P2 Simeon's Protocol Week of August 5th
New thread for the week... :)
|
eeick... I'm scared and excited...
T-minus 48 hours until loading day. Cant wait to not restrict myself but I will keep it under control. Hmmm I think I would like a box of chocolates from See's candies, mmm. I will try to keep it not so carby tho.:D

Okay new thread. New day. Let's all put our best feet forward. :hugs: The last thread reminded me of the Little Rascals (reverse gender) but do you remember the womens haters club. You ladies went from one idiot dude to all men are rotten in no time. If you all remember this was my first post here:
Hey is this thread for ladies only? Maybe this HCG (which is a female hormone) has made me too sensitive.haha Btw I really like you gals. As far as my losses I lost a pound to 215 but this morning went up .6lbs so I am bouncing all over. I am in day 25 and going to 35 then a 4 day break and continuing on. So far 19 pounds in 25 days. Today I feel wierd not 100%, can't put a finger on it. :dunno: Fat Eddie. P.s. I am going to post two pictures in a few minutes to my album. |
Hello Lara and Eddie! Thanks for the new thread, Lara. And thanks for giving us another chance, Eddie:)
I'm down 1 lb after bouncing around for a week. Whew! I'm going to try for 40 days this round. I want to get back to last rounds last dose weight and a few below that....I ate my way through June with gusto and abandon and have had to recover lost ground this round. I am now 5 lbs away from LDW and crossing my fingers to get there soon. Happy HCGing everyone! |

I'm so glad you've come back to join us. This really is a great group. Congrats on your overall losses. It is normal to fluctuate some...gotta remember that fat leaves the cell...but sometimes water fills it back in until you get a flush again. Also...weight does slow down considerably after a few weeks...but in my experience...it picks back up after a stall. I do find that doing a mini-steak day (3-4 oz. for lunch,3-4 oz. &a tomato for dinner) helps me break a stall of 4-5 days. Keep on truckin'...you're doing great!!! |
I think that I am going to call my round and go into P3... a) Tom just arrived today b) I am getting very restless c) I am almost, but not quite to the point where my joints start aching all day d) We have to house sit for a week and the kitchen at the house is AWESOME to cook in! I can whip up all sorts of P3 dishes... in fact, I may do some preserving (tomatoes/salsa) while I am there. My kitchen at home is original to when it was built in 1936... cute as can be but no room, no dishwasher, limited counter space. and e) I am 1 pound away from goal for this round.

Hi Eddie! Thanks for coming back :)
|
Yay Eddie, I'm so glad you came back. No more Men Bashing!!!
So today is my last VLCD / last day in P2! I can't believe I made it! I'm so very pleased with my results. As of this morning I'm 162.8. Down 19.2lbs in 22 days!!! LIW was164 so I have some wiggle room. Wish I could weigh one last time tomorrow morning to see if I have any further loss from Today but I'll be out of town so oh well! (I'm calling it a 20lb loss overall) So tomorrow morning starts a new phase and I'm scared but excited. While I'm very happy with my results, I still see room to improve. I had taken a "before picture" and this morning I took an "after" picture and honestly, you couldn't really see the difference really which was surprising. I know the photo is not doing me justice and that in person it's much more noticible. Every day my husband comments wow you look so skinny. You look great etc and I know from my clothing and even just looking at myself in the mirror that there's a big difference. Sadly, after my pregnancy, my stomach and wasitline are just a mess and don't seem to want to go away!. In fact, I finally had the courage last night to try on the jeans I was wearing right before I got pregnant. Despite weighing almost 10lbs less than I did back then, some jeans still don't fit. I have a serious muffin top now. Sad, but I was still happy to fit into SOME non maternity jeans and clothing finally! I plan to start excercising and working on my abs more now and then I will most likely be doing another round in September to really get myself skinny! It's been so great getting to know you all. Thank you all for the support! :hugs: Best of luck in the rest of P2 and I'll see ya'll on the other side (in P3!!!) Happy Losing! |
Best Wishes Reddy! I am getting a bit anxious about P3....when you have done P2 and you know how it works, it's scary to think of something else!
I am still trucking along. I am back to a weight of 202, which is where I was a week ago before we went to that darn wedding reception. Day 40 would be August 16th for me. We are going on vacation Aug 31. So that gives me plenty of time to shed a few more pounds (i'm at 17 now and REALLY want 20!) and some time to get adjusted to P3 before we leave. Lots of drama while I was MIA! lol Glad your back Eddie! |

Another zero loss for me today:annoyed:But much better than if I had gained. It is looking as if my vial may be empty by Monday for sure.So... if so then PH3 for me for 3 weeks and Ph4 for 6 weeks.(maybe;))

WHEW I am happy I didn't say naything abut men:D You are doing so awesome I am proud of you Eddie. Hey by the way I am curious (or maybe just nosey;)) but did you ask your son about sticking that plate of food in your face? Well you hang in there KUTGW and we really are a great and supportive group here:high5: Quote:

:hyst::hyst:where do you come up with these jokes? TOO FUNNY!!! |

Hey Berta- I know you're kinda disappointed that you didn't quite make it to a mini-goal........BUT give yourself a TON of credit. You have stuck it out and still lost while a major life disruption occured. Most of us would have not even continued, or even gain under the stress. This just proves that you can/will be able to handle maintenance when stress happens. Keep on truckin'!!! Have an awesome P3!!! PS...If everyone wonders why I like to use "keep on truckin'"...it's b'cuz my only brother who died fron stage 4 brain tumor/cancer at 31, used to be a long-haul truck driver and would use it all the time, and we'd laugh at him:clap: |

