No loss for me today, but I am not surprised. I lost 1.2# yesterday, so it all evens out. Hoping for no more stalls. Only 9 more days to go. Already starting to plan my P3 menus.

I'm down 1.8!!!! I almost threw in the towel yesterday. I said to my body... if you loose a pound tomorrow I will keep going if no loss youre on your way to p3. I guess thats what it takes for things to happen? lol.

Good morning peeps, and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!

Thank the powers that be that this week is OVER! Yesterday, well aside from the nice scale drop, I just wanted a do-over...kwim?

Anyway, not much to report this morning. Bernice didn't visit so I was up a smidge on the scale (0.2) but tomorrow's weight is what really counts. I'd like to see 145 something tomorrow but the scale will do what the scale will do!

Work-wise, we are FINALLY starting to roll out this piece of software that I have been designing for the last two years. Users get a first look next week then we go into serious testing mode then parallel. My test cases are in the oven and will be fully baked by the end of next week (i.e. people are looking at them to see if anything is missing!). 11/12/12 is a nice day for a new system! It's kinda exciting to see your work come to fruition... And I know you are all COMPLETELY riveted by that!

On the boy front, got a couple of tentative dates this weekend (I say tentative because these guys are ALL at least 50% flakey!). One on Saturday morning with a new dude. One on Sunday with the dude from last Monday. Gotta keep my options open until at least one of them STOPS being flakey! Got a couple more on the line for next week.

BFF's are coming over tonight for a nice P2 dinner of beef and cabbage-something and a pedi party then tomorrow we are spice shopping. Anyone who loves great spices and is looking for something to relieve the boredom of P2, check out the Penzey's website. Absolutely amazing quality spices and dirt cheap compared to the grocery.

I don't have a whole lot to report either. I've definitely been more lethargic on this round than my first round, but maybe it's because I haven't been getting b12 shots like I was last time. I'm also a little hungrier and the hCG solution actually stings a bit and feels like a bruise as it injects, which didn't happen to me before either. If I do another round down the road, I'll probably get a different brand to see if it helps. In the meantime, it's not like it's awful. I can handle 5 minutes of slight discomfort every morning if it means I'll lose weight..haha. I'm also no stranger to feeling hungry sometimes (mainstream 1200 cal low-fat diet/living off of diet bars/intermittent fasting, anyone? ). Oh, the things we do to feel beautiful.

Weighing in tomorrow and hoping for the low 160's! Cause then I can start getting into VWT next week, which would be sweet.

Cocoa - OOOH low 160's would be good. I take a daily B complex supplement and I find that really helps.

I stayed the EXACT same today. 178.8. I had a bit of extra chicken at 1 am because I was so hungry I thought my stomach was going to eat itself. I'm having a super bad day, and thankfully my coffee shop was out of nanaimo bars, or else I would have bought like 4. I did have a bit of cream in my coffee though. :/

I'm sorry about your bad day. I'm writing to you on multiple threads, haha. Don't beat yourself up, just keep it clean the rest of the day. You may not even be all that affected by the cream, assuming it was only a little bit! You make me curious about these nanaimo bars though!

Yesterday I was feeling kind of down because I was bored at work and feeling super sluggish and kinda hungry from P2 dieting and feeling alone because I sometimes feel like I don't fit in quite yet so people don't talk to me that much. And then someone came by and literally dropped a little plate with a hunk of red velvet cake on my desk because he brought some for the office (the famous kind from a place in LA that's been named as Oprah's favorite and all that). I looked at it for a while, and then I threw it away.

Life's not always the best, but it's all in how we handle it. You can do it.

Nanaimo bars are TO DIE FOR! I don't think they're well known in the USA (which is probably good for you lol). I won't describe it here because that's totally cruel to everyone else haha

I am sooo impressed that you threw that cake away. I would have dove right in. The smaller I get, the less willpower I have because I don't feel such a sense of urgency. This whole being in virgin numbers territory is a little dangerous for me. On one hand, it's amazing. But on the other, I feel more relaxed and kind of like "meh!"

The numbers on the scale don't keep me in line when it comes to cheating as much as the idea of waking up tomorrow morning with a food hangover. I've been regularly gluten, dairy and sugar free since January (a few slip ups like today with the dairy) so I find when I do have it, I feel HORRIBLE the next day. Totally like a hangover. If anything, that keeps me from cheating more than seeing my weight go up.

Just had some chicken to try and help my hunger. I think I will munch on vegetables tonight and say a few prayers for strength.

I didn't even know it was a Canadian thing until I mentioned how much I love them to my BF and he was like huh?

