Well, I hit 148.5 yesterday so that puts me back into a good weight range for me. About 8 pounds and I can call this baby cooked! So annoying to have to lose this weight over again but I guess it's better than NOT losing it...

Morning no losses to report today but I think that my body doesnt know that its really early and I've woken up yet lol. I'm not going to worry but I wanted to have just one reular meal so badly yesterday, but I didnt. sigh....

Yep, better than the alternative. I just relost 20 lbs myself...GAAHHH! I knew I was putting it back on too and didn't reign myself in. Penalty phase for me!

Good girl for hanging tough! Hopefully you will be rewarded tomorrow!

I am on my last VLCD without HCG...yesterday was tough, the day before DH (who is also coming of the HCG) and I were both...errrrr....grumpy and nasty to each other. Luckily no children were around to witness the insanity. Today I feel normal...and he seems better.


22.3 lbs and I'm 1.6 below LDW so a tad of wiggle room and hoping for a bit more wiggle tomorrow a.m.

Keep on losing, everyone!

Bad Boys...Bad Boys.... what you gonna do when they come for you

Well I am back from one crazy PI weekend and Proverbs 23:29-35 sure rings true. WOW
No I didn't get in any trouble just alot of fun. Went way off protocol and feasted like a King . I came home yesterday and wieghed myself fully clothed and I saw a 8lb gain, totally not worth it. But wait this morning I wieghed in again the right way in the buff(sorry ladies no pictures attached) and I only was up 3.2 lbs. I can handle that. To sum up for 3.2 the weekend was worth it but not 8lbs. So back on course ready to ....

I am day1 round 2 another 40 dayer with more walks and I am totally motivated goal this round 190. Missed you ladies your support for me matters!

Only 2 more days!!

Second-to-last day of VLC Never thought I'd make it without cheating, but I have! This weekend was tough, I was sick of the diet, sick of apples, oranges and plain old chicken, and had to really struggle not to throw in the towel early. Especially since my losses have slowed to 0.2 every day, and then today I am UP 0.8 Oh well, I'm not going to stress about it. I'm about 6 pounds from the goal I really wanted (145) but I always knew it was too optimistic anyway. Since my weight loss has slowed down so much, it makes sense to be done with HCG, and move on.....into P3 on Wednesday, and then P4 with JUDDD. Can't wait!!!

I weighed in at 209.2 this morning, so I am down .8. I've got to make the most of these last 12 days after that 10 day stall. Focused on getting a gallon of water in, sticking to protocol and walking this afternoon.

LaraSuzz - Looks like you and I end P2 the same day.

Shelbyla - Much better than not losing it! I spent most of this round relosing my horrid
R2. Hopefully, I can glide through the next 4 months and stabilize well for this round.

Eddie - Great resolve.

You're doing awesome and you're so close!! I was 169.4 this morning but I also haven't been having any BMs...I grabbed a couple of senna tea bags to drink today at work to get things going!! Next weigh-in Saturday?

WELL..that depends on the boys!

+3.2 for feasting like a king is not even bad at all! I'd consider that great! You'll lose it in the next few days for sure. If you had fun on your PI and it gave you the mental break you needed to keep going, that's all that matters. Glad to see you back, I missed you too!

Congrats on not throwing in the towel!! It does take resolve, especially towards the end. But you can be totally proud of yourself for sticking it out.

Well, VLCD8 today and I'm feeling good. In the 160's barely, but I also desperately need some visits from Bernice..drinking the senna tea today to see if it helps. Then maybe I'll weigh again or just wait till Saturday! I also had what was probably the most awkward weekend of my life, but I'll just say that if I can stay on P2 through a company picnic at Six Flags and breaking up with my boyfriend of over 2 years, then I can stay on it through just about anything..

