It's made with sugar, but if you let it ferment long enough the probiotics eat all the sugar. It's very tart this way. I would only use this if you make your own, because I think commercial varieties stop the fermentation before it gets super-tart.
It doesn't work if you use stevia, because the bacteria only will grow if it has something to "eat". You can google for recipes. Not sure how to get the scoby though. |

Nope you can't have it while on hcg because of the sugar it needs to ferment.
Hcg is awesome if following the protocol, so why screw it? You can have kombucha again when in P4. |

i'd be cautious, as I mentioned above, it must be fermented long enough for ALL the sugar to be eaten by the scoby.

Kombucha is excellent, but the SCOBY-based versions would really only be suitable for P4.
