Happy Labor Day!! I am leaving in a few mins for work! For those of you who are lucky enough to have the day off----enjoy!!!!

Today is my VLCD#1. I won't go into what round I am on because it is in the double digits and I have stopped counting on the last round. But I am ready to see the scale go down!!!!! Have a great day all!!!!!!!

Good luck on VLCD1, Dawn. That will be tomorrow for me. I am on my second day of loading and looking forward to dropping some weight also. This is my last day of running for a while too, so I think I'll try to get an extra long run in.

Looking forward to the first day of kindergarten tomorrow for my daughter. She's super excited, and I'm excited to have all of that time to work. All summer, I've been getting up at 5:00 AM to have a couple of hours of uninterrupted time to get my freelance writing work done. Now I'll have 6 hours a day! Wow!! I'll miss have my daughter around all day, but I think it will be nice for all of us to have a little separation. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Today is loading day 2 and I just wish I could start! I already loaded this whole weekend and it cost me 7lbs gain which is Quite depressing! I know I'm going to be losing it but it stinks to think that I could have been that much further ahead if I wouldn't have over indulged! It wasn't even worth it! (never is!!)

Hoping to take it all of quickly so I don't lose my mind on the scale everyday!

Good Morning,

I'm new to LCF and really enjoy the encouragement found on these boards. This morning I'm looking for encouragement and advice.

I'm on R2P2D17. First round of injections, I was down 30 lbs in 40 days, with several cheats in week 2 and 3. During P3 and P4, stabilized perfectly with no gains.

First 5 days of VLCD I dropped 9 lbs - but the scale has not moved since then. Exactly the same weight every morning for 11 days. I have not deviated AT ALL, but have had a very sour stomach for the last week. Last Wednesday, R2P2D12 did a Steak Day and was down .5lb on Thursday, but Friday AM right back up. Good news was that I am down another inch in waist.

Dr increased my dosage from 150 to 175 on Saturday and I thought there would be a loss this morning. Nope, same number on the scale. I am not hungry, I feel great - just not losing. TOM is due in 8 days but was delayed a week in R1.

Doing an apple day today - any other suggestions, advice or wisdom?

Good Morning and Happy Labor Day!

I am starting VLCD1 today, like Dawn, won't mention what round, let's just call it my final round :-)

Auntlori, the only advise I can give is to just stick with the plan and the plan will work. Sometimes we get in a stall on the scale, but as you mentioned, we see loss in inches, which is very exciting!
If you know you are on track, then don't get discouraged. We need to measure our success by how well we follow plan, rather than what the scale says.
If we keep doing the right thing, we will see results, eventually :-)

Lori, you should ask Manders about the fat fast. Seemed to work well for her! I'm definitely going to keep it in mind if I stall out this round.

Good morning everyone! Today is p2vlcd1 for me and I did one successful round 2 years ago. I've had a few false starts but the pressure is on this time and I'm ready to go! I'm just a little rogue in that I will be having broccoli lol..aren't I a rebel

Here's todays menu:
Snow Crab legs, broccoli, frozen apple slices
Filet mignon, broccoli and sliced strawberries
Loads of water with lemon, black coffee and club soda

Wishing everyone a great day and I'm looking forward to seeing all of our scales go DOWN!

i actually just finished a 4 day fat fast and lost 2 1/2 lbs after a one week stall. it was nice to have fatty foods but i'm kind of glad to be back on vlcd.

Hello and
I do not do injections but if I remember correctly from those that do 125 is what is suppose to be. Shebly and some of the others would be able to help you much more. But also on PH2 we are not to do CDs unless its an apple day(as far as I know anyway?)I could be wrong there too.

So gues I really wasn't much help. Sorry

Hey all

I've decided to start my planned interruption a few days early for a couple of reasons:

1. My grandma came to visit me unexpectedly and is staying with me for a week, and
2. I've been stalling around 162-164 and need the break mentally.

