Happy -- Best of luck in P3!! How was your P2?

Eddie -- I LOVE SHOCKED FACES!! Can't wait to get my shocked faces at Thanksgiving. I pretty much walk in like, "Alright compliment me, let's hear it"

Manders -- Yeah loading is so fun and so disgusting sometimes..haha. Don't worry about the weight, you'll lose it. Patience is hard though

Shelby -- OMG LOL. You would STS. But you've dropped basically a million pounds already! I totally peeked at the scale today too. Even though official day is Saturday I'm happily back to my pre-pre-load weight (um I probably have at LEAST 3 "pre's" to get thru ) but would love to be in the 160's again this weekend. It'll probably happen, I'm close. Also, I want your coffee. Mine is so sad and lame compared to Kauai.

Lara -- Glad to see you're doing well! Closet shopping can be your newest cheap hobby!! Hehe

I'm okay, hoping I'm not as hungry today as yesterday! Excited to be losing weight again, honestly. And glad I'm detoxing! Menu for today:

B- lots of coffee..man if coffee wasn't allowed on this diet I'd seriously reconsider
L- chicken, tomato, apple or orange (can't decide)
D- beef patty, onions or spinach (can't decide, depends on if I feel like cooking..lol), strawberries

Have a great day

I was absolutely starving this morning. Weird, I haven't felt that sensation for a while. Menu for today.

B- huge coffee w/sweet n low
L- chicken, cauliflower
D- to be determined.

My man is at some sort of gaming convention in Ohio, and so I haven't talked to him today. So grumpy.

My 1rst round was a success! I didn't lose at the upper end of the scale- but, ANY weight loss is a miracle for me! It was bad enough over the past 5-6 years with my hypothyroidism rearing it's ugly head, but when menopause hit, oye! Impossible. So far, it looks like I lost about 1/2 a pound a day.. I'm anxious to see what my actual LDW will be!!

I really had no hunger .. and stuck to protocol 98% of the time- I had a couple of cocktails- and paid for that with 2-3 day setbacks. I won't make that mistake in R2!!

I'm happy, scared, excited...lol. The whole gamut!! I just want to stay on P2..

Afternoon all

Well today is R3 VLCD9 and I'm down 11.8lbs ... I'm feeling hungry - so drinking coffee like it's going out of style ... okay that's a bit exaggerated ... lol ... but yes, drinking coffee does help clear the feeling of hunger.

Something that I'm quite surprised at is that I'm having cravings for freakin' TACO CHIPS! Like where on earth is that coming from - besides my former life. I haven't had chips since I don't know when. WOW! Driving me INSANE I must say! Oh and to top it off - I've also got cravings for the BIGGEST steak ever right along with a protein shake and roast chicken! I know those are good cravings, but it's still driving me insane - just not as bad as the Taco Chips are ... LOL

Ok- so, I was so stressed out just thinking about going to P3- I've decided to continue on P2 for another week or two. I can't justify stopping right now.

I did 25 days, took a one week break while on vacation, and have been back on for 10 days. I'm thinking I should just continue on and worry about stabilizing after I've gotten closer to goal. I'm not feeling any type of 'immunity issues'. And, I feel good, too.

So, I guess you guys are stuck with me for a little longer

I have a question for any of the mods or folks who know the ropes around here.

Since Netrition will no longer be selling HCG, are we allowed to more openly share information about formulas and sources than we were before? I do not mean selling on the site, not at all. I'm talking about sharing our experiences with one brand or another, customer service, prices, etc. The internet is crawling with sellers- some reputable, some not. Weeding through all those as a newbie is intimidating! I wouldn't have known which to buy if it weren't for the recommendations of another poster on another board.

Just curious since there's been no mention of it.

VLCD5-Down 1.7 today. My daughter made low carb, sugar free, gluten free pumkin muffins lastnight. She was so proud of them.... (confession)....I did not eat my fruit or breadsticks throughoout the day so I had 1/4 of one. Was holding my breath getting on the scale this morning. I am going to push a ton of water today to flush good. I know an indiscretion can show up a day later. We'll see tomorrow.

Your best bet it to send Kathy a PM. ( She is the HCG mod) But from what she said to me, you can say the brand but not where to purchase. That was as recently as 2 weeks ago.

I'm planning on going into an interruption with my last dose on Sept 6. I'm in the same position! Mine will be about 7-8 days. I'll see where I'm at then, but I'll likely want to go back into P2 for another couple weeks or so.

Well, I lost .4 today, but I am still not back down to 212 from 10 days ago. So, I haven't had any new losses in 10 days. What is the longest stall anyone has had that isn't cheating?

Does anyone have any thoughts on a PI for 1 week to refeed? I would only eat fat, meat, eggs, and low GI veggies. I only have 14 days on my 43 day round left. This is my last shot for the year. I don't plan to start round 4 until January 4. Any thoughts would be appreciated?

I've seen people stall for two weeks when they hit an old set point.

