Hi everyone!

Manders - good luck on the fat fast! Let us know how it goes.

Berta - I didn't mean to imply you were quoting me, just that I had quoted the exact same passage to you in my original point about this discussion. I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I just really hope it continues to work for you! Really I do! I am just trying to avoid any confusion for newbies here. Good luck on your round!

Eddie - whoohoo on the cheat/loss! That's fantastic! And I'll echo Dawn here--MEN! Ya lucky dogs!

Happy, Cocoa, Dawn, Vanna - hope you ladies are hanging in there!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So as for me, I had a VERY stressful day yesterday. I had to talk to friend about a touchy subject (which always stresses me out) , my work project moved into "red" status and I had to re-do a bunch of stuff that was dependent on a timeline that we won't be able to meet, which will push up or cancel a few days off that I had planned to take in Mexico , and to top it off, I forgot my meds yesterday morning (which I didn't realize until today!) . The scale actually cooperated and dropped me another 1.2 this morning so I'll just thank my lucky stars and move on! I've got 1.6 to go to hit goal but I expect that I will see a bump up tomorrow since I have my yoga class tonight and that always makes me retain from muscle soreness. I'm hoping for a small gain or STS so that I can see goal over the weekend but in any case, LID is Sunday so what will be, will be!
Everyone, stay strong, stick to it, and keep your heads up! We can do it!
Oh and I decided to transition a la Biz. This involves gradually ramping up calories using what she calls "good fats" (GY, sour cream, butter/oils, and adding eggs in the 2 days after LID, and continuing to add 250 calories per day in extra protein, eggs and good fats, up to 1750 calories. No cheese, no nuts or nut butters, until well into P3. Going to give this the ole college try! Wish me luck!
GAH! That was stressful. I had a meeting with a well-known Canadian beauty writer/blogger to feature one of my products in my salon on her website. I think I just got about 20 grey hairs!
LOL YEP!
It was very stressful. I'm pretty much opening myself up for criticism, which is hard for me to do, because I'm not the type to criticize others (openly) lol
I guess I will know in a few weeks when she writes her article.
I think buttah is asking this very question. Or it may not be related. She says her clinic does a 40 day program with no skip days and was wondering if that was a good idea or not. Same idea because of the immunity thing. She didn't know if that was a good thing, or a bad thing. The no skip days that is. Anyway, I don't know a thing about Rx. Good thing because I am so and reading all this talk about numbers I just do my P2 and am done with it!
How funny - I just saw this! Although I'm not asking about breaks between rounds, just whether the skip days are done in modern times on longer rounds. It seems that many people don't follow Dr. S's advice to skip during TOM, so I know things do change.
You can do 40 doses without skipping. Dr. S notes this as being approximately the average length of time you can last BEFORE you develop immunity. Some people start showing symptoms around 35 doses, others don't show symptoms until 42, 43, 45, etc. If you want to make your round go a week or two longer to lose a few extra pounds, you can skip a dose every week on the same day of the week to prolong the 40 doses..but it's still about 40 doses before the symptoms of immunity set in.
In my opinion: Dr. S is saying that people that only NEED 23 injections (aka the people that only want to lose 10-15 pounds) will never develop immunity WITHIN THE ROUND, since those people would only be doing one round and then they'd be done for good. They wouldn't be taking any more doses than that, so they wouldn't have to worry about becoming immune. For longer rounds or multiple rounds, however, immunity will likely set in eventually unless you give yourself enough of a break from hCG to reset yourself. Hence his recommendations for the length of time to wait in between rounds.
I doubt that taking a week or two in the middle of the round or going back and forth between P2 and P3 would completely solve the immunity issue. Sure, it would likely delay it, but I think it would catch up to you eventually.
ETA: This really only applies to RX hCG...you don't have to worry about immunity if you take homeopathic hCG, so many people do cycle back and forth between P2 and P3 when they do homeopathic.
And those are my thoughts!
LOL I wish. I went a bit over 1000 today, so I'm pretty much donezo for the night. I can't cook up a big batch of bacon and then put it in the fridge because otherwise, I would eat the ENTIRE package tonight.
Thanks Vanna
I'm 64 years old and I will do what I want.It matters not what or how anyone else thinks
I didn't mean to open a can of worms. I was merely making a statment to a thread friend on a post
But anyway its all good!
I am considering going a bit longer because we are having company over the week end and some plans to eat out next week.SO if I do that then it will have been eight weeks before going back to PH2. Which is what P&I says to do.
Yup. Just want to get some opinions because I am reading it differently. If someone asks me a question, I want to know the right answer. The text IS confusing, as many passages are in P&I.
Ok! It is finally FINALLY Friday! Sheesh! I think the last full week of P2 kicks my butt in many, many ways! Hope everyone is gearing up for a great weekend. I'm going to try out my new rollerblades at the beach tomorrow morning. Then I've got some girl time planned. The entire list of boyz are being flakey as usual! May or may not have dates set up. Is it really unreasonable to be asked out by Friday for a date over the weekend? Seriously!
So as expected, I was up just a smidge this morning--0.1--which usually happens after my yoga class. I can feel the soreness settling in but I am hoping for a decent drop tomorrow morning. I expect LIW will be slightly higher than 140 because of the rollerblading but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Can you say...WIGGLE ROOM???
Hope everyone has a great day a a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Stay strong and remember BBQ is the PERFECT P2 food!
YAAAAYYY Friday! The office closes early today, which automatically means I don't want to do anything..haha. I do have a couple things I need to get done though!
I'm 162.8 today, which I think is the same as yesterday? Gosh getting into the 150's is taking forever!! I was 164.6 a week ago - sheesh! I'm hoping for a whoosh soon. I also think maybe I should cut back on the stevia soda and not have cocoa powder for a bit. Just gonna stick to the basics and hope it helps.
That on top of people at work bugging me to go out to lunch and me feeling kinda deprived makes me just wanna quit but I can't quit, I can't! I have goals I want to achieve, damnit! Sigh.
I'm gonna try for a fun, relaxing weekend..maybe I'll feel better afterwards. Have a lovely Friday everyone!
You are so kind to stick up for me I just think everyone tries to help.But the thing is we all have our way to do things and there are going to be a million different opinions.SO we ALL have to do what works for us!!
And there are no HCG COPS
Actually, I have been looking at he 800 cal HHCG plan... but not sure if that would be for ME!I didn't see any tomatoes listed and I eat tomatoes ALOT on PH2. I hope this doesn't start and whole new topic.