Yesterday was VLCD21 for me, so (with the help of some sage advice! ) I made that my LDD and will start P3 interruption on Wednesday, rather than start on Saturday as was my initial plan. Then I'll take the two weeks, resume VLCDs on Monday 9/17, and go the rest of the way, which should be another 19 days or Friday 10/5. I also may cut it a couple days short and end on 10/3 so I can eat P3 that weekend, but we'll see where I am in that highly anticipated first week of October I'm hoping I can still reach my goals (aka 150)!!

I was 164 this morning, which is slightly up from yesterday, despite taking milk of magnesia and having some serious bathroom movement I weighed myself like 6 times because I was so stunned, lol! I dunno what my problem is, but right now I suspect I may be going too wild on the diet soda. That's what my instinct is telling me, anyway..I never drank soda in my first round so maybe it's messing with me? I'm going to cut it down or out and see if it helps..if so, I can take that knowledge with me into the second leg of VLCDs. Fingers crossed!

I needed to make myself feel better, so I pulled out a bikini I bought myself years ago as my "goal bikini" and put it on for the first time in a looooong time. I have to say it's not perfect, but it ain't too bad either! Definitely way better than the last time I put it on, which was about 20 pounds ago Maybe if I do get to 150, I'll look good enough to wear it in public! I hope so

Anyway, I'm rambling, ha. Just was feeling frustrated but I feel better having a plan of action. Who knows, maybe I'll even drop a couple pounds during interruption? It's not unheard of! Lol.

Hey, guys! Today is VLCD3 for me. And just like the trouble-maker that he is, TOM came on Load Day 2, after an 8-week absence (happens when you're 55).

Anyway, I gained 2.3 during loading. Some could've been just TOM fluids.
This morning I was down 5.7 from there (down 2.4 from pre-load weight). Can't complain there!

My biggest issue has been hunger. Could've been TOM, which is almost gone. Could be my dose (150iu RX injections). So far today seems a little bit better. Fingers crossed.

Welcome lori!

During P2, we tend to use apple days to break stalls. Steak days are used for corrections during P3 and P4.

Try your apple day today. When I did mine, I still drank water and I lost 4 pounds of fluid. It was nutty. I can't imagine you not losing anything today after 11 days of staying the same.

I am on a FF right now, however I'm actually doing a modified version. The strict traditional fat fast was too restrictive and brought out my binge eating issues. In the last 5 days, I've gone down 4.4 pounds, so it's working well. It wasn't because I was stalled out, but it was because my body was so depleted after losing 50 pounds that I needed a boost to recharge and refocus. Ever since I've began doing my modified FF, I haven't had a single craving for sugar!

Okay! I tried doing the strict FF for 2 days and it worked the first day, I went down 3 pounds. But then that sent me into a bit of a tail spin with my binge eating issues, so I changed to the modified and I have it under control now. I'm leaving (on a jet plaaaane) to see BF on sunday, so I will probably do it until then. Once I get there, I can grab food at the grocery store since we have a fridge in our suite.

Well I try to keep my calories around 1500 a day (but I don't sweat it unless I go over), comprised of at least 80% fat, under 40g of protein, and under 15g of carbs. I try to keep my carbs super low. So for example yesterday (I woke up really late) I ate:

Lunch
3 eggs over easy
4 pieces of bacon

Dinner
4 eggs scrambled with
3 TBSP of mayonnaise

Snack
3-4 TBSP of peanut butter (no sugar added)

I had 3 coffee's throughout the day with about 2 TBSP of HWC in each. I was trying out the whole "egg day" thing yesterday and it worked well. I'm down 1.4 today to a brand new virgin weight.

I also wanted to mention that I purposely purchased the low-quality bacon with more fat than meat. It seems to be really good for getting my calories up. I also save the bacon grease and use it on my eggs.

When I was at the grocery store earlier, I was like "gee, I hope I don't have a heart attack or something." And then I laughed, but then I was like

Doesn't sound like much food to me.Geeeze.I would rather just have a vlc day than that. Funny how everyone is so different
The egg cds workd a 2 lbs loss for me almost every time.If don't add the bacon or sausage with the morning eggs and do 100% eggs all day then I do have a 2 lb loss.But haven't needed one so far this round.

