Do you stop hcg during your periods?

Dear Ladies,

Do you stop using hcg during your period? I know Pound & Inches recommends it as does Weightloss Apocolypse and I don't know what is going on with my periods - last month (not on hcg at all) I basically had it for 3 weeks out of the month. I ended that nightmare on July 31st. I started injecting last Sat, so Tuesday was my first vlcd and I got my period just this Thursday???? I injected on Friday thinking this was a fluke but still had it (light thou) Saturday and today....

Unfortunately I think that I am exhibiting the beginning of menopause and that is why my periods are screwy...and also one of the many (but a very strong one) reasons that I want to get this weight off.....and develop a healthy relationship with food. Weightless Apocoylpse truly has made a difference in my view of food and overeating....

Anyway any input would be GREATLY appreciate! Trying to decide what to do today regarding the shot

Thanks so much!
Kim

I do the homeopathichcg so I am no help there. I have NOT stopped my dosing while having TOM. That is what I do. I also have screwy cycles when I do the hcg--and coming off of it as well. It can last longer, lighter, shorter, heavier, and mess with the days of the cycle too. It is so individual. Also the hormone hcg effects every other hormone in your body---what you do to one will effect all the others. So it is very clear that when you do the hcg plan this "messed up TOM" happens. Perfectly normal while doing hcg to experience what you are experiencing.

The clinic I will be doing rxhgc through, which is very loyal to Simeon otherwise, says do NOT skip dosing during period. They say it's better to have a continuous steady dose.

I just did a round using Homeopathic drops and it messed with with cycle this month something crazy. Ended my round earlier than I wanted but needed to, I did get in the 23 days and lost 18 lbs. for this 2nd round. I am 50 and have been very peri-menapausal and had a 7 day flow along with almost 7 days of continual spotting. Needless to say I got through it but wondered when I would stop spotting. All in all I am okay, round 1 was definitely better than this 2nd round but I plan to do another after Christmas.

I did notice that my periods were quite late and wacky since I started HCG.

I didn't.

I had heard this too but I decided to just keep going rather than stopping. I had a stall that week but then when my period was over I started losing again.

Although I've heard that periods can be wacky after HCG, I've done one round and my period came this month at the same as last

I am a bit late with responding to you.BUT the P&I book says to STOP dosing while in you TOM! I haven't one of those for over 30 years so it isn't a problem for meAnd It is ultimately your decision..But you are suppose to stop according to DR.S. P&I Protocol. That would be on RX HCG I know nothing of the Hemopathic HCG. Also keep in mind that P&I was written 50 years ago.

Christy
Then you should do as your Dr. says. As I said... it was 50 years ago Dr. S wrote this P&I and I am sure if he were alive today there would be many changes

Best wishes to you!! And lots of losses

Berta, my post was in no way trying to refute yours. I just saw this thread in my feed and decided to reply to the question.

Hi Christie
I didn't even think you were refuting me sweetie. Boy the computer sure doesn't let us see each other expressions, so we know how someone is meaning things does it

I haven't been on any of the threads as much as I use to. But I try to get on a few times a week.
I hope your weight loss goes well for you. It seems you are doing great so far. Jut hang in there you can do this.

I was doing good and actually still am it is just a long time between rounds and then the longer you have to wait the less you have lost Meaning I started in April and in July had lost 30 lbs. Now here it is Sept and STILL only 30 lbs because of the days in between the phases
