So sorry you're struggling Julie! Maybe introducing carbs will actually help kick start your metabolism.
Also maybe check out raspberry Keytones? I haven't used them at all this week but perhaps they have residual effects bc I'm not that hungry the past few days! |

Hi ladies!! So far im maintaining my weight. I eat between 1300- 2000 calories. I added cocoa almonds, natural pnut butter, whl grain pumpkin seeds crackers, cheese,multigrain bread occasionally. Only done one CD so far. Im not exercising yet.

I am .2 BELOW my window this morning. So 2.2 under LIW! ![]() NO idea how this is happening but I'll take it since I'm going to be starting in with some carbs tonight. I'll try and be good this weekend but it's nice to have 4lbs of wiggle room. I honestly have had NO appetite this week. Not sure if it's due to the stress I've been under or if it's HCG related. I haven't taken the raspberry keytones all week b/c I haven't needed to. I honestly think I've been too busy to eat. It's interesting since in the past I was always a stress eater. I always WISHED I was one of those people who doesnt eat under stress! Either way, I wanted to check in since I"m not sure how much I'll be online for the next few days. MIL and my Sister come in this evening and then Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandma, and my parents tomorrow. Tomorrow is LO's Bday and his party is Saturday. Send good vibes that the Hurricane stays away from us so we can have nice weather!! Hope everyone is doing great and maintaining well! ![]() |

Hi guys, just saying hello from p2 land... I will be joining you Thursday I'm wrapping it up one day sooner... but just in time for a 26 day total.
So I finally realized why I was always gaining 2 lbs right out of the gate... it was because I was counting the 72 hours incorrectly!!!! If I did my last dose on Monday at 7am I would start eating p3 Weds morning and thats actually only 48 hours!!!! How could I have miscalculated that? I have been subjecting myself to being at the top of my window right out of the gate and then leading to CD after CD! So, if my last dose is Sunday then Weds morning should be okay right? (im on injections) ugh!!!

If your last dose is Sunday morning, then Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are your three days w/o hCG. Sunday, all day, is a day with hCG and the 72 hours (actually three days per Simeon, if you are following the protocol) starts Monday. I've seen people do all sorts of things, though. Good luck! |

Manders-thanks!! Does the SG stuff taste good? I have the JC light margarita mix and it's good, but not too sweet. Next time I make those I think I'll add some splenda and see how it tastes .Berta- Happy Anniversary!! I'm so happy for you love birds and a nice bonus to lose even after eating out!! ![]() Amy- at dbf. Dh just eats my fries, that's his contribution to my plan .I'm up a bit today. Too many carbs yesterday, and apparently not enough fat. That's an odd turn of events. Only 0.8, but I'm taking action today . A bit sore from my workout too, but hope to go back to the gym today. Plugging away in careful territory. This is the start of week 2 of P4 and I'm a tad above my window. Not awful, but of course there is a part of me that longs to be lower in my window again. So, I'm going to *attempt* to lower overall cals today. Sigh. I hate to do it, but gonna' give it a shot.Also, little aside, my temp is down a full degree this morning. I didn't get much sleep, added back exercise and think I missed a dose of my thyroid supplement yesterday. I was hoping the higher carbs would help keep that temp up, but that's concerning me today. I thought I was nice and stable there. . I'll see what tomorrow brings. Could be a fluke w. TOM here and all.

Weird, I always thought you had to give yourself 72 hours from your last dose! Hmm. That's what I did last time..haha. But the wording in P&I does seem to imply a full 3 days, so I was never 100% sure.

Not 100% sure about that...
Directly from P&I: Plan of a Normal Course 125 I.U. of HCG daily (except during menstruation) until 40 doses have been given. Until 3rd dose forced feeding. After 3rd dose, 500 calorie diet to be continued until 72 hours after the last dose. For the following 3 weeks, all foods allowed except starch and sugar in any form (careful with very sweet fruit). After 3 weeks, very gradually add starch in small quantities, always controlled by morning weighing. |

So if her last dose is Mon morning, wouldn't that be Thurs. morning for P3? 72 hours from Mon morning is Thurs. morning, right?
I'm actually toying with doing another round of Hcg. I'm thrilled to be here in the 140's, but still pretty well insulated . I have half a bottle of pellets and several days worth of frozen P2 meals still in the freezer. Dh will be away for half of it, which is usually a big challenge for me. It would give me enough time to do 3 full weeks of P3 and 3.5 weeks of P4 before my bid trip to Ca. I'm not excited at the thought of P2, and really thought I'd be happy enough just to be in the 140's. But, when I'm in a bathing suit I'm painfully aware that I really do have lots of abnormal fat to lose. As the longer break btw rounds is really for Rx immunity issues, I may just bite the bullet. Not sure. Just mulling thus far. We'll see. I really hate P2, but this window is perfect timing. Hmmm. |