I know.... but I still have about three or four days I am hoping.I have stayed the same for two days now:annoyed:But the P&I book says if a person is taking diuretics it decreases weight loss. Maybe I should stop taking them for the rest of this round ? Actually I have lost 17lbs this round but it has been 36 days today including my Load Days but NOT my interuption days of 2 weeks. So not so great! Anyway I will see what tomorrow brings as the book also says sometimes a stall will happen but it ends up dropping to where it would have been after a few days... so we will see. If I do not loose in the morning I am considering going to PH3 what do you think?I am going to do PH3 3weeks and Ph4 is it six weeks? I know somone told me but it still hasn't registered in my mind for some reason:stars: I even printed it out:lol: My DH was a trucker all our life until two years ago.( funny how much we have in common;)) I am so happy he quit:clap:.I hated him being gone but liked the money he made:D.It was nothing for him to make 2,000.00 a week. We really missed it at first but not now! Much more to life than money:up:;) Where are you at in your plan? What Phase? I know you are doing wonderful:up: KUTGW. And keep on truckin:D |

I have also been playing around with the same pound for 2-3 days...was UP .4 this morning. But, usually happens after losing so well last week...5 lbs. plus lots of inches. If it keeps up...I may do another mini-steak day this weekend. Hubby wants to grill...they've been eating whatever b'cuz kids are in VBS...and hubby has had late night service calls...HVAC...super hot...everyone's A/C's are blitzing out. I'm not sure about the lengths of P4 yet...I don't do them...only P3, then back to P2. I know the "by the book" people will know the correct answer. My brother was mainly single/dating up until 4 months before his death. He had just gotten engaged in June & he died in October. So, trucking for him was an adventure. He loved it. He was so good at it...a natural...other truckers would have trouble backing their rigs to loading docks...spend 20+ min. getting it right...my brother would back up one time and it was perfect. They would offer him $20 just to park it for them...lol. He never accepted the money:D My dad is a truck driver also...very good also. In fact, when we pull our boat out of the back yard, my dad has to come & put it away for my hubby. (Don't want to have more fence repair bills...) After my brother was to marry, he was going to find local truck driving...but never made it. I am about 13 lbs. from onederland...then I will prolly do P3/P4. Then proceed to hit goal of 25 more lbs. |
after 2 pounds loss yesterday, no loss today. no surprise there.

:up:dbunny and moonriver I'm glad to be back
Crazy PreK thanks for the the congrats and I'll keep on truckin'....:high5: Reddy thanks and good luck with P3-"YOU CAN DO IT" :shake: Seems like alot of you gals will be moving very soon :sad:/but happy for you all such great disciple and protocol:shake: Berta you have been through so much lately, you deserve success, onward to P3 for you:jumpjoy: My son has many issues, he shrugged it off. I figure I'll get his attention when I pass him on the scale this fall season.:hyst: Anyhow can't wait till see the scale in a.m. :dunno:?? Need a huge move. |

.2 or .4 or .6 every week...LOL. I have 2-5 lb. losses usually, and there's one guy, who always loses something. So it can be a while. I've been hoping someone drops soon :hyst: I'm thinking it will prolly end up being me & the guy eventually. If it doesn't happen in 2-3 weeks, I will take a 4 day PI...I still lose big that week so doesn't matter. I just know that if I go into P3...I run the risk of being up even .2 and I'd be out of the race. BUT, it's been good for me...gives me something else to work toward. |
Quote:
That will certainly show him;) By the way love your new Avi picture you are quite photogentic:hyst: Quote:
|
okay day 26 down 1lb. :jumpjoy: which makes me happy. I think those walks help and wearing an ipod makes them go better. ;)
___________________________________ Riddle: There are two fat guys under an umbrella without either one of them getting wet. How can that be? |
Quote:
And...either it's a BIG umbrella or they each have their own??!! |
down one more pound today, to 18...WOOHOO!! I really want 20 this round, but mostly i want to hit onederland! :D
|
VLCD 36 and i've lost a total of 16 pounds so far. LOL. doesn't sound like much but it puts me at 118.4 pounds and i can fit in my size 3 capris :P
my goal was 115 but i lowered it to 110 or 105 even. my biggest losses were week 3! imagine that. but its also around the time i started using an online calculator and making sure i stay under 500 calories a day. i have no desire to quit p2 because i dont want to start over and the tiny changes in the scale really does motivate me. good luck everyone! |
I'm going to be here Eddie, starting Monday and maybe in the P3 thread too.
|
Good morning HCGERS:hiya:
WEEEELLLLLLLL I am up .2 today:annoyed:. I am about to dump the rest of that HCG vial as it doesn't seen to want to run out and I am pretty sick of PH2 at this point! But I am going to try to make it until it does run out:doh: I am looking forward to PH3 for sure this time I am going to do the diabetic diet the dietician gave my DH at the hospital. It really seems like it will be right up my alley. I won't do the carbs or sugar But when I get this off and I am in mainteance I am going to do it instead of JUDDD (I think);) That is a loooonnng way off, so I have plenty of time to decide:up: I hope everyone has a wonderful & safe week-end. EDDIE here is a joke for you . Two men were in a boat fishing.... first guy says to the other one "I think I am going to divorce my wife" The other says.. "why's that"? The 1st says "She hasn't spoken to me for three months now" His friend says "Man you better reconsider that.....a woman like that is hard to find":hyst: As for the answer to your riddle.... I have no idea maybe it's a Big beach umbrella???? |
"Riddle: There are two fat guys under an umbrella without either one of them getting wet. How can that be?"
It's not raining? :hyst: |
