HCG book question - please
Hi there...well I am back again and ready to make a meaningful change... my son is getting married this upcoming January, I will turn 50 in May :love:and I am at my all time heaviest....
I have all the supplies to do a couple/few rounds of hcg and had happened upon a book that you all were referring to - some weightloss armageddon??? Could someone point me in that directions - I am ready to take this on and wanted to read this - today will be loading... and just quick question - does the author advise to load? Please and thank you all so much for any info!!! Love, Kim |
bumping - would like to order book from amazon this morning - but can't find it:console:

Congrats on the upcoming wedding and well, turning 50! A lot going on!
You are talking about Weight Loss Apocalypse by Robin Woodall Loading is a very important part of the protocol. It is highly suggested you load on high fat foods such as sour cream, avocado, fatty meats, nuts, even ice cream. When do you start? |

Weight Loss Apocalypse is by Robin Phipps Woodall. She also has a BUNCH of videos on YouTube. In order to get your round going, you DO need to load. Loading with fat is important. Loading with carbs....not really good. In my first round, I loaded with lots of different things...but I definitely ate more carbs (sugar is my vice) and the first week I experienced some headaches....:( Later rounds, I ate more avocado, nuts, Ribeye Steaks, BBQ Ribs, chicken wings, cocoa crack....I found by eating the fat, I didn't gain as much. AND I didn't have the headaches...like I did in the first round. The other thing I did (after the 1st round), was made a list of what I wanted to have on my next load. If there was something "calling my name" during the round, I added it to the list...and then made sure to have it on the next load. :jumpjoy: And for me, it worked better. |

I think Weight Loss Apocalypse is a great book for anyone doing HCG. The brilliance of it is that it uses the HCG protocol, which is very effective on its own, to help you relearn hunger and how to eat in a way that you won't regain all the weight that you lose.
I have watched all of Robin's videos on You Tube and I think I've benefited as much, if not more, from those. I really feel like this is changing my life. And for the first time ever, I feel like I'm on top of it all. I am going to be able to get off the weight and keep it off! It is so exciting!! I wish you much success!! |
Thank you all so much! I did the ebook as a kindle on my iPad perfect! Yes I love the idea of using the protocol for therapy!
Today is loading day three and I am really going to do my best to start off on the right foot! |

At any rate, I'm going with two days per my clinic/doctor. I have gallstones, and I'm scared to upset them with three days of high fat. |

And would the 3 days of loading appling to all Rx hcg -- drops and pellets? Or just the injections? |

Just bumping this up. Planning to start another round after Labor Day, and am using Rx pellets, so I am curious about t his whole 2 vs. 3 days of loading issue.
Any hcg experts care to weigh in? |

Did ya see my post just before you bumped this up? I explained why 2 days up there. |
It should be two days, as Dawn said, though some people do more because of their schedules. Dr. S had some patients load for a week, but only if they were malnourished from too much dieting to begin with.
Patients "must eat to capacity of the most fattening food they can get down until they have had their third injection," so you begin VLCDs on your third day. :) |
Oh Ok thank dawn and cocoapeanut, that's what I was thinking, and what I've done in the past. Just wasn't sure if there had been some new "discoveries" since the last time I did hcg successfully -- which was nearly 2 years ago! :)
