Low blood sugar? Feeling a bit weak at times

Hi Guys,

I'm following WLA hunger scale for eating but this afternoon I felt a bit weak, kind of drawn and a bit disoriented, nothing horrible, but the moment I took a little nibble of tomatoe I felt better. Has anyone experienced this? I'm eating to hunger but because I felt kinda yucky and a bit week, I ate my other half of apple, without what I consider "real hunger". Any input would be welcome thanks.

Do you think that the weak, yucky feeling is actually a sign of hunger? Robin talks about learning your body's signals for hunger, maybe that's one of yours? I think what you're experiencing IS real hunger.

Adeline, you might want to look and see how much protein you are getting. (I know..we're both learning HOW to trust what our bodies are saying to us.)...but you may have to consider adding in a little more when you DO eat.

I think you can also ask q's on the comments section of the weightloss apocalypse youtube videos...or on Robin's blog...

Hope you feel better!

When I was feeling weak and dizzy, I would have half a cup of beef plus a potassium pill and then lay down. I felt better within two hours.

Potassium and Magnesium worked best for me. I got really lightheaded, especially when I'd first get up. Hope you figure it out. Maybe eating a bit more often, hunger or not, is a good idea?

I experienced this weak, dizzy feeling yesterday around 3:30 pm. I was definitely hungry and I felt like it was a side affect from that. I drank a cup of coffee and it went away immediately...and so did the hunger. It gave me enough time to get dinner prepared and all of that.

I had some blood sugar issues prior to starting hcg, so I wasn't terribly surprised by this. Sometimes, my blood sugar dips and I usually eat a piece of cheese or a piece of lunchmeat with some mustard and it is fine...but it's a challenge on this protocol to regulate it.

(I miss cheese.)