The coffee shop I frequent thrice daily has the most RIDICULOUS ones. They are soooooo sweet and delicious. Thankfully they didn't have any today because as I was walking in to get my coffee, I was like yep, definitely caving today lol

Anyway the losses have slowed these past days to only .2 per day but from what I read this can happen. I am eating clean and walking so there is probably a whoosh coming.(I need to go get some spinach) that helps me

Just a suggestion (given with love) You might want to buy a coffee maker for your shop and avoid all that daily temptation. I know I couldn't be tempted thrice a day at the local tavern if I had to go in there for something,
just sayin'
Plus you will probably save some $$$$ for all those new dresses you are going to need.

I am down 1.4 this morning, weighin in at 205.2. Only 7 days to go. This morning I bagged up an entire trash sack of clothes that don't fit anymore. I am taking them to Goodwill later today. I am going to need some new winter clothes. Yeah!

I actually do have one, but I'm pretty picky about my coffee and it just doesn't cut it for me. I was thinking about putting it beside my bed so that I can make my coffee in the morning without even getting out of bed

I'm pretty good with the temptation when I go there. Yesterday was BRUTAL though. I have to admit to totally falling off the wagon. Don't even want to admit what I ate, but let's just say that I feel absolutely disgusting and I'm up 2.5 pounds this morning. I deserve the gain. I have noticed that my binging is less and few and far between lately, so I'm counting is at progress, not perfection.

Back on the wagon 100% today. I don't even want to look at food.

I'm feeling very lethargic today. My last dose was Friday at 5am. I cooked all day yesterday and froze stuff so that I would have things to eat. I cant wait for Tuesday morning. I think I will go in to work late so that I can eat breakfast lol.

Directly from P&I...

Plan of a Normal Course
125 I.U. of HCG daily (except during menstruation) until 40 doses have been given.
Until 3rd dose forced feeding.
After 3rd dose, 500 calorie diet to be continued until 72 hours after the last dose.
For the following 3 weeks, all foods allowed except starch and sugar in any form (careful with very sweet fruit).
After 3 weeks, very gradually add starch in small quantities, always controlled by morning weighing.

From Friday at 5am,
24 hours is Saturday, 5am.
48 hours is Sunday, 5am.
72 hours is MONDAY, 5am.

Sure you want to wait 'til Tuesday morning???

Morning all!

I've had decent losses the last few days, 1.0 yesterday and 0.6 today so I am into 144 and hoping for 140 by the end of the week. If I am figuring it correctly, last dose is Sunday morning so P3 starts Wednesday morning. I am still toying with ending this round in a rogue manner--maybe fat fasting the 3 days w/o hcg? I'm just really on the fence about it. On the one hand it's seriously tempting to try something different and MAYBE having a lot of fat will prevent an all-out pig fest the first couple of days of P3??? On the other hand, I feel like I need to give traditional stabilization THE RIGHT WAY (i.e. upping calories through meats, fats, and a little dairy without going nuts--literally!) the ole college try. I'll ponder this week and see what the scale does...

On the other hand, I feel like I need to give traditional stabilization THE RIGHT WAY (i.e. upping calories through meats, fats, and a little dairy without going nuts--literally!) the ole college try. I'll ponder this week and see what the scale does...

I always say that you never know until you try. I'm thinking of doing a fat fast prior to my vacation, that way I have some wiggle room there. And why not?

Well, this weekend was quite a sham. Back at 181.8. I don't really know what my problem is. Very disappointed in myself that my will power is SO low right now. My goal is still 140, and there's no way I'll get there the way I'm going right now. I'm sure it can't be good for my body to eat so clean and then go and binge on chocolate and potato chips. I promised myself this would be the last time I ever have to lose weight, and I'm realizing now that I'm becoming my old cliche self, where I lose, gain, lose, gain.

I think my problem is that I'm super happy with where I am right now, and even thought I REALLY want to get to 140, I don't want to get there as bad as I wanted to get to 180 when I was 232. I don't know how to find a renewed sense of excitement?

I had no idea that it would be this hard at this point. I do think my body is still adjusting to being smaller. Even though I've been in the 180's since July, I can totally feel the difference between then and now. I feel weird bones I haven't even felt before, and I see muscles sticking out that I haven't ever seen before. Which is great, but it's making me feel complacent I guess.

I've decided to start taking it just one day at at time, instead of focusing on the big 140 number. Maybe I will start creating smaller weekly goals instead. So it's Sunday right now and I'm at 181.8. My new goal for next sunday morning will be 176. I'm going to focus on finishing today strong (I've been 100% on so far) and then focus on tomorrow when it gets here.

LOL!!! That totally dawned on me yesterday and I became really excited. I'm just paranoid to start off wrong cause thats why I had trouble in the past.
ended this round down 25 lbs and 17 inches. I feel so good, so proud.

I was wondering if it was ok to be on p2 and exercise, from what I have been reading some of you are doing this. But I was told not to exercise on p2. Can someone explain what to do. Love to walk and being told not to.