I would just say that you could try it and see what happens. Some people say that their losses are boosted afterwards, and others don't like the PI because it can be difficult mentally to transition into a more relaxed diet and then back to P2 in such a short time. It's easy to lose discipline. Also, some people gain on the PI and they freak out. It's an option, but you'll only really know how it goes for you if you attempt it. And if this is your last shot for a long while, I think you may as well go for it! But perhaps that is just my experimental nature.

Also consider that you may continue to lose in P4, depending on how you eat!

My two cents.

That sounds good! Yum!

Well, yesterday was VLCD1. Today is day 2. I weighed in this morning, down 3.4 pounds! WOOO! I'm only another 3.4 off of my lowest weight. Yay!!! Hoping to get down there by Sunday, and then into virgin territory! Can't wait to see 179. I feel more committed than ever this time, even more committed than my first round. My body seems to still be recovering after my weekend debauchery, however I am starting to feel a bit better.

Happy losses y'all!

I put a picture of the wedding dress that I want up on my computer so I can stare at it. It's a style that will really only look good once I'm slim, so it's going to keep me motivated!

Ohh yay dress! I need to do something like that. I keep thinking about all the skinny jeans, bikinis, and tops that I would like to wear without having a stupid tummy pooch or saddlebags!! I'm so glad that you're determined -- when it comes down to the grind, it really makes all the difference.

I'm flying home today, excited to see my parents! Packed my meals already. I like the injections but they are harder to travel with, so I usually skip Saturday and dose when I come back Sunday, then resume normal schedule on Monday. I dunno what I would do for a longer trip I also just found out that dbf is flying to LA Sunday as well..I think he's interviewing somewhere on Monday. I was planning to break up with him on Sunday, so that makes it interesting?

Well..I just don't feel I'm very into him emotionally or physically. I need some space and he's not very good at giving it - he's a bit clingy. He's also looking to move here and pressuring me to live together, which I've said multiple times that I don't want to do. I'm feeling a little smothered, which is more stressful than I'd like. And I don't see us being together for the long-term. At least in my mind.

That being said, he's actually very sweet and affectionate, and a genuinely good person. And he's very in love with me. I'm just obviously not in love with him, so I guess that all means that I should probably break up with him.

Those are my thoughts.

Ah, yes. You absolutely should break up with him if that's how you feel. You should be totally insane about him if you're going to live with him or get married, not feeling smothered.

YAY!!!! We will be back on p2 together! I will probably do last vlcd on August 31st so that I can enjoy Labor day weekend, and take a 10 day interruption back in time to do the last three weeks of September in P2 (September 9th thru the 29th)
I just want to make sure that I dont gain at all and that I'm not going to load at all (well maybe that Haagen Dasz ice cream) lol.
and I really want to get to goal and stay there! It also gives me a rest and I really need that on this WOE!

Week one VLCD8.........down 10! I'll take that!

I have a challenging week coming up. Teacher's are back for inservice, and that also involves lots of provided lunches. I'm not sure how I will make it through...will have to take it day by day. I really want to do this right without any cheats.

Why do people insist on trying to feed me?

Because you're obviously starving.

Can you pack a lunch?

VLCD3 today. I have been perfectly on plan the last 2 days. I am down another 1.8, for a total loss of 5.2 pounds in 2 days. Yay!!!! I'll feel relieved once I hit 182 (hopefully tomorrow). I think the whole only having coffee for breakfast is really making a difference.

Morning, VLCD6 down 1.2 for a toatal of 10.6.
I'm happy about this but I am still 10 lbs away from where I was when I did HCG the 1st time. As I said I had gone down 20lbs on a short round and kept it off for a year and a half. Then between major traveling, cruising and stess... went wild (in the food dept) for the 1st time in about 4yrs. Finally now getting it under control.
I had lost 35lbs eating low carb about 5 yrs ago and had been able to maintain that but just didn't seem to be able to go lower. Then HCG helped me break throught that barrier.

Started another round a couple of months ago but 2weeks into it had to bail due to needing to drive my elderly mother from CA to WA to place her into a care facility in an emergency situation. (She has dementia and it has progressed to this point). I stayed there for a couple of weeks as she was transitioning and have flown back and forth since then. It has been quite stressful, emotional and of course eating whatever along the way.
Now getting back under control and will be doing alteast another couple of rounds.
Will be heading back to WA in a week but I am well under way and think I will be able plan ahead enough this time.

Good luck Linda! Emotional times in life can be soooo hard to lose weight in. Stay strong and remember that there's a difference between physical hunger and emotional hunger. You're doing so well. Keep it up!

Where is everyone?!

Did they all go to P3?

I hit 182.0 on the nose this morning. Last time I only got to 182.2. I'm soooo excited! That's a loss of 7.2 in 3 days. So If I work it out, I leave on Sept 9 for Detroit. So that leaves me 19 days for the rest of this round, plus 2 days for coming off HCG, for a total of 21 days. I would love to be able to lose about 12-15 more before I finish.

Happy losses friends!