Today's menu:

B- coffee w/ hazelnut stevia, yum!
L- chicken breast, spring salad mix, apple
D- probably chicken breast and salad again, with 1/2 grapefruit..but I'll be shopping for veggies and cooking beef and fish for the week

Today is VLCD5, only down .4 this morning. I don't think I drank enough water yesterday. I'm into virgin territory now though! 181.6! wooohooo! that's 7.6 pounds in 4 days.

I got all ready for work this morning even though I normally take Mondays off to go in and see one client, only to check my blackberry on the way out and see that she's cancelled. So I went to the kitchen because I was absolutely STARVING, and I started to cut up veggies for a salad when the phone starts ringing and it's my mom calling to tell me that the lettuce in our fridge has been recalled due to e.coli!!!! I almost threw up right there LOL thank goodness I hadn't eaten any yet. That kinda put me off. I ended up eating a small tomato and a few slices of cucumber with a bit of turkey sausage. I'm not really sure why, but I am REALLY hungry the past few days. I've been taking my hHCG like normal, although I will admit this is the first time I've really stuck to plan vis-a-vis amounts of food. Maybe my body is just REALLY adjusting this time?

Personally I think filet mignon tastes WAY better than Mahi Mahi...

Wow busy thread today, trying to read up and then remember what I wanna say.... lol

Timsbeloved~ 11 days and counting! I have an omlet in my future with Tilamook cheddar salsa and sour cream mmm and coffee with cream

Eddie~ No mid day weighings and especially with your clothes on! What were you wearing Chaps? lol

um so today I'm kinda spotting which explains the slow down on the weight loss... and im feeling mega emotional right now... One my my ex's friends died in his sleep Saturday morning he was very overweight with medical issues... the kindest most gentle sweet man. sheesh this year has been a doozy. It's awful. I just hope that the hcg is doing no harm and this really isnt supposed to happen cause I'm on the pill all the time, grrr. I did take it late one day so its all my fault and I hope it stops soon... 10 days cant come soon enough. On a good note, someone in the office heard me talking earlier and I was saying something I used to do 20 years ago and he came up and said I cant believe you said that I thought you were 23!!!! I told him I loved him. lol

Lara I am real sorry you lost a dear friend. I too have lost quite a few this year.

Oh I can tell you a story about the time I walked into a bar with only my chaps and a sock on a dare but I won't btw I thought you were 22 1/2 years old, how dare him say you looked 23.

Well, went out for dinner. I ended up having the whole steak (dang) and the broccoli already had butter on it. It didn't seem like a lot though. I'm preparing myself for a gain tomorrow.

On another note, I seem to still not realize how different I look. I had gone to the post office with my mom tonight and when we were stopped at the light on the way home, some young boys about 18 or so pulled up beside us and (according to my mom) started freaking out over me. They were yelling and trying to get my attention, so finally I looked over and they were winking and waving and making kiss faces at me. So I rolled down my window and yelled "I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!!" and the one driving goes "WELL YOU CAN HAVE TWO!!!!!" and I just burst out laughing. It was so completely ridiculous. Then they started saying inappropriate things I can't post, and the entire time my mom was laughing her butt off. I was like great, thanks woman!

Anyways, I was really very shocked that they were freaking out over me, I guess because my head is still wrapped around how I looked 51 pounds ago. When we got home, she had to reenact the entire thing to my father. I wanted to die of embarrassment. But on the same note, I guess it's nice to have a bit of attention, even if it IS sleazy lol glad to see you back Eddie!

Well, went out for dinner. I ended up having the whole steak (dang) and the broccoli already had butter on it. It didn't seem like a lot though. I'm preparing myself for a gain tomorrow.

On another note, I seem to still not realize how different I look. I had gone to the post office with my mom tonight and when we were stopped at the light on the way home, some young boys about 18 or so pulled up beside us and (according to my mom) started freaking out over me. They were yelling and trying to get my attention, so finally I looked over and they were winking and waving and making kiss faces at me. So I rolled down my window and yelled "I HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!!" and the one driving goes "WELL YOU CAN HAVE TWO!!!!!" and I just burst out laughing. It was so completely ridiculous. Then they started saying inappropriate things I can't post, and the entire time my mom was laughing her butt off. I was like great, thanks woman!