It sure seems like a loooooong time since I was able to lose weight.This is the hardest part (not losing) for me anyway.Love the way I eat.... but not the rest of it Are we ever satisfied

I have been on PH4 for three weeks now and didn't even realize it until I looked at my calendar the other day.SO actually I only have three more weeks till PH2 (if I wait the full amount of time).My DD lost over 100 lbs in less than year(which I have stated before) and she NEVER did a PH4 and she was on Hucog 125 RXHCG Sublingual. So each person is different.And the P&I was written 50 years ago so much has changed since then. IMO if DR.S. was alive he would do alot of revising the plan.

Well I did wake up at 11am... so I only ended up eating the 2 meals. I'm trying to only eat to hunger as another way to control my binge eating and I've been journaling with every meal to identify why I'm eating, how I feel before, during and after. It was something I learned in counselling and I fell away from.

That's amazing about your daughter! I know quite a few people who haven't ever gone into P4 and did just fine! During my weight loss journey, I've really learned that what works for one person, might not work for another and vice verse. It's all a learning experience, and we have to find what works for each of us. And even then, sometimes what we're doing stops working so we have to change it up. I'm actually still taking my HCG, so I like to pop in and out of this thread.

We like you too!!

Your menu sounds so yummy. I'm about to go into an interruption but will probably throw a FF or two in there just for fun! I don't mind eating chocolate hwc mousse all day..

Berta -- It doesn't look like a whole lot of food but if you're eating straight fat you fill up quickly..trust me! Strange but true! And FYI you only have two weeks more of P4 if you wait the whole time, not three. And if the waiting time only applies to RX and not homeopathic, then you've technically waited the right amount of time already, since your first round was homeopathic. Just something to think about

3 TBSP of mayonnaise

Snack
3-4 TBSP of peanut butter (no sugar added)

I had 3 coffee's throughout the day with about 2 TBSP of HWC in each. I was trying out the whole "egg day" thing yesterday and it worked well. I'm down 1.4 today to a brand new virgin weight.

I also wanted to mention that I purposely purchased the low-quality bacon with more fat than meat. It seems to be really good for getting my calories up. I also save the bacon grease and use it on my eggs.

When I was at the grocery store earlier, I was like "gee, I hope I don't have a heart attack or something." And then I laughed, but then I was like

Berta -- It doesn't look like a whole lot of food but if you're eating straight fat you fill up quickly..trust me! Strange but true! And FYI you only have two weeks more of P4 if you wait the whole time, not three. And if the waiting time only applies to RX and not homeopathic, then you've technically waited the right amount of time already, since your first round was homeopathic. Just something to think about

And 12 weeks on the 3rd round after PH3?

After the second round, it's 5 weeks of P4 (3 weeks P3 + 5 weeks P4 = 8 weeks total before next P2)

After round 3, it's 9 weeks P4 (3 weeks P3 + 9 weeks P4 = 12 weeks total before next P2)

How was work? Was it busy because of the holiday?

I don't know how you forgot to weigh, I jump out of bed every morning just for that LOL

Mandy, when you are being bad you just don't want to know

Work was busy, but I was in the kitchen doing dishes they really need to get a dishwasher machine. I hate doing dishes and they take forever.......I was doing them for 2+ hours!!!

Good thing about where I work--I get a free meal. I get to have grilled chicken and a salad! I pick off the extras on the salad so it is just lettuce and use the fat free honey mustard dressing. That is my lunch for P2! Will be every day this week too. I am so glad too. I hate to cook just for me. This same me some time and effort.

I honestly wish I could eat salad! Causes so much intestinal distress for me.

I noticed there is a chick-fil-a in Michigan, but I refuuuuse to go there while on vacay. I am going to be a good little girl and just try to stay the same

Yes I rememeber that I am sorry but .....I didnt realize that PH3 was included in the total.That makes it much better!!!!
