel like this is the only way for me to lose the weight I want to. I lost 50lbs on it before pregnancy. Just wanted to get all of your advice I'am kinda scared to do it.

Way too much time on my hands!

And congrats on the new baby. Since you are doing it through a doctor, share your concerns. I am not familiar with depression or postpartum but my heart goes out to you. If you do decide to start, please post often for support. |

Doesn't postpartum happen because of the change once the baby is born? If so, I don't know, I'm not a doctor, but it seems to me that the hcg is hormones your body produces when pregnant and strangely enough may help. PLEASE Talk to your doctor about it. Don't wait to get help for postpartum depression. Be good to yourself. Having a baby is hard work. Thanks for producing another beautiful, responsible person for our human race!

I'am actually not sure what causes PP really I guess hormones. I have gotten help I decided to not wait and got it early on. Having the weight on does not help with how I feel though and I would love to do the diet again.