Anyways, I was really very shocked that they were freaking out over me, I guess because my head is still wrapped around how I looked 51 pounds ago. When we got home, she had to reenact the entire thing to my father. I wanted to die of embarrassment. But on the same note, I guess it's nice to have a bit of attention, even if it IS sleazy lol glad to see you back Eddie!
Manders you look great judging by your picture. Just remember you earned the attention you are getting. I'm glad you are reaping the reward(compliments).

Ok. well I'm back in the saddle and down 2 pounds this a.m.

Eddie- you did great on your PI!! Mine was about the same and fortunately, dropped off within a couple of days when back on protocol. Good job!!

Also, wanted to share this little ditty with ya.. I have a good friend who belongs to a pretty big MC down here in SC. One day, while on Facebook, I saw a post on his wall about hCG and how he lost 25 pounds so--- of course I clicked on the link. It was a site selling hhCG. I decided to do some more research on the internet before I purchased- that's how I found this place and it was the beginning of my hhCG journey.

I saw him last week and he said: "Wow- you look great!" And, I was like- "It's all your fault!!" He was completely perplexed when I gushed on and on about how if it weren't for his post I would have brushed hCG off as another diet gimmick.... imagine my surprise when he said: "What the hell is hCG?" He and a couple of his club members are starting this weekend. LOL.. Divine Intervention?

Question: What do we do when we plateau at a previous set-point on P2 since CD's are not allowed in this phase?? Any suggestions would REALLY be appreciated!!

That's a hilarious story, I'm still smiling, love it when the boys start to go ga-ga..

I'm on a plateau, times 4 days now... according to protocol we should do an apple day, 6 apples limited water intake... starting at lunch through to breakfast the next day... didnt really understand the until breakfast time the next day part... either that or wait for it to break. I will give it one more day maybe? Dunno but at this point I could have cheated on Sunday and gotten away with it. GRRR!!

2 things. First, as Lara mentioned, an apple day. Fast til breakfast then eat up to six apples in a 24 hour period. Most people just eat them for the one day (e.g. from noon until bedtime that day), unless they are in the habit of eating fruit for breakfast. Second (NOT protocol), a mini steak or all protein day. Mini steak involves cutting out the fruit, grissini, and one veg and having your two protein portions or 7 oz of lean steak for dinner with a raw tomato.

So Shelby do you gain from this mini steak or all protein day? Have you done it before and if so did you see a loss the next day?

i did an apple day after 4 days w/a few ounces lost/gained. i ended up losing one pound. i did it right before my mom got here and i did an (un)planned interruption cause i really didn't plan it.

i wrote this in the all phases thread but will post it here too:

i was on hhcg for 39 days and wanted to continue but my mom came from out of town and made me so much yummy food for a week so i took an (un)planned interruption for the week she was here. i stopped hhcg and ate EVERYTHING. lol. i didn't even take the two days w/no hhcg and vlcd like i was supposed to.

i had every intention of continuing the vlcd while she was here but couldn't resist her cooking :P

so as soon as she left, i went straight back to vlcd and hhcg. i gained 5 pounds while she was here and just lost it all. (took a week). so i'm the same as i was two weeks ago which i'm okay with. i weigh 117.8 and its TOM. i am not sure what my goal is anymore. it was 120. then 115. now 110 or 105. the weightloss w/hhcg is so addicting!

Its the limited water thing thats worrying me. I'm already feeling weird since Sunday. My eyeballs are dry lol. How important is it to not drink water on an apple day. Maybe I need some red meat... I think its cuz I'm having spotting that I feel that way but it stopped yesterday. I dont feel that well today either. boo. Thanks for the tips, I will decide what to do later I guess.

Maybe a hot date would make me feel better, lol.
