August 1, 2012 start date - NEED FRIENDS!

This will be my second time on protocol. I lost 15 lbs my 1st round and hit my goal weight, but sadly didn't take P3 seriously and gained all the weight back. This time I plan on completing P2 one last time, and maintaining FOREVER! I could really use some friends to join me this time!! Any takers? I load one more day...VLCD 1 starts Aug 2.

I've also done it once, and lost 30+lbs - but I've gained about half back in about a year - just from being lazy about correction days.

I have done my 2 load days, and start VLCD1 today!

Love that idea, Nomoore! My first round (back in December), I cheated sooo much. This time I made a resolution for NO cheating (except for the pre-determined ones, such as mixing my veggies)......this should really help. I have a vision in my head this time, too, of how I will look after P2!

Hmm... i guess i should mention that I have two planned interruptions then: One is a wedding this Saturday and another is a work lunch next Wednesday. My biggest issue will be wanting to eat off plan on the three days in between, but right now, I have a perfect storm in my life. I'm on a super strict budget for the next few months so I can go to Africa in February. So when the thought crossed my mind, it was immediately squashed by, "You can't afford it!" I might end up doing an extended round since you don't do a whole lot of eating on p2 so you also end up saving a lot of money. But we'll see how it all works out.

Great job on the losses! Here goes vlcd1. Bflogurl, I couldn't muster up the strength to weigh myself post loading either, so it will be a couple of days before I am happy with the number on the scale anyway, probably. Just need to keep my end goal in mind. I am using homeopathic, but am wondering if anyone has used both homeopathic and rx and have noticed a difference?? Have a great day, everyone! Helps to know we are doing this together!

But I'm here, cheering you on!

Way to go, JAN!!!!!!!

I have seen success with both Rx and with homeopathic so I say whichever you've got, do the program with all your might! No cheats! not one lick, bite, taste, spoonful or fingertip or off-protocol foods!!! After doing this 7 rounds I can tell you this is the only way to success! I'm keeping this 100 pounds lost off me, you can do it too!

Day 4 VLC

Checking in for day 4 results: down another 1.2 pounds. Doing MUCH better than my first round in December....no cheating so far!
I do have a planned 7 mile hike coming up on Sunday. It will be very strenuous, a lot of hills and fast-paced. I signed up with a friend, so I don't want to flake out on her. I am usually hungry in the morning, so don't want to hike that far without eating. I'm thinking of doing a small cheat meal of low carb toast with peanut butter before the hike. Do you guys think that would be a disaster and mess up weight loss for a couple days????

I'd just add some on-protocol protein and have it for breakfast, maybe with one of your fruits for the day. A little extra protein for a "cheat" isn't really a cheat, in my book.
