I forgot to post this morning, I was finally down a decent amount, 1.2 lbs. I didnt do anything different just left out fruit and one carb yesterday. this is my first round so maybe this is just how my body handles things

I know Dr. S. wrote something about when a fat cell releases fat the cell will fill up with water which weighs more than the fat did. later it will release the water and the scale will go down. So maybe thats what happened for me. just glad I was finally down!

maybe things are looking up for all of us who were stalling

Yesterday, I woke up late and had to rush out the door, so I didn't get time to weight first thing (kind of woke up in a panic b/c I overslept, lol. Overslept b/c I was up too late watching the final episodes of Breaking Bad, season 4 - oh my word!)

We were only late for a park playdate, but it was a BIRTHDAY playdate, so I was freaking out a little. My 5yo was just excited to see his buddies, though, so no worries.

Then when we went to the movies - I may have had a little popcorn, no butter. I didn't touch the cake, ice cream, candy, or breakfast for dinner that the rest of the family had (bacon!!!) so I won't beat myself up too badly, lol. Even though I could smell that bacon from the driveway...

But, in the end, a happy birthday was had by all, AND, I'm still down a little for both days combined, so I'll take it.

Week 1 results - 7.8 lbs down in 7 days.

On to week 2!
Awesome losses for the week girl!!!!!!!

Went to bed with headache though and woke up feeling weak, like low sugar week. Gonna go eat some strawberries and hopefully that will help!

Great losses!! Yes the strawberries arecsweet so it should help. I eat 8oz mon/wed/fri for breakfast. Im down 1.2...im ok with that. Day 10 and down 15.8. 20 more to go!! We can do this!!!

Thanks CMarie, for your advice to just stick it out....it's working Down another 0.6 this morning....slow but steady is better than stalled! Guess it's what is expected in week 2. Also, I figured I was probably stalled because of my usual PMS 2-pound bloat....TOM came early this month, yesterday.

Yes...close to goal. AGAIN !!! Been at goal a few times and seem to let it slip away.I'm 5'6"

And I did have a gain this morning. 2 pounds.I think my scale was having a "MOMENT"....LOL

But it's still a net loss....so, I Am Good With That.

So close...almost cheated after everyone at work said stoo losing but i know better...i brought a size 10 dress from burlington..it fit. So i put up my pre preg jeans to keep me motivated. Anyone ever ate a sirloin burger wrapped in romaine??

Hi Everyone!

I have no idea where to post this but I had to share my success with everyone so you guys could maybe try too. I was stalled for 2 1/2 months and still on induction levels. I have been low carb since the end of november 2011. I have done numerous meat and egg fasts (one time i was on it for 7 weeks!) and lost weight but only for the first 6 days never beyond that. So this Tuesday I decided to do my own modified version of the fat fast. I have lost 5.2lbs in less than 3 days! My menu and percentages are as follows:

Calories: 1718
Protein: 53g
Fat: 447g
Carbs: 13g

4tbsp cream cheese right when I wake up

Coffee with 4tbsp heavy whipping cream and 3 tbsp of coconut oil for lunch

Hamburger patty with bacon, cheese and lettuce for dinner*

5 eggs made with lots of mayo and mustard for a fourth meal

Couldve sworn i posted this morning but didnt see it!! Good job on the losses ladies!! Down 1.8 this morning.

Hows everyone day going? I was thinking of switching my goal to 150 instead of 140 and low carbing the rest. After having 5 children i guess i still want to look like a teen.... if low/no carb (like using very little bread having a net zero carbs) can you still lose weight after hcg? Thanks for the info.

hi guys! today is day 15 and for the past few days my losses have slowed down like crazy. my weight has either stayed the same or i've lost only 0.2 --- is this normal??? is there anything i can do to speed it up?

Hey, I feel your frustration!! I am at about the same place as you (day 17 for me) and am going through my SECOND stall......grrrr!!!! Last one happened the same days last week, lasted 4 days, this one has been 5 days. BUT, just stay strong and keep doing what you are doing.....last week, the stall broke and I dropped a pound and a half over 2 days. Hoping for the same this time!
